Spoiler Alert:
Did Kate Gosselin Get Bounced from Dancing?

And then there were seven.

After a night of performances — from the tango to the fox trot — to songs from movies like Risky Business, Pulp Fiction and The Breakfast Club, another star contestant and their pro partner were sent home Tuesday night on Dancing with the Stars.

And the results were...

It had been a struggle from Day One for Kate Gosselin, and now it’s finally over for the reality show mom of eight.

With a tissue in hand, she said, “To fans: Thank you for believing in me more than I believed in myself.”

Gosselin said that even though “I was scared to death most of the time,” she gave the show “my all,” and in the end, “It was a great experience.”

Her partner, Tony Dovolani, who famously sparred with her during practices, said, “I know she gets a lot of criticism. I give her all the credit in the world.”

Find Out Who’s Done on Dancing With the Stars

It’s the end of the road for another couple on Dancing With the Stars. After performing the waltz on Monday, Buzz Aldrin was sent home on Tuesday’s results show.

“I did this show for the fighter pilots, the military, the older geezers like me,” said the astronaut, who received a standing ovation from the audience. “I thank everyone who voted for me.”

He added: “This has been an experience I will never want to forget.”

Did Kate Gosselin Survive Dancing?

Despite low scores from the judges and criticism from her own dance partner, Kate Gosselin escaped elimination Tuesday night from Dancing With the Stars.

Instead, Shannen Doherty got the boot even though she and partner Mark Ballas performed a crowd-pleasing Jive as a show opener Monday.

“Dancing has never been my thing,” says the Charmed star. “It’s fitting. My partner is hurt, and I wouldn’t want to go on without him.”

Had Doherty not been bounced, Ballas was going to have to take a six-week break because of a serious leg injury.

Although Gosselin survived, the reality TV star, 35, has her work cut out for her. The mom of eight sparred with partner Tony Dovolani over his teaching methods during rehearsals Monday, with the dance pro so frustrated he threatened to quit.

They patched things up just in time to perform a Jive that judge Bruno Tonioli labeled “a disaster.”

Also getting to dance another round was 80-year-old Buzz Aldrin. The former astronaut and partner Ashly Costa landed at the bottom of the scoring pile Monday despite a warm audience response to their foxtrot.

Reality TV Stars Kate Gosselin & Jake Pavelka to Compete on Dancing with the Stars

Not only did America see Dallas pilot Jake Pavelka make a final decision on Monday night’s Bachelor season finale, but it was revealed that he and ten other celebrities — including Shannen Doherty and Pamela Anderson — have signed on to compete on season 10 of Dancing with the Stars.

“It’s fitting that in our landmark tenth season we’ve got many of the stars we’ve been chasing since season one to agree to take part,” Dancing executive producer Conrad Green said. “This has the potential to be the most memorable cast we’ve ever had.”

Astronaut Buzz Aldrin, reality star Kate Gosselin, Olympic gold medalist Evan Lysacek, and actresses Doherty and Anderson highlight the eclectic cast. Also readying to boogie in the ballroom are Pussycat Dolls star Nicole Scherzinger, soap star Aiden Turner, NFL star Chad Ochocinco, ESPN’s Erin Andrews, and actress-comedian Niecy Nash.

Bachelor spoilers ahead!

Dancing with the Star host Tom Bergeron and former Bachelor and Dancing contestant Melissa Rycroft revealed the cast throughout the Bachelor finale and the After The Final Rose special that aired Monday night on ABC.

Tom Bergeron's new co-host, now that Samanth Harris has left the show, has not been revealed. Rycroft is one of the leading candidates for the co-staring role. No word yet as to when we will find out who will be Bergeron's co-host.

Pavelka, who got engaged to 23-year-old Vienna Girardi on the finale, told People magazine last October, “I’m a huge salsa dancer.” But can he rumba?

Fans will find out when the new Dancing season kicks off March 22nd on ABC.

Jon Gosselin Halts Divorce & Production on TLC’s Kate Plus 8

On the heels of learning he was dropped from the TLC reality show Jon and Kate Plus 8, and that the show would be renamed Kate Plus 8, and focus on Kate’s role as a single mom, Jon Gosselin put the brakes on his divorce and put TLC on notice to “cease and desist” any television production of the show.

Gosselin came forward with an apology for his post-split behavior, and filed paperwork to halt the divorce proceedings for 90 days. The decision was not an “emotional or romantic decision,” nor an attempt to reconcile with Kate, but part of a “legal and PR strategy,” according to sources.

A notice sent to TLC lawyers on the same day of the network’s announcement that the show would be renamed states:

“Effective immediately no production crews are to enter Jon Gosselin’s family home for any reason. In the event that anyone enters the marital property, Jon Gosselin will notify the local authority to effectuate Police action against any trespassers.”

Thursday morning, a sign was posted on the gate of the Gosselin family home in Wernersville, PA, reading:

NOTICE
NO FILM CREW OR
PRODUCTION STAFF
FROM TLC IS
PERMITTED ON THIS
PROPERTY UNDER
PENALTY OF TRESPASS

JONATHON GOSSELIN

Gosselin’s attorney Mark Jay Heller explains that Jon is concerned the show is affecting the well-being of his children, and that the children are not being compensated.

Funny how he wasn’t worried about how it was affecting his children’s well-being and lack of compensation prior to being dropped from the show, when he was jet-setting with his rotating girlfriends.

Jon Gosselin Dropped from Jon & Kate Plus 8

In a stunning announcement, TLC said Tuesday morning that as of November 2nd Jon Gosselin would no longer appear on the popular reality series Jon & Kate Plus 8 — and the program would undergo a name change, to simply Kate Plus 8.

“Given Jon’s recent antics, there was no way the show could continue to portray him as a doting Dad, not while all this other crap was going on,” a source close to Jon Gosselin said.

“Jon will still be seen on the show from time to time,” the source adds.

The series first debuted on April 16, 2007, and experienced a ratings spike once the Gosselin marriage became troubled earlier this year. This past season the couple announced they would divorce.

The fifth season premiere attracted a record 9.8 million viewers, making it the most-watched show of that evening including those on broadcast TV.

But after a six-week hiatus from new episodes, only 4.2 million viewers tuned in to see Jon & Kate on August 3rd, and only 1.7 million reportedly watched last Monday.

Kate Gosselin recently completed a stint as a guest host of The View, sitting in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck during her maternity leave.

Gosselin has also reportedly taped a pilot for a talk show costarring Food Network star Paula Deen.

Kathy Griffin's "Kate is Enough" Video from Jimmy Kimmel Live

Comedian Kathy Griffin sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night on his late night show and told him about a new ‘movie’ project that she has completed. Entitled Kate is Enough, it is a parody of the mother of eight Kate Gosselin. Griffin enlisted the help of actor George Takei to play the role of Jon Gosselin and child actors to play the children.

The spoof is a takeoff of the TLC reality show Jon & Kate Plus 8. Kathy sports a Kate wig and her character catches Jon red handed with a girlfriend.

View the Kimmel video below, which includes the Kate is Enough footage at the 3:20 mark on the video slider.
