LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian Are Engaged

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian are making it official.

"Yes, they were engaged over the holidays and are very happy," her rep has confirmed.

A source adds that the couple, who spent Christmas at home in Los Angeles, "had family and close friends in town who helped them celebrate."

Rimes, 28, and Cibrian, 37, were spotted on a Malibu beach on Monday, where she was wearing a new engagement ring.

The platinum sparkler features a 5-carat oval diamond set in rose gold fleur-de-lis connected to the band, according to a source.

"The couple wanted an antique feel, but a new ring," says the source, who adds that Rimes and Cibrian designed the ring together with the actor's childhood friend Brent Polacheck at Polacheck Jewelers.

On Monday afternoon, Rimes thanked fans for their support, writing on Twitter, "Thank you for all your well wishes!! We are extremely excited and look forward to a beautiful future. It's been an incredible last few days, I was shocked!!! We are blessed, our families are so happy and our lives are filled with love."

Road to Engagement

In November, engagement rumors kicked into high gear after the couple posted a photo on Twitter which showed Cibrian on bended knee holding Rimes's hand. Later that month, Rimes slammed new reports of an impending wedding as "150 percent untrue."

Rimes and Cibrian met while filming the Lifetime original movie Northern Lights at a time when they were both married to other people. The singer has talked openly about the difficulty of falling in love with Cibrian and ending her marriage to Dean Sheremet.

"We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we're human. We fell in love," she said in November of Cibrian. "We're really happy in what we feel privately."

The singer's divorce from Sheremet was finalized in June. Sheremet himself got engaged in November and Rimes congratulated him in a Tweet, wishing him "a life full of happiness."

When she marries, Rimes will officially become stepmother to Cibrian's two children, Mason, 7, and Jake, 3. (Cibrian shares custody with his ex, model Brandi Glanville.)

LeAnn Rimes Denies Engagement to Eddie Cibrian

LeAnn Rimes is outraged with what she calls false reports about her impending engagement to boyfriend Eddie Cibrian, and she's not going to take it anymore.

"Ok, I've about had it with the lack of 'reporting'" in the media, Rimes, 28, writes in an extended Tweet Friday that calls the online story "150 percent untrue."

"Eddie and I are beyond happy and in love and look forward to one day sharing such private news with you all," she writes. "Hopefully will be able to enjoy it privately and share it with our family and friend's before the world knows."

Rimes signs off with a rumor of her own: "I'M PREGNANT TOO!!! LOL," she writes, and finishes with, "Thanks to all of our wonderful fans for the premature congats, but for now, let's all be happy we're happy and still and will remain together! Eddie and I felt we couldn't let this rumor go on any longer."

Rumors kicked into high gear earlier this week after the couple posted a Halloween photo in which Cibrian was on bended knee. The couple later said it was a joke.

LeAnn Rimes: Love Drove Me to Cheat, Which Is 'Not Who I Am'

LeAnn Rimes has found a measure of peace when it comes to her affair with Eddie Cibrian – saying it wasn't like her to cheat on her husband, but that she did it for love and therefore has no regrets.

"That's just not me. What happened is not who I am, period," the country star, 28, told ABC's Robin Roberts of the affair with her Northern Lights costar in a special titled All Access Nashville, which aired last night.

But Rimes isn't dwelling on the past. "I do know how much I love him," she says. "So, I've always said I don't live my life with regret. I can't."

Rimes and Cibrian, 37, were both married when they began their affair, and Rimes says now that their situation wasn't that unusual. "It happens every day to so many people," she says. "You had two couples whose marriages didn't work who really stumbled upon each other and fell in love."

The singer has been called everything from a homewrecker to a stalker, and says she's resigned to the idea that some people will never get over her infidelity. "Nothing I'm going to say is going to change it," she says. "I do know that, and I have accepted that."

Cibrian echoes Rimes's sentiments. "The truth is that we're human beings," he says. "We make mistakes and we learn from them, but we're human. We fell in love."

Away from the spotlight, though, Rimes says her love with Cibrian has blossomed. "We're really happy in what we feel privately," she says.

Eddie Cibrian Cut from CSI: Miami

Here’s some not-so-celebratory news for recent birthday boy Eddie Cibrian.

The actor, who turned 37 on Wednesday, has been axed from CSI: Miami, a year after he joined the cast of the hit CBS show, according to reports.

Cibrian’s contract has reportedly not been picked up and sources say original cast member Adam Rodriguez — who, like Cibrian, had a stint on Ugly Betty — is returning full-time this fall, EW.com reports. CBS declined to comment.

The good news for Cibrian? Leaving Miami-Dade means he’ll have plenty of time for other TV projects.

As his girlfriend, singer LeAnn Rimes, Tweeted Thursday, “Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together. Every story has and end, but in life every end is just a new beginning.”

Perhaps the couple should do another Lifetime movie?

LeAnn Rimes: 'I Take Responsibility for Everything'

LeAnn Rimes believes everything happens for a reason.

"I did one of the most selfish things that I possibly could do, in hurting someone else," the country superstar says in the new issue of People Magazine, speaking for the first time about the end of her 7-year marriage last year, following an affair with married actor Eddie Cibrian.

"I take responsibility for everything I've done. I hate that people got hurt," says Rimes. "But I don't regret the outcome."

Rimes, 27, who is now in a committed relationship with Cibrian, 36 (their respective divorces will be final soon), says they became friends while shooting the TV movie Northern Lights in November 2008, and it wasn't until several months later that their relationship "tipped over."

"It was very emotionally driven," says the singer, whose new single "Swingin'" off her upcoming covers album Lady and Gentlemen is out June 14. "I never once thought what I was doing was okay."

She says she and Dean Sheremet, 29 – a former dancer who is now a chef at Nobu in New York City and has been dating photographer Sarah Silver since last year – worked on their relationship after her infidelity became public, but ultimately decided that "it wasn't a marriage that fulfilled either one of us," says Rimes.

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian One Year Later

One year later and they're still going strong!

It was last March when LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian first made headlines for stepping out together, and this March they are vacationing in Mexico – the hand-holding lovebirds even took along the family.

On March 12th, the singer and the CSI: Miami hunk headed to Mexico by private jet for a getaway with Cibrian's two young sons Jake, 2, and Mason, 6. "They had a great time vacationing with Eddie's sons," says a source. "They seemed focused on just spending some fun beach time together. LeAnn looked great with the boys and played with them in the sand."

But the pair, who vacationed in Mexico together last year, also made time for each other. "They had a friend help them with the boys so they could spend some alone time over margaritas," says the source.

In July, Cibrian, 36, split with model Brandi Glanville, and Rimes, 27, separated from songwriter Dean Sheremet, and both couples have since filed for divorce.

Eddie Cibrian Bids for Joint Custody

Actor Eddie Cibrian is taking on his estranged wife in court, in a bid to win joint custody of the couple's two children - alleging Brandi Glanville has mentally and physically abused him.

The couple split after Cibrian began a relationship with LeAnn Rimes, his co-star in TV movie Northern Lights.

Glanville has custody of their two young children, Mason, six and Jake, two - and in court papers obtained by Entertainment Tonight Cibrian accuses his ex of preventing him from spending time with them.

He alleges, "(Glanville) is refusing to set a schedule for visitation with the minor children. My relationship with our minor children is the most important thing in my life. To be denied time with our minor children, just because the respondent is angry with me, is unfair to me and extremely detrimental to our minor children."

He adds that Glanville is full of "emotional rage" and "too angry with me to think of what is the best interest of our children.

"(She) is very angry with me for ending our seven-year marriage, and she is enraged at the way in which our marriage ended. In her rage, she has resorted to physically attacking me, mentally abuses me, vandalizing my motorcycle, speaking badly about me in front of our minor children…."

Explaining his claim for joint custody, Cibrian insists he has "always been a devoted and doting father".

Eddie Cibrian Files Suit Against Magazine

Eddie Cibrian is preparing to sue Life & Style magazine over claims he is cheating on new girlfriend Leann Rimes with a former lover.

Aspiring actress Scheana Marie Jancan recently told Life & Style magazine that the TV star is a serial cheat who will sleep with women behind Rimes' back, as he did to his ex-wife Brandi Glanville.

Jancan warned Rimes, who quit her own marriage to date Cibrian, that the hunk will dump her after he has had his fun.

And the same publication, Life & Style, went on to claim Jancan was once again in Cibrian's bed - behind Rimes' back.

But the actor is fuming over the allegations, and is getting a case ready to file a libel lawsuit against editors of the glossy mag.

A statement from the star's rep says, "Unfortunately Life & Style Magazine has chosen to go out with a story filled with inaccuracies and deceitful lies, presumably to titillate sales, but clearly resulting in harm to Eddie Cibrian and others.

"This is irresponsible and reckless journalism. Eddie has met with his attorneys and will be filing a suit for libel and other actionable grounds shortly.

"It's a shame that Life & Style resorted to a story of this nature and they will regretfully now have to face scrutiny of untruthful reporting in a court proceeding."

LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian Party in Vegas

Problems? What problems?

Following a report earlier this week that Eddie Cibrian had been spending time with another woman – an allegation Cibrian has strenuously denied – the CSI: Miami hunk and his girlfriend, LeAnn Rimes, showed up at a nightclub Friday night after Rimes's concert in Las Vegas for a little fun, relaxation – and pole dancing.

Observers spotted the carefree-seeming couple in the VIP section of XS nightclub, where they talked, laughed and knocked back tequila drinks. Though they stayed at the venue inside the Encore Resort for only 20 minutes, there was time enough for a PDA.

"They were making out at the table and didn't really care who saw them," a source says. Rimes, 27, wearing an off-the-shoulder black dress, even danced on one of the club's stripper poles before leaving just after midnight, the source said.

Cibrian, 36, filed for divorce last August from his wife, Brandi Glanville, with whom he has two sons. Fans will recall that after murmurs of trouble in their marriage, the pair were caught by the cameras last spring as they stepped out for a night of togetherness – at a Las Vegas night club.

Eddie Cibrian Back With Ex-Mistress

The aspiring actress who warned country star Leann Rimes her new man would cheat on her is reportedly back in Eddie Cibrian's arms.

Pretty Scheana Marie Jancan exposed the TV hunk as a serial cheater in a recent issue of Life & Style magazine and now the same publication reports she's romancing the star again.

Jancan sensationally claimed she was part of a love square, which ended the TV star's marriage to Brandi Glanville. She told Life & Style she and Cibrian were romantically involved for three years during his marriage, but she had no idea he was cheating on her with country star and actress Rimes.

The two co-stars initially denied reports they were an item after surveillance cameras caught them enjoying an intimate night out together, but Rimes and Cibrian, who played lovers on TV movie Northern Lights, have since ended their marriages and gone public with their love for each other.

Jilted Jancan warned Rimes to be careful, telling her, "It's just a fling."

She added, "Eddie cheated on Brandi. He cheated on me. He's going to do it to LeAnn."

And the once-bitter ex, who blasted Cibrian for not officially ending their romance, is now reportedly back in his favour.

Life & Style reports the actor has recently started seeing the 24 year old again.

A source tells the publication, "He (Cibrian) told her (Jancan) he's only with LeAnn for the publicity and that he plans to end things with her soon.

"He has a friend drop him off at Scheana's apartment, where he'll usually spend about two hours. Then a friend picks him up... He's made it clear to Scheana that he wants to continue seeing her."

LeAnn Rimes & Eddie Cibrian: Sushi & Holding Hands!

Who's that cute couple smiling so brightly for shutterbugs Monday night? LeAnn Rimes and boyfriend Eddie Cibrian, of course.

They'd just shared dinner at Katsuya, a restaurant in West Hollywood – an intimate ending to a long (and very public) weekend for Rimes, 27, and Cibrian, 36. Two days earlier, they were spotted in Dallas, cheering on the University of Texas Longhorns, who beat the Oklahoma Sooners, 16-13.

Brandi Glanville: Ex Eddie Cibrian and I 'Save Face for the Kids'

In the midst of her divorce from actor Eddie Cibrian, Brandi Glanville is taking the opportunity to speak out against her rival, country singer LeAnn Rimes.

At the TAO/LAVO anniversary party in Las Vegas Saturday night, Glanville, 36, acknowledged that she has had a neighborhood run-in with Cibrian's current girlfriend that was "not pleasant.”

Rimes, 27, and Cibrian, 36, took their romance public in August and have recently been staying at a house near the home Glanville used to share with Cibrian.

Still, the estranged couple – who are parents to sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2 – "definitely save face for the kids – absolutely, they are the most important things in both our lives," Glanville said. In fact, Cibrian was watching the kids during Glanville's weekend in Sin City.

Glanville added that she was in Las Vegas with girlfriends for a "divorce celebration-slash-get-away-from-your-life party. I'm just here to enjoy myself and relax."

As for Rimes, who filed for divorce from Dean Sheremet on Sept. 1, "she can have most of everything," said Glanville, "just not my children and my family."

A friend of Rimes says of Glanville's comments, "This is absurd. It just sounds like someone's desperately trying to extend their 15 min here. Everyone else has moved on."

Eddie Cibrian & Wife Want an Amicable Divorce

Although his relationship with LeAnn Rimes played out under a media glare, Eddie Cibrian's divorce from his wife Brandi Glanville promises to be less explosive. "Both sides are hoping to settle their divorce amicably," said a Glanville source.

Los Angeles Superior Court records show that Glanville, citing irreconcilable differences, is seeking spousal support from the CSI: Miami star as well as physical custody of their sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2, with visitation for Cibrian. The actor filed for divorce last month and is also seeking shared custody.

Earlier this month, Rimes announced on her Web site that she and husband Dean Sheremet were divorcing following months of rumors of her affair with Cibrian.

Cibrian, 36, and Rimes, 27, met while filming the Lifetime movie Northern Lights last fall.

Eddie Cibrian's Ex Issues Warning To Leann Rimes: 'He Will Cheat Again'

Actor Eddie Cibrian has been exposed as a serial cheater by the model he was dating behind his wife and mistress Leann Rimes' back.

Pretty Scheana Marie Jancan has sensationally claimed she was part of a love square, which ended the TV star's marriage to Brandi Glanville - and she's still in shock about the whole thing.

Jancan tells America's Life & Style magazine she and Cibrian were romantically involved for three years during his marriage, but she had no idea he was cheating on her with country star and actress Rimes.

The two co-stars initially denied reports they were an item after surveillance cameras caught them enjoying an intimate night out together, but Rimes and Cibrian, who played lovers on TV movie Northern Lights, have since ended their marriages and gone public with their love for each other.

Jilted Jancan has warned Rimes to be careful - because she's sure her ex-lover will cheat again.

She tells the publication, "Eddie's with LeAnn now, but it's just a fling. Eddie cheated on Brandi. He cheated on me. He's going to do it to LeAnn."

The bitter model still can't believe she lost out on love to the Blue singer: "I knew they were co-stars, and I didn't notice much chemistry between them in the movie."

And she's still desperate to find closure: "He's (Cibrian) still never given me a 'Sorry, we're done'. He hasn't ended it with me."

The actor has ended his eight year marriage to Glanville, the mother of his two sons.

Eddie Cibrian is Committed to Being a Devoted Father

After filing for divorce from his wife, actor Eddie Cibrian – who is now romancing country star LeAnn Rimes – is asking for privacy and saying he remains committed to his young sons.

"From the outset I have made a conscious decision to try and keep this matter private and not discuss it in the press. While my wife and I are dissolving our marriage, we will work together to parent our two children," he says of sons Mason, 6, and Jake, 2. "I love my boys very much. I want only the best for them and am committed to being a devoted father."

The CSI: Miami actor's statement, issued Thursday, comes after Rimes and Cibrian went public with recent dates, including a game of golf and a Kings of Leon concert. Earlier this week Cibrian filed for divorce from former model Brandi Glanville, citing irreconcilable differences.

Glanville has talked about her heartbreak over the demise of her marriage and said she sensed the attraction between her husband and Rimes when they filmed their Lifetime movie Northern Lights last fall. But Cibrian insists: "I will continue to be respectful and sensitive to this issue by not doing interviews about this ongoing private matter. I wish everyone would do the same."

Eddie Cibrian Addresses Personal Drama

It hasn't been easy being Eddie Cibrian: In March, the actor landed at the center of a scandal when he was accused of having an affair with LeAnn Rimes (which he denied). And in July, his manager revealed the actor and his wife had separated.

Now, Cibrian, 36, who was seen spending time with Rimes, 26, last month, is speaking out about his personal drama.

"I don't know how people perceive me," he tells Entertainment Tonight in a recent interview. "What I do know is when you reach a certain point in your career you're placed in this unfair fishbowl."

The newest CSI: Miami cast member, adds, "Things unfortunately get magnified. We are all human, we are all not perfect."

Cibrian does not discuss his relationship with Rimes (who is separated from husband Dean Sheremet), but references his two kids, Mason, 5, and Jake, 2, as well as his estranged wife, Brandi Glanville, who has spoken openly about her husband's alleged infidelity.

"The fact is I love my family dearly, and I'm a great father," he says. "It just saddens me that this is hurtful and being played out publicly."

LeAnn Rimes and Husband Are Separated

Four months after reports surfaced that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian were allegedly having an affair, a source told People that the country singer is no longer living with her husband, Dean Sheremet.

"Le and Dean have been separated for quite some time now, but they're continuing to try and work through their relationship," a Rimes pal says.

The couple married in 2002, when she was only 19. Last August (six months before their seventh anniversary), they threw a "Seven-Year Itch" party to, as Rimes put it, "remember how blessed we are."

News of their separation comes days after Cibrian's wife, Brandi Glanville, said she and the actor were splitting.

"Eddie is a devoted and loving father first and foremost and the speed bump he and Brandi are experiencing needs to be worked out privately for everyone's benefit," his manager said in a statement.

Cibrian, 36, who is joining the cast of C.S.I. Miami this fall, has denied he was having an affair with Rimes, his costar in the Lifetime original movie Northern Lights, which they filmed last fall.

In March, the Rimes pal confirmed the singer and Sheremet were having problems in their marriage, but maintained Cibrian was "not the cause," adding, "There have been issues brewing for months prior to meeting Eddie on set."

The couple's Nashville home is currently on the market for $7.45 million.

Eddie Cibrian Dump By His Wife, Brandi Glanville

Brandi Glanville has finally left her husband, actor Eddie Cibrian. (They have two sons together, Mason, 6, and Jake, 2.)

“Eddie and I have decided to take some time apart,” Brandi, 36, told Us Weekly. “I want to do what is best for our children. Eddie and [alleged mistress] LeAnn Rimes deserve each other.”

Four months after news of their affair broke, Eddie, 36, and LeAnn, 26, were caught together again in the early afternoon of July 17th outside the Malibu home of Jeff Berger, a longtime friend of the singer and her husband, Dean Sheremet.

Eddie has released a statement via his rep stating:

“Apparently the press wishes to continue to play out Eddie Cibrian’s domestic situation publicly with an unfair flair of tabloid fervor. Eddie is a devoted and loving father first and foremost and the speed bump he and Brandi are experiencing needs to be worked out privately for everyone’s benefit.”

Maybe Eddie will live happily ever ever with LeAnn after all!

Dean Cain 'Just Friends' with Leann Rimes

Former TV Superman Dean Cain has laughed off rumours he's dating Leann Rimes, just months after the married singer/actress was forced to deny allegations of an affair with actor Eddie Cibrian.

Rimes found herself at the centre of a tabloid scandal earlier this year after an American magazine published photos of the star apparently kissing Cibrian during an intimate night out in Los Angeles.

Both stars denied the accusations and Rimes further dismissed claims she was seeking to divorce her dancer husband Dean Sheremet.

Now Rimes' longtime friend Cain has spoken out to put an end to fresh rumours he's the new subject of the blonde beauty's affections.

The bachelor tells U.S. news show Extra, "We are just friends. I've known LeAnn a long time."
