David Caruso, hold onto your shades! Eddie Cibrian will join the cast of C.S.I. Miami as a regular when the series starts its eighth season this fall.Eddie has bounced back following the intense media speculation over his alleged affair with Leann Rimes. Rimes has been at the center of a tabloid storm following accusations that she cheated on her husband with Cibrian after US magazine printed pictures of the pair enjoying an intimate night out in Los Angeles earlier this year.
But despite constant reports, Rimes' marriage to dancer Dean Sheremet is heading to the divorce courts, Cibrian has departed the furore relatively unscathed.
Eddie will play a character who joins the Miami crime investigation team from the Los Angeles Police Department when the new season hits the small screen in the autumn.
Before then, Cibrian will star in the Hallmark movie Working Miracles.
