Sean Faris has landed the lead in drama pilot for The CW called The Wyoming Project.
The show was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino, who is best known as the creator and executive producer of Gilmore Girls. According to THR, Sean, 27, will play Gideon Thorpe, a horse trainer who becomes the patriarch of a Wyoming ranch responsible for his three younger sisters after their parents die.
In other pilot news, Rachael Leigh Cook has also been tapped as the lead on Fox’s comedy pilot Nirvana.
Nirvana revolves around “two grown Indian-American brothers who clash with their controlling immigrant parents as they assimilate American culture, particularly one son, who lives with a white girlfriend (Cook).”
