Palin, meanwhile, makes a return appearance, having been featured on Walters's 2009 list as well.
Walters has chosen a woman as her overall Most Interesting Person in each of the past five years: Michelle Obama (2009), Tina Fey (2008), J.K. Rowling (2007), Nancy Pelosi (2006) and Camilla Parker Bowles (2005).

Levi Johnston Says No to Palin Thanksgiving
There'll be an extra drumstick at the Palin house next week: Sarah's could-have-been-son-in-law Levi Johnston likely won't be sitting down with the family for the Thanksgiving feast. The former VP candidate and Alaska governor, 45, had extended Johnston, 19, the holiday invite to the family compound on Lake Lucille in Wasilla when she appeared on TV with Oprah Winfrey to promote her new memoir, Going Rogue: An American Life. Palin told the talk-show queen, "It's lovely to think that he would ever even consider such a thing.”
The teen reportedly told Playgirl, for whom he has posed, that this was "a nice gesture, but she didn't mean it." The nude model also said having dinner with the Palins would be "awkward."
Furthermore, when Johnston was asked about the former governor's disappointment that he recently shed his clothes for Playgirl, which she termed "porn," Johnston told E! Online, "You know what, I don't care if she sees them … Who cares about what she says or does? I don't care."
Johnston also recently announced plans to file for joint custody of her 10-month old grandson Tripp, whom he had with Palin daughter Bristol, 19.

Sarah Palin Slams Levi Johnston as 'Ricky Hollywood' on 'Oprah'
Sarah Palin may have half-heartedly invited Levi Johnston to join her family for Thanksgiving, but that hasn't stopped her from trash-talking him in her highly-publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey. Predictably, the subject of Levi's upcoming Playgirl spread was raised, and Palin didn't hold back her comments. She said: "I call that porn, yes. So it’s a bit heartbreaking to see the road that he's on right now. By the way, I don't know if we call him Levi -- I hear he goes by the name ‘Ricky Hollywood’ now -- so, if that’s the case, we don’t want to mess up this gig he's got going. Kind of this aspiring, aspiring porn -- the things that he's doing. It's kind of heartbreaking."
Palin may call it porn, but not everyone would agree: As it turns out, the shoot won't be full-frontal, as previously reported. Palin's "Ricky Hollywood" reference comes from a recent interview Levi gave to the Daily Beast, in which he and his manager Tank Jones came up with the alter ego. You see, Levi isn't really the guy you see going on talk shows and wearing flashy clothing -- that's just his entertainment persona.
In the article, Tank said, "What we did was, we came up with an alter ego, Ricky Hollywood. Ricky Hollywood would iron his shirt.”
Levi replied, "Yeah, right! OK, well, I’d iron it. He doesn’t know how to iron." Huh?

Levi Johnston to Sue for Joint Custody of Son Tripp
The man who was almost Sarah Palin's son-in-law will pursue legal action to gain joint custody of his son with Bristol Palin, according to reports.Levi Johnston, 19, is the father of 10-month-old Tripp with his ex-girlfriend Bristol, the daughter of the former Alaska governor. The two were engaged to be married, but broke off their relationship in March.
Johnston is seeking joint custody at the end of the month because the Palin family is allegedly making it difficult for him to see his son, he told The Insider.
"It's not working. I'm done," he said. "It's going to have to go to court. They just finally pushed me over the edge."
The relationship between Johnston and the Palins has taken a particularly nasty turn in the last few weeks, with Johnston calling Sarah Palin a hypocrite, and Palin lambasting him for his upcoming nude pictorial in Playgirl.
The Palin camp did not respond to requests for comment. Sarah Palin's lawyer, Thomas Van Flein, told Britain's The Guardian newspaper on October 30th, "Other than noting that Tripp's father is always welcome to visit his son, we are unable to respond to these allegations as it is inappropriate to discuss child custody matters publicly."

Sarah Palin Resigns as Alaska Governor
Sarah Palin announced Friday that she will resign as Alaska governor later this month. She made no mention about pursuing another office, but there has been speculation she is considering a run at U.S. Senate or the presidency."It hurts to make this choice but I'm doing what's best for Alaska," she said in speech from the backyard of her Wasilla home with husband Todd and children Piper, Bristol and Willow at her side. "You can effect change from the outside, and I can too."
She also said that her year-old son Trig, who has Down syndrome, needs her at home more.
Palin, 45, came out of nowhere last summer when the little-known governor was chosen to run with Republican presidential nominee John McCain.
Widely lampooned by Saturday Night Live and other shows during the race, Palin recently tangled with David Letterman after he made off-color jokes about her trip to New York with her 14-year-old daughter Willow.
Lt. Gov Sean Parnell will take over the leadership of the state, which elected Palin as its first female governor in 2006.
"We know we can effect positive change outside government," Palin said. "I know the time when its time to pass the ball for victory. Trust me with this decision."
While she will not seek reelection for Alaska governor in 2010, there has been talk she may make a bid for the White House in 2012, and pundits have speculated she may make run for the U.S. Senate – one of Alaska's two Senate seats is up for grabs in 2010.
"This comes as no surprise," says UC Santa Cruz professor Geoffrey Dunn, a political analyst who is writing a book about Palin due out later this year. "Palin clearly was detached and ineffective as governor since the 2008 presidential campaign. The day-to-day challenges of running a state simply did not mesh with her skill set or her personality. More importantly, she couldn't run for president from Wasilla."

Will Ferrell "Endorses" John McCain on SNL
Just like in real life, however, the faux McCain did all he could to distance himself from the unpopular president.
In Thursday, October 23rd special edition of SNL, Ferrell spoke about the election between McCain and Barack Obama -- both candidates, he said, that are "heavily patriotized" and "display much characterization."
He then gave his endorsement to McCain and Palin, something that they apparently didn't want. Ferrell said he was unaware that his approval ratings were low because he had several months ago declared the Oval Office a "bummer free zone."
Speaking to Fey again appearing as Palin, Ferrell informed her that her role as vice president was "the most important in the land" and that the "president can do nothing without checking with the vice president." Fey corrected him that he had it backward.
Eventually Darrell Hammond as McCain turned up to reluctantly receive the endorsement.
The sketch between Ferrell and Fey was the meeting of the two of the most popular political impressions in the show's history. It might have been complete only if Chevy Chase stopped by as Gerald Ford, Dana Carvey appeared as H.W. Bush and Amy Poehler joined as Hillary Clinton.
An alum to the NBC comedy show, Ferrell was the latest guest star to make an appearance on "SNL," which has seen its ratings soar this election season. Fey has become a virtual cast member again, thanks to the popularity of her Palin impression, while other surprise guests have included Chris Parnell, Bill Murray, Mark Wahlberg, Alec Baldwin and Queen Latifah.
Ferrell, a regular on "SNL" from 1995-2006, will in January begin a solo show on Broadway titled "You're Welcome America: A Final Night with George W. Bush.
So remember...a vote for John McCain is a vote for George Bush. Vote for a change...Vote for Obama/Biden!

RNC Spends Thousands on Palin Clothes
The Republican National Committee has spent more than $150,000 to clothe and accessorize vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin and her family since her surprise pick by John McCain in late August.According to financial disclosure records, the accessorizing began in early September and included bills from Saks Fifth Avenue in St. Louis and New York for a combined $49,425.74.
The records also document a couple of big-time shopping trips to Neiman Marcus in Minneapolis, including one $75,062.63 spree in early September.
The RNC also spent $4,716.49 on hair and makeup through September after reporting no such costs in August.
The cash expenditures immediately raised questions among campaign finance experts about their legality under the Federal Election Commission's long-standing advisory opinions on using campaign cash to purchase items for personal use.
Politico asked the McCain campaign for comment, explicitly noting the $150,000 in expenses for department store shopping and makeup consultation that were incurred immediately after Palin’s announcement. Pre-September reports do not include similar costs.
Spokeswoman Maria Comella declined to answer specific questions about the expenditures, including whether it was necessary to spend that much and whether it amounted to one early investment in Palin or if shopping for the vice presidential nominee was ongoing.
“The campaign does not comment on strategic decisions regarding how financial resources available to the campaign are spent," she said. But hours after the story was posted on Politico's website and legal issues were raised, the campaign issued a new statement.
"With all of the important issues facing the country right now, it’s remarkable that we’re spending time talking about pantsuits and blouses," said spokeswoman Tracey Schmitt. "It was always the intent that the clothing go to a charitable purpose after the campaign."
The business of primping and dressing on the campaign trail has become fraught with political risk in recent years as voters increasingly see an elite Washington out of touch with their values and lifestyles.
In 2000, Democrat Al Gore took heat for changing his clothing hues. And in 2006, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (D-N.Y.) was ribbed for two hair styling sessions that cost about $3,000.
Then, there was Democrat John Edwards’ $400 hair cuts in 2007 and Republican McCain’s $520 black leather Ferragamo shoes this year.
A review of similar records for the campaign of Democrat Barack Obama and the Democratic National Committee turned up no similar spending. But all the spending by other candidates pales in comparison to the GOP outlay for the Alaska governor whose expensive, designer outfits have been the topic of fashion pages and magazines.
What hasn’t been apparent is where the clothes came from – her closet back in Wasilla or from the campaign coffers in Washington.
The answer can be found inside the RNC’s September monthly financial disclosure report under “itemized coordinated expenditures.” It’s a report that typically records expenses for direct mail, telephone calls and advertising. Those expenses do show up, but the report also has a new category of spending: “campaign accessories.”
September payments were also made to Barney’s New York ($789.72) and Bloomingdale’s New York ($5,102.71). Macy’s in Minneapolis, another store fortunate enough to be situated in the Twin Cities that hosted last summer’s Republican National Convention, received three separate payments totaling $9,447.71.
The entries also show two purchases at Pacifier, a top-notch baby store, suggesting $196 was spent to accommodate the littlest Palin to join the campaign trail.
An additional $4,902.45 was spent in early September at Atelier, a high-class shopping destination for men.

VIDEO: New SARAH PALIN Porno 'Nailin' Paylin' Coming from Hustler
This new Sarah Palin impersonation may be a little out of Tina Fey's league, but Hustler is due to release its own video starring a Sarah Palin look-alike titled 'Nailin' Paylin.' Undoubtedly set to be the most-watched porn flick in recent memory, flick was shot over the weekend in the Valley. The "new" naughty Sarah is porn star Lisa Ann (pictured), the self-professed "Mattress Actress." The plot, in short, is two drunk Russians are driving past Palin's home when they run out of gas. Mmmmm.... I haven't been so excited to see Het-sex in ages.
And what's more? To boot, there's also a threeway with Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice look-alikes. I dunno so much about that. But Sarah's pretty sexy, so doggone it, that sounds good to me.
TMZ's got some great shots and a vid clip from the, ahem, 'shoot.
Tina Fey's Saturday Night Live's impersonations have garnered so much attention, that the "real" Sarah Palin has decided to make a visit to "SNL." According to the New York Post's Cindy Adams, "She's booked. It's confirmed. Done deal. Sketches are being sketched as we speak. She - eyeglasses, haircomb, designer jacket and trunkful of gosh-darns, golly-gees and gol-dangs - will be on "SNL" Saturday night, Oct. 25. Sarah's rehearsal time has already been penciled in for Friday the 24th.
So, assuming that "Nailin' Paylin" gets the same ammount of attention, think the VP candidate will stop by Hustler's sets? MMM..... Anyway, reports of the porn first surfaced when an ad for a Palin-lookalike porn actress was posted on Craigslist. Now, get to know the new "Sarah," Lisa Ann, a little more in this clip:

Madonna Heckles Palin at NYC Concert
Madonna isn't "hung up" on Sarah Palin. The singer, 50, made repeated swipes at the Republican vice presidential candidate while performing her Sticky & Sweet Tour Tuesday at NYC's Madison Square Garden.
During her tune "I Love New York," Madonna told the audience - which included an enthusiastic Diddy, Rosie O'Donnell and designer Michael Kors - "you know who can get off of my street? Sarah Palin! I'm gonna kick her ass if she don't get off of my street!"
She then mocked the Alaska governor's accent, sarcastically telling the crowd, "I love her."
Later, while screeching her guitar, she made yet another crack: "This is the sound of Sarah Palin's husband's snowmobile when it won't start up in the wintertime." She then performed her hit "Hung Up."
Madonna also heckled Palin at her show Saturday at the Meadowlands in New Jersey, the New York Post reports.
She shouted: "Sarah Palin can't come to my party! Sarah Palin can't come to my show. It's nothing personal."

Finally...The Vice Presidential Debate
I am looking forward to sitting through this 90-minute "comedy" as "What's Her Face?" will be asked to answer questions from the moderator without being "coached" by anyone else. This 90-minute show will likely be as entertaining as the following Saturday Night Live segment from this past Saturday.
I cannot wait to watch her explode in front of what will likely be one of the biggest TV nights in history. It will probably have the largest viewership in the history of televised debates. I just feel sorry for Joe Biden as he will have to sit through that torture. I am sure it will be an interesting night.
Be smart and vote for the right choice!

Karen Walker...Our next Vice President?
So who's idea was it to select Karen Walker (Megan Mullally) from "Will & Grace" as the Republican party's choice for Vice Presidential candidate?
What was he thinking?
Megan Palin...I mean Sarah Mullally...sorry Sarah Karen Megan Palin Walker Mullally is not the right person to run this country. God forbid the US makes another 4 year mistake and elects John McCain as our next President and something should happen to him. Can you imagine the "Hockey Mom" representing our nation? What a joke!
