Elvis Crespo, Latin Singer, Quizzed Over Plane Sex Act

Grammy award-winning singer Elvis Crespo has denied performing a sex act during a recent flight.

One passenger complained that the Merengue singer exposed himself to her shortly after the flight left Houston.

The Puerto Rican star was quizzed by authorities in Miami after the pilot contacted the control tower, but said he did not recall the incident.

As it allegedly took place over US airspace, the FBI have also been called in to investigate the claims.

The 37-year-old was not arrested by police officers at Miami airport and no charges have been made.

The singer's publicist has yet to comment on the allegations.

Crespo, whose 1998 debut album Suavemente became a hit, married his manager in Puerto Rico earlier this month.

He was due to visit New York on Thursday to discuss commitments relating to the city's annual Puerto Rico Day parade, which is due to take place in June.
