
The former James Bond actor teamed up with Meryl Streep and Colin Firth for the 2008 blockbuster and movie producers were reportedly keen to cash in on its popularity with a second installment.
Last year Streep admitted she was doubtful plans for a sequel would ever come into fruition, saying, "I heard that they were talking about it, but I am not sure it's real."
And now Brosnan appears to have lost interest.

The movie grossed more than $573 million across the globe upon its release in 2008.
