Here’s some not-so-celebratory news for recent birthday boy Eddie Cibrian.The actor, who turned 37 on Wednesday, has been axed from CSI: Miami, a year after he joined the cast of the hit CBS show, according to reports.
Cibrian’s contract has reportedly not been picked up and sources say original cast member Adam Rodriguez — who, like Cibrian, had a stint on Ugly Betty — is returning full-time this fall, EW.com reports. CBS declined to comment.
The good news for Cibrian? Leaving Miami-Dade means he’ll have plenty of time for other TV projects.
As his girlfriend, singer LeAnn Rimes, Tweeted Thursday, “Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. Every story has and end, but in life every end is just a new beginning.”
Perhaps the couple should do another Lifetime movie?
