A Naked Cowboy President in 2012?

Robert Burck, New York's famous naked cowboy, is running for president in 2012. The official announcement is on his Web site, with imagery vaguely reminiscent of President Obama's trademark red white and blue sunrise from the 2008 campaign.

It's not yet known if the world-famous busker will campaign in just his underwear, a cowboy hat and a guitar, his trademark uniform on the streets of New York City, where's he's been singing and dancing for decades.

This won't be the first time the Naked Cowboy's thrown his hat in the political rodeo. According to the Associated Press, Burck ran for mayor of New York City in 2009. He also majored in political science at the University of Cincinnati.

The "Reverend Naked Cowboy" also performs marriages in Times Square, starting at $499.

When reached for comment, the naked cowboy's publicist/campaign manager, Todd Rubenstein, said that Burck won't be making any official statements until after his news conference announcing his run. That's taking place Wednesday in Times Square. Rubenstein made a point to remind us here at The Post that all press pass holders can join the naked cowboy after the event for FREE naked cowboy oysters & beer.(Now, that's a way to start a campaign for president.)

While we wait for the candidate's first words about his campaign, we're left with a brief statement in his online news release:

"America needs a president who believes in America. America needs a president who will stand up for America and protect its language, its borders, and most importantly, its culture ... "

And apparently, we need a president who will do that standing (and maybe singing, too?) in his underwear.

Yeehaw!

Bolivian President Says Eating Chicken Turns Men Gay -- Is He for Real?

The president of Bolivia has said that eating chicken turns men gay.

Evo Morales told a conference on climate change: "The chicken we eat is loaded with female hormones. So, when men eat it, they tend to deviate from their manhood." He added that he only eats non-genetically modified chicken to avoid becoming gay or effeminate.

President Morales' remarks angered one of Argentina's gay groups, which questioned his logic.

The president of the Argentina Homosexual Community campaigning organisation, Cesar Cigliutti, told AFP: "It's an absurdity to think that eating hormone-containing chicken can change the sexual orientation of a person.

"By following that reasoning, if we put male hormones in a chicken and we make a homosexual eat it he will transform into a heterosexual."

Morales also argued that eating treated chicken could turn men bald.

He said: "Baldness, which seems normal, is a disease in Europe. Almost everyone is bald and it's related to the food they eat. Among the indigenous people there are no bald men, because we eat different things."

Hillary Clinton Won't Run for President Again

Usually, politicians with presidential ambitions choose their words more carefully, but Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has left herself no wiggle room.

Asked on the Today show whether she will ever run for president again, the former First Lady and U.S. senator, who fiercely battled Barack Obama for the 2008 Democratic nomination, laughed heartily and replied: "No. No. No. I mean, this is a great job. It is a 24-7 job. And I'm looking forward to retirement at some point.”

She also addressed pundits who say the Executive Branch's highest-ranking woman has been marginalized in the debate over two big national security threats: Afghanistan and Iran.

"I find it absurd," Clinton told NBC’s Ann Curry in the interview from Zuirch, Switzerland, adding that maybe it is a "woman thing."

"You know, I’m not one of these people who feels like I have to have my face in the front of the newspaper or on the TV every moment of the day," Clinton said. "I would be irresponsible and negligent were I to say, 'Oh no everything must come to me.' "

"Maybe that is a woman's thing," she continued. "My goal is to be a very positive force to implement the kind of changes that the president and I believe are in the best interests of our country. But that doesn't mean that it all has to be me, me, me all the time

Karen Walker...Our next Vice President?

So who's idea was it to select Karen Walker (Megan Mullally) from "Will & Grace" as the Republican party's choice for Vice Presidential candidate?

Seriously America! Was John McCain enjoying a case of Absolut Vodka one evening watching a "Will & Grace" marathon when he thought "Wow, I would love to see Karen Walker as my sidekick in the White House"?

What was he thinking?

Megan Palin
...I mean Sarah Mullally...sorry Sarah Karen Megan Palin Walker Mullally is not the right person to run this country. God forbid the US makes another 4 year mistake and elects John McCain as our next President and something should happen to him. Can you imagine the "Hockey Mom" representing our nation? What a joke!

People be smart...and vote for Obama/Biden!
