Comedienne Ellen DeGeneres stunned New York theatregoers on Tuesday night when she made her Broadway debut with a surprise cameo in hit musical Promises, Promises.The funnywoman, 52, hit the stage as a nurse in the first act of the play, which stars Sean Hayes and Kristin Chenoweth.
But DeGeneres' brief appearance was only a one-off. Te stint was filmed for the new season of her talk show The Ellen DeGeneres Show, which returns to the air next week.
