Sandra Bullock: 'Ryan Reynolds Is Not My Lovah'

There's only one man in Sandra Bullock's life right now – her son, Louis.

In an interview with Today's Al Roker, Bullock made it clear that rumors of her and newly single Ryan Reynolds being an item aren't true.

"I think there will be a collective sigh amomgst women across the united States when I say he's not my lovah," Bullock, 46, says on the red carpet before Sunday night's Golden Globes. "He's just an amazing friend for 10 years ... but I don't get his loving after dark."

Bullock, who is currently working on Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close with Tom Hanks, added Louis is the only man in her life right now, saying "it's all I can handle."

And as for her 1-year-old, romance is a few years off: He is "off the market 'til he is 18," she says.

Scarlett Johansson & Ryan Reynolds Split Up

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds have separated.

"After long and careful consideration on both our parts, we've decided to end our marriage," they say in a joint statement. "We entered our relationship with love and it's with love and kindness we leave it. While privacy isn't expected, it's certainly appreciated."

According to a source, Johansson initiated the split. The actress has started apartment-hunting in New York City and is currently in Jamaica with some girlfriends, the source adds.

However, last month the pair were spotted looking cozy together at New York hotspot Avenue.

Johansson, 26, and Reynolds, 34, tied the knot in a quiet September 2008 ceremony in a wilderness retreat in Vancouver, which is Reynolds's hometown. The ceremony was attended only by a handful of close family and friends – and no photos were released.

"It was my mission to have a moment of privacy, to do something for myself," Johansson told the Los Angeles Times of the hush-hush affair. "I was happy with the results of that."

The pair remained fairly mum about their relationship, only rarely giving up small tidbits about their married life.

But the actress told In Style in April 2010 that she enjoyed cooking for Reynolds – and her domestic life with him. "There's a nice comfort in that. That part of your life is certain, in a way. You've got your home in that other person."

Reynolds, who is People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, said that the best thing about married life was, "You get to hang out with your best buddy every day."

People's Sexiest Man Alive: Ryan Reynolds

Sure, his chiseled abs have caused millions to swoon, but this year's Sexiest Man Alive Ryan Reynolds loves to keep them laughing.

"My body naturally wants to look like Dick Van Dyke," says the 6'2" actor, who suits up as the Green Lantern next year. "When I stop training, I turn into a skin-colored whisper."

We doubt that. From growing up the youngest of four brothers in Canada to being the funny guy in films like The Proposal, Reynolds has learned to take everything in stride. "You just have to go with the flow," he says of his new title. "This gives my family entre into teasing me for the rest of my life. "
The actor does expect a few new perks at home with his wife of two years, Scarlett Johansson. "Now it's going to be, 'Sexiest man, take out the garbage.' That does sound better," Reynolds says. "The most difficult part is going to be organically working this title into a conversation with random strangers."

For more of his interview and photos of Reynolds – including more than 100 sexy men – pick up this week’s issue of PEOPLE on newsstands Friday.

Ryan Reynolds Survives Hair Loss & Wrong Vacation

Apparently, not even claustrophobia can take away from Ryan Reynolds's good looks.

Before he gets into super-hero shape for next summer's The Green Lantern, he's starring in the white-knuckle thriller Buried, playing an abducted American truck driver in Iraq who awakens to find himself buried six feet under.

"All of the physical injuries are like souvenirs," the actor, 33, tells Parade for this weekend's issue. Among those "souvenirs" that would break a lesser man: a tiny bald patch.

"But the emotional stuff is harder," he says. "When you're spending 17 straight days in a heightened state of anxiety and panic, it's not very good for your nervous system, so you walk away pretty jittery. I definitely struggled with a lot of insomnia when I was working on this film and that was something that was new to me."

To unwind after the brief but grueling shoot, he decided against taking one of his typical Amazing Race-like, strenuous vacations.

"I had planned your standard kind of lay down on a beach somewhere and try to not do anything but maybe read a book," he says, "and that didn't work out so well because what I didn't think of in advance would be that I would be lying on sand yet again. So I did actually go to the place I was supposed to be vacationing at and I stayed for six hours and then just went home."

Ryan Reynolds & Bradley Cooper to Buddy Up

Ryan Reynolds and Bradley Cooper will soon share more than rugged good looks. They'll split top billing on a buddy movie that's being described as an edgier, R-rated version of the Lethal Weapon series.

The actors, both strong candidates for the title of People magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, will play cops in the as-yet-untitled action-comedy, in which they recruit their fathers – former police officers themselves – to crack a case, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Both leading men have been exploring the action side of Hollywood lately, with Cooper, 35, recently starring in The A-Team and Reynolds, 33, playing the title role in the upcoming superhero picture Green Lantern.

Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds May Reunite for New Movie

It looks like Sandra Bullock is keeping true to her promise that she isn't going anywhere.

The actress is attached to an upcoming project that could team her up with Ryan Reynolds – who costarred with her in The Proposal – for the action comedy Most Wanted, Universal Pictures and Mandeville Films announced Monday.

"The project is currently in development and she is looking forward to reading the script," says Bullock's rep.

The studio and production company closed a deal with Proposal screenwriter Peter Chiarelli for the upcoming film, which centers around a criminal suspect (which could be played by Bullock) who is escorted to court by an FBI agent (Reynolds) when they are ambushed on the way and forced to go on the run.

Reynolds will be an executive producer and Universal is currently in negotiations to bring Proposal director Anne Fletcher on board for the project.

Broadway’s Nick Adams Talks About Abs!

Broadwat hottie, Nick Adams, was recently interviewed by UInterview about his awesome body and he had plenty to share about it, as well as, about other celebrity hunks.

Nick is best known for his performances in shows as A Chorus Line and Guys and Dolls.

Nick explains why chiseled abs have become all the rage: “We’re genetically attracted to it. It’s like a peacock with beautiful feathers. Women with large breasts, men are attracted to that. With abs, it’s something that’s very prominent, it’s a sign of strength and health, and I think anyone would be attracted to that. And it has just become a point of obsession with men. All these health magazines, shirtless guys with chiseled stomachs, and in the last five to ten years have really become an obsession. You look at photos from 30 years ago, people didn’t spend as much time developing their stomach as they do now.”

Nick is asked to rate the 10 men who readers have voted as having the best abs of the decade. Here is some of what he had to say about some of the dudes:

Matthew McConaughey: I’m a huge fan of because he has great abs, and he’s always shirtless, and he always looks flawless. His body is always in perfect shape. Yeah, just no matter what lighting he’s in or where he is, he is always without his shirt and his abs look amazing.

David Beckham: He just looks like he’s in shape from soccer. He’s a great athlete, it doesn’t really look like he goes to the gym much, I think that’s just from his job. But you can see from his Armani underwear ads, he definitely has a nice body.

Ryan Reynolds: Ryan Reynolds is definitely top of my list. His body especially in that movie Amityville Horror is unbelievable. That was a lot of time at the gym and dedication. All around physique, for me, my number one pick. His abs are ridiculous.

Taylor Lautner and Zac Efron: To me, they still look like a kids. I didn’t look like that when I was their age, so I gotta hand it to them. It’s hard really have a cut body at that age, but I don’t think they hold a candle to the other men on the list, in my opinion. … If somebody wants a skinny, well not a skinny, but a lean, sort of boyish physique they definitely look great.

Mario Lopez and Jake Gyllenhaal are two guys who didn’t make the top 10 but Nick thinks they should have: Well, I mean [laughs] Mario Lopez [who he worked with in A Chorus Line] does have an amazing set of abs, I can tell you from seeing them first-hand, he has a great stomach. Jake Gyllenhaal boasts a great body, but he’s not on here.

Ryan Reynolds Shirtless for Entertainment Weekly

Ryan Reynolds goes shirtless on the upcoming cover of Entertainment Weekly — snorkeling gear and water wings included!

And that’s just one of the four HOT HOT HOT covers! Since the 32-year-old Canadian actor is featured in the “Must List” issue, he shared some of his favorite things:

On his Must TV Show, A&E’s Intervention: “Real schadenfreude stuff. The first season or two is all about alcoholics and heroin addicts, but then as the seasons progress, they feel the need to sensationalize it a bit. So by Season 5, you get to people who are chemically unable to experience joy unless they’re smoking a cat, or something equally disturbing. I love it.”

His Must Scapegoat For The Moral Decline Of Modern Society: “I find that whole situation to be horrible and awful. I wanna see Jon & Kate Plus Eight: The Musical. Jon versus Kate. I wanna see four kids on one side and for kids on the other, snapping menacingly to music as they walk toward one another.”

On his sex symbol status: “Really embarrassing. I think I fear more than anything just sounding like a complete a–hole when I have to answer that question. If you take any of that seriously, you need to be euthanized, ASAP.”

Ryan’s upcoming comedy, The Proposal, opens This Friday (June 19th). Sandra Bullock and Betty White also star. Watch it this weekend, it’s goooooood!

Ryan Reynolds Reveals Sandra Bullock 'Looks Terrific Naked'

What are some things about Sandra Bullock you wouldn't know just by looking at her? "She's a catalog of old hip-hop tunes – it's incredible," reveals her Proposal costar Ryan Reynolds. "And she looks terrific naked."

The longtime pals – they even vacation together with spouses Jesse James, 40, and Scarlett Johansson, 24 – let it all hang out in the romantic comedy, out June 19th. In the movie they play a boss from hell and her long-suffering assistant whose relationship changes when she schemes to avoid deportation to her native Canada.

Bullock, 44, and Reynolds, 32, sat down with People to laugh about the movie, each other and about baring it all.

You've known each other for a while. How has fame changed Ryan?

Bullock: The person I met years ago [through a friend] is the same person sitting next to me now. No change in the humility, talent, kindness. He could've become an ass----. But not a damn thing has changed, other than that his bikes get more expensive.

Reynolds: I think you have to start that way. Fame only amplifies a certain disposition.

Bullock: I agree. Unless you're a child in the industry and that's all you know. That's a sad, sad thing.

Reynolds: There's nothing worse than hearing a 6-year-old demand Voss water. I've seen it.

You and Jesse and Scarlett are all close. Why do you get along so well?

Reynolds: [To Bullock] I love that your marriage – and forgive the ineloquence here – is not for sale.

Bullock: We're very similar in that way. There's an honor and a level of integrity that exists in their home that I really admire ... [To Reynolds] I'm just happy you found a good human being. They both take excellent care of each other and they're honorable, beautiful people.

Speaking of beauty, you two are quite naked in that one scene. How was it to film?

Bullock: I'd never done one before. [To Reynolds] You?

Reynolds: I've done a couple where I've ... yeah, a little bit.

Bullock: Were they like sex scenes?

Reynolds: I don't think I've ever done one that wasn't supposed to be funny.

It's not just a nude scene. You're literally smushed up against each other.

Reynolds: Yeah – nudity and stunts. Not usually synonymous.

Comfort level aside, you'd cover up between takes, right?

Reynolds: I wasn't grazing at the snack bar without pants.

Bullock: Next to [costar] Betty White.

Reynolds: Yeah, I didn't go have lunch with Betty.

Pop quiz: what's his or her drink of choice?

Bullock: Whiskey – an old-school man drink.

Reynolds: Sandy will drink a glass of red wine. And not like the crazy expensive kind.

How does he or she take coffee?

Bullock: He takes his with cream or milk.

Reynolds: She's a green tea girl.

So working together was a good experience?

Reynolds: This kind of chemistry and fireworks ... there's nothing you can do to manufacture it, or edit it together. It's just there or it's not. And to have that every day was literally like driving a Ferrari around on set.

For more of Bullock and Reynolds's banter – on their significant others, his Canadian roots, and her love affair with a certain sweet treat – pick up this week's People, on newsstands now.

Ryan Reynolds: The Truth About Nude Scenes

Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock let it all hang out in their new movie, The Proposal – literally.

The pair, who play co-workers pretending to be an engaged couple, found themselves filming completely in the buff during a rollicking nude sequence, which started out "awkward," but ended up just being business as usual, according to Reynolds.

"Filming a scene that involves being entirely naked and takes a couple days can be a little awkward," the actor, 32, told People. "Thankfully you're there for so long and you're doing it for so long that you dispense with the awkwardness pretty quickly and start to have mundane, normal conversations – the difference being you're not wearing pants."

The movie's director, Anne Fletcher, was set on making the scene as funny – and realistic – as possible.

"The naked scene in the movie was a lot of fun," she told People. "We had a great time doing it. It was the only scene that I ended up rehearsing because I really wanted to shoot them completely naked."

Reynolds and Bullock's moves were expertly choreographed, but the rehearsals tended to get silly, says Fletcher. "We had so much fun laughing at just the possibilities of what we could get away with."

As for Bullock, she credits Reynolds with making her look good. "You know why I looked hot?" she tells Glamour magazine. "Because everyone was looking at Ryan. Our stuff was hanging in each other's faces, and we didn't care."

Asked about being a sex symbol – he also flashes his very buff bod in the Wolverine – Reynolds told People that all attention makes him feel shy.

"I don't really think of myself in any particular way, shape or form that involves being known as sexy," he says. "If I did, I would probably be just like a certified ass----. But for the most part, it's flattering and incredibly sweet, I think."

The Proposal opens June 19.

Star Sighting: Limited Engagement

After stopping by Sunday's MTV Movie Awards, Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock reunite for another red carpet Monday at the Los Angeles premiere of their movie The Proposal. The romantic comedy hits theaters June 19.

Ryan Reynolds to Reprise Deadpool in "X-Men" Spin-off

Fresh off the muscular box-office performance of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine," one of the film's characters is headed for a movie of his own.

20th Century Fox is developing a spin-off featuring Deadpool, the wise-cracking mercenary played in the film by Ryan Reynolds.

In "Deadpool," Reynolds will reprise the "merc with a mouth," known for his slapstick tone and propensity to break the fourth wall.

It is understood that the character would regain the ability to mouth off, after having suffered a setback in "Wolverine." Deadpool also was disfigured in the current film, but it's unclear how much the studio would want to mess with Reynolds' handsome mug in the new feature.

Fox considered a "Deadpool" spin-off early in "Wolverine's" development process, and cast Reynolds with that possibility in mind.

Reynolds, onscreen in the ensemble coming-of-age movie "Adventureland," next stars opposite Sandra Bullock in Disney's romantic comedy "The Proposal."

Meet the Hunks of X-Men Origins: Wolverine

It technically may not yet be summer, but the heat is on as X-Men Origins: Wolverine kicks off summer blockbuster season May 1 – thanks to Hugh Jackman's chest, Ryan Reynolds's biceps and smoldering turns from, among others, a TV football player and a Korean movie idol. Here's your guide to the sexy mutants:

NAME: Hugh Jackman
CHARACTER: Logan, a.k.a. Wolverine
WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HIM BEFORE: The first three X-Men films; PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive 2008

PEOPLE's reigning Sexiest Man beefs up for every X-Men role, but this time he took his training even further. The Aussie heartthrob started working out a year before shooting began and stuck to a high-protein diet. "I work out imagining I'm Wolverine," Jackman told Access Hollywood. "Wolverine to me is the guy that when everybody else quits, that's where he begins." The result: lots of bare-chested sceen time showcasing his rippling muscles and a naked scene that reveals (almost) all. His prep work was so successful, says Reynolds, that Jackman, 40, "looked a lot like a guy who was going to make a necklace out of my teeth."

NAME: Liev Schreiber
CHARACTER: Victor Creed, a.k.a. Sabretooth
WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HIM BEFORE: Scream 1-3; CBS's CSI
NEXT UP: Currently filming Salt with Angelina Jolie

The bloodthirsty brother of Jackman's Wolverine, Schreiber's husky-voiced Sabretooth moves like a cat despite his hulking frame. How'd he bulk up for the role of a mutant with super-healing powers, razor-sharp claws and animal-like senses? "Fans [online] said, 'you need to get bigger,'" says Schreiber, 41, who's married to actress Naomi Watts. "I did the high protein diet; between [me and Jackman] I think we wiped out an entire gene pool of chickens."

NAME: Ryan Reynolds
CHARACTER: Wade Wilson, a.k.a. Deadpool
WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HIM BEFORE: 2008's Definitely, Maybe; TV's Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place
NEXT UP: The Proposal with Sandra Bullock

Not content to be your garden-variety superhero, Reynolds shows off his guns in sleeveless t-shirts while infusing the character with his usual brand of cheeky, poker-faced humor. Deadpool, he says, is "a cross between Commando and Phantom of the Opera by way of Caddyshack." (Huh?) Reynolds trained for countless hours with katana swords to get ready for the role, and no doubt to wife Scarlett Johansson's great relief, escaped some close calls to very personal areas. "You're gonna wanna wear pants for that," Reynolds, 32, deadpans. "I honestly just about lost my 'future legacy' a couple of times."
NAME: Taylor Kitsch
CHARACTER: Remy LeBeau, a.k.a. Gambit
WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HIM BEFORE: NBC's Friday Night Lights
UP NEXT: He's filming The Bang Bang Club with Ryan Philippe
The Canadian hunk, 28, plays a mutant with attitude in the film. But, he says, he had to fake it – for a while, anyway. "When I first got there [I was] nervous," Kitsch says. "And when I ... met [Jackman], it was really great." To get psyched up to play a New Orleans thief with a gift for killer card-throwing, Kitsch turned on his iPod and listened to the bluesy "John Lee Hooker – all the time," he says.

NAME: Will.i.am
CHARACTER: John Wraith
WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HIM BEFORE: Grooving with his Black Eyed Peas bandmates

Hip-hop star Will.i.am makes no bones about it – going from musician to mutant was a challenge. On the plane to Australia to begin filming, he suddenly realized he was on his own. "I tour with my friends, [and] here I am going for the first time to do the total opposite of what I normally do," he says. But taking on powers of teleportation and joining Team X with the other mutants was great fun for Will.i.am, 34, who told MTV News of Wraith: "He's just a badass who'll whoop [you]."

NAME: Daniel Henney
CHARACTER: David North, a.k.a. Agent Zero
WHERE YOU'VE SEEN HIM BEFORE: He's a major movie star in Korea; Wolverine is his U.S. breakthrough role

A former model, Michigan native Henney has been nurturing his acting career in Seoul, Korea for the past few years, where his brooding good looks have given female fans heart palpitations and made him a household name. As lethal marksman Agent Zero, Henney, 29, is ice-cold – and plenty hot – in his relentless pursuit of Wolverine.
