Rihanna Debuts Her New Single

Rihanna told everyone recently that the wait is "ova", and today, it finally was.

She debuted "Russian Roulette," the first single from her hotly anticipated album, "Rated R,: on Ryan Seacrest's show.

Listen to the song below.

The soaring ballad follows a woman on the verge of taking a turn at the suicide game: "You can see it thorugh my chest/That I'm terrified/But I'm not leaving/I know that I must pass this test/So just pull the trigger."

The song, which eerily ends with a gunshot, was written and produced by Ne-Yo, who also wrote her 2006 No. 1 hit "Unfaithful" and dueted with the Grammy-winning singer on the Top 10 smash "Hate That I Love You." The video for the song is expected to premiere in prime-time on ABC.

The song was produced by production duo Stargate and the video for the track is directed by Anthony Mandler, who has directed seven of Rihanna's videos including "Unfaithful" and "Disturbia," as well as "Hate That I Love You" with Ne-Yo.

Here are the lyrics in case you want to sing-a-long:

Take a breath, take it deep

Calm yourself, he says to me
If you play, you play for keeps
Take a gun, and count to three
I’m sweating now, moving slow
No time to think, my turn to go

[Chorus]

And you can see my heart beating
You can see it through my chest
And I’m terrified but I’m not leaving
Know that I must must pass this test
So just pull the trigger

Say a prayer to yourself

He says close your eyes
Sometimes it helps
And then I get a scary thought
That he’s here means he’s never lost

(Chorus)

As my life flashes before my eyes

I’m wondering will I ever see another sunrise?
So many won’t get the chance to say goodbye
But it’s too late too pick up the value of my life

(Chorus)

"Rated R," Rihanna's fourth album, drops on November 23rd.
