Help Those In Need!

A Night to Remember: Second annual fundraiser at Las Olas Riverfront to benefit hurricane victims

Hollywood, FL – – Our Daily Bread Mission is hosting its second annual fundraiser at Off the Hookah, in the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s Riverfront, on October 12, 2008 from 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. The fundraiser is being held to provide much needed food and assistance to the poor and afflicted in Dominican Republic and Haiti. The event, of formal attire, has a cover charge of $60 and includes dinner, dancing, live jazz entertainment, prizes, raffles…and as last year, a great surprise!

Our Daily Bread Mission is a non-profit organization dedicated to feeding the poor in Dominican Republic, many of whom are Haitians who migrate looking for a better life. As the name states, the "mission" is to provide "daily bread" to those most in need.

The recent hurricanes and storms have devastated those who are already living in dire conditions and are also afflicted in many ways. Last year’s event was a great success, and this year promises to be even better! Please lend a helping hand and join Our Daily Bread Mission in feeding those most in need through your participation on Sunday, October 12, 2008 at Off the Hookah located in Las Olas’ Riverfront, 300 S W 1st Ave., Ft. Lauderdale, FL 33301 at 6:00 p.m.
