Matthew McConaughey Cleans Up for New Dolce & Gabbana Ad

We never had any doubt that beneath Matthew McConaughey‘s California-cool demeanor beat the heart of a gentleman–and the actor’s newest gig proves just how debonair he can be.

Looking red-carpet ready in an elegant tux, Matthew fronts the campaign for Dolce & Gabbana’s newest scent, The One Gentleman.

“A gentleman has respect for himself, that is the basis of his respect and consideration for others,” he explains of the inspiration behind the new scent. “He has a strength and grace that translates into how he moves, how he makes a decision, or even how he holds himself still and says nothing at all.”

And while the ad, shot by Jean Baptiste Mondino, won’t be hitting magazines until October, we have this exclusive sneak peek.

This isn’t the actor’s first time in front of the camera for the beauty brand, having launched the original The One men’s scent in 2008.

The new juice, which contains notes of pepper, grapefruit, fennel, patchouli and vanilla, will begin rolling out at the end of this month and will be available nationwide in October. Prices begin at $42 for a 30 ml eau de toilette.

Broadway’s Nick Adams Talks About Abs!

Broadwat hottie, Nick Adams, was recently interviewed by UInterview about his awesome body and he had plenty to share about it, as well as, about other celebrity hunks.

Nick is best known for his performances in shows as A Chorus Line and Guys and Dolls.

Nick explains why chiseled abs have become all the rage: “We’re genetically attracted to it. It’s like a peacock with beautiful feathers. Women with large breasts, men are attracted to that. With abs, it’s something that’s very prominent, it’s a sign of strength and health, and I think anyone would be attracted to that. And it has just become a point of obsession with men. All these health magazines, shirtless guys with chiseled stomachs, and in the last five to ten years have really become an obsession. You look at photos from 30 years ago, people didn’t spend as much time developing their stomach as they do now.”

Nick is asked to rate the 10 men who readers have voted as having the best abs of the decade. Here is some of what he had to say about some of the dudes:

Matthew McConaughey: I’m a huge fan of because he has great abs, and he’s always shirtless, and he always looks flawless. His body is always in perfect shape. Yeah, just no matter what lighting he’s in or where he is, he is always without his shirt and his abs look amazing.

David Beckham: He just looks like he’s in shape from soccer. He’s a great athlete, it doesn’t really look like he goes to the gym much, I think that’s just from his job. But you can see from his Armani underwear ads, he definitely has a nice body.

Ryan Reynolds: Ryan Reynolds is definitely top of my list. His body especially in that movie Amityville Horror is unbelievable. That was a lot of time at the gym and dedication. All around physique, for me, my number one pick. His abs are ridiculous.

Taylor Lautner and Zac Efron: To me, they still look like a kids. I didn’t look like that when I was their age, so I gotta hand it to them. It’s hard really have a cut body at that age, but I don’t think they hold a candle to the other men on the list, in my opinion. … If somebody wants a skinny, well not a skinny, but a lean, sort of boyish physique they definitely look great.

Mario Lopez and Jake Gyllenhaal are two guys who didn’t make the top 10 but Nick thinks they should have: Well, I mean [laughs] Mario Lopez [who he worked with in A Chorus Line] does have an amazing set of abs, I can tell you from seeing them first-hand, he has a great stomach. Jake Gyllenhaal boasts a great body, but he’s not on here.

Matthew McConaughey & Camila Alves Welcome Daughter Vida

It's a girl for Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves!

Daughter Vida Alves McConaughey arrived Sunday, January 3rd at 12:13 am, Matthew announced on his website. She weighed in at 7 lbs., 7 oz and joins big brother Levi, 17 months.

" 'Vida' is Portuguese for 'life' and that's what God gave us this morning," the actor blogged. "Camila's recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all of your well wishes and prayers along the way, another blessed day, we give thanks."

McConaughey, 40, and Alves, 26, announced the pregnancy in June, blogging, "We pulled off the greatest miracle in the world one more time. Camila and I are expecting our second child, bringing more life into the world, making more to live for. The future looks bright as the family grows."

The couple, who began dating in 2006, chose not to find out the sex of the baby prior to delivery, just as they did with Levi. McConaughey encouraged fans to guess, however.

"Not sure if it’s a boy or girl but we have our instincts," he wrote. "What are you thinking?"

Wonder if their instincts proved correct.

Matthew McConaughey Fattens Up for New Role

Hollywood heartthrob Matthew McConaughey is giving up his famously muscular physique to play an overweight fighter in a new movie.

The actor is regularly caught by photographers topless on the beach or working out semi-nude near his California home.

His toned body has earned him a strong female following - but the 39-year-old has revealed he's swapping muscles for flab for new film The Grackle.

And McConaughey is already poised for the inevitable paparazzi shots of him looking out of shape. He says, "When I go to do The Grackle and put on 20 pounds, they're going to go, 'What happened?'"

He adds of his character, "It's set on Bourbon Street, New Orleans, and he's down there eating it all and drinking it all and smoking it all."

But the actor admits he's looking forward to letting it all go: "I'll eat more cheeseburgers. That's my favourite food. Man who invented the hamburger was smart; man who invented the cheeseburger was a genius."

Matthew McConaughey Not Planning to Wed Anytime Soon

Perpetual Hollywood bachelor Matthew McConaughey says that when it comes to marriage, why fix it if it ain't broke?

"It's just not something I plan on doing right now, and that I feel like I need to do right now," the actor, 39, said on the subject at a Los Angeles press gathering for his new romantic comedy, Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.

"It's not an institution I'm against at all," he added. "I'm actually for it, believe in it and have seen it actually be very, very healthy for many relationships. Some people go through it some great ways." His final word on marriage (for now): "I don't have any plans for it."

His costar, Jennifer Garner, having a little fun when the subject came up prior to McConaughey’s marriage remarks, teased, "The rule with marriage is the less you talk about it the better, as far as I can tell."

During the making of the movie, McConaughey's girlfriend, Camila Alves was pregnant with the couple's son, Levi, now 8 months old. The proud papa did admit that he was often inspired on the set by watching Garner, a working mother of two – with husband Ben Affleck. Their daughters, now 3 years old and 3 months old, respectively, are Violet and Seraphina.

Said McConaughey, "After now having a child, [I see] it was very seamless how [Jennifer] handled being a parent and being an actress." Addressing Garner directly, he said, "You made it seem very seamless."

Garner quipped back that having two kids is "happy chaos." Sharing parental duties with Affleck, she explained, involves organization. "I have help and I have the support that I need. I have a great partner in raising kids and he’s super involved and there with me."

Then, willing to step into the McConaughey household, Garner said, "Please, can I have Camila's direct line? Because I would love to talk to her about this.'"

Star Sighting: Shopping with Daddy McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey with Son Levi Alves McConaughey sighted shopping recently in Los Angeles, California.

It's a Man's World:
Monday Morning Man, Matthew McConaughey!

So here is Matthew McConaughey, an actor you have surely seen either on screen or in one of the gazillion paparazzi photos taken of him as he jogs around town shirtless or is surfing in Malibu. He’s a guy who seems to live his life to the fullest.

But Matthew’s movie career has its ebbs and flows. For every hit like How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Failure to Launch and A Time to Kill, there are truly awful bombs like Surfer, Dude and Fool’s Gold. My favorite McConaughey movie ever is "The Wedding Planner" with Jennifer Lopez.

He’s got his next gig lined up. Variety reports that he will star as a low-level criminal defense attorney, Mickey Haller, in the thriller ‘The Lincoln Lawyer." In the film, his character represents a wealthy client who is connected to a murder case that he once handled.

But before that, his latest film, "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past", has him starring alongside leading lady Jennifer Garner and is set to his theaters May 1st.

McConaughey and his Brazilian girlfriend Camila Alves are proud parents of a beautiful son named Levi Alves McConaughey who was born on July 7, 2008 in Los Angeles.

I'm sure many of you wouldn't mind calling him Daddy anytime!
