The 'A-List' Laughs At 'Housewives' Comparisons

Comparisons to Bravo's 'Housewives' franchise were unavoidable when Logo announced they'd ordered up the debut season of 'The A-List: New York,' from the producers of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta.'

A reality show about six successful gay men living, working and falling in love in New York, 'The A-List: New York' premiered last night on Logo.

"I don't feel offended by the term 'housewife' and it doesn't bother me to be compared," says Mike Ruiz. "I've always said that since the beginning, that I'm the Jill Zarrin," added Derek Saathoff.

Ryan Nickulas, Mike Ruiz, Reichen Lehmkuhl, Derek Saathoff and Rodiney Santiago talked with PopEater about how they really feel about being slated as the next 'Housewives'. Here's the video:

Watch "The A-List: New York" Monday nights at 10:00 pm (ET) on Logo!
