Steve Guttenberg is giving cast and crew an eyeful on the set of his new movie - he keeps stripping naked.

The 51 year old is proud of his buff physique and has been spotted jogging topless near his New York City home.

But comedian Jeffrey Ross, Guttenberg's co-star in new romance drama It's Not You, reveals the 80s icon isn't afraid of peeling off on the film's Manhattan set when he needs to change costumes.

Speaking on his first day on set, Ross said on a recent interview, "He's got a hot bod and he knows it. He takes his clothes off. There are no trailers, because it's low budget - but he doesn't even go behind a screen. I've seen him naked more times than I've seen my girlfriend naked.”

Kirstie Alley Tackles Her Weight in New Reality Show

Kirstie Alley is ready to get real about her weight struggles.

The actress, 58, has signed on to star in a new reality series for A&E, which will follow her as she juggles trying to lose weight with life as a single mom to two teenagers in Hollywood.

The untitled show, which will run for 10 half-hour episodes, is scheduled to debut sometime next year.

"Kirstie is exactly the kind of star A&E is drawn to," said A&E nonfiction/alternative programming senior VP Robert Sharenow. "Her personal life has been playing out in the media for years, but this will be the first time she'll be opening up her home to reveal her real life for the cameras."

While the actress has talked about her weight issues on TV before and starred in the 2005 scripted Showtime series Fat Actress, this marks her first foray into reality television.

In May, Alley said in an interview that while she had gained 83 lbs., she had a plan to get her life back on track: "I'm gonna go, 'You know what? Get back on the horse, lose the freakin' weight, and then just move forward!' "

Steve Martin & Alec Baldwin to Host the Oscars

The search is over – and the Oscars are counting on two wild and crazy guys to host the 82nd Academy Awards.

Let the banter begin: "I am happy to co-host the Oscars with my enemy Alec Baldwin," says Steve Martin, who will share the stage with the 30 Rock actor.

"I don't play the banjo but I'm thrilled to be hosting the Oscars – it's the opportunity of a lifetime," says Baldwin.

Martin, 64, who hosted the 73rd and 75th Academy Awards, and Baldwin, 51, a 2003 supporting actor nominee for The Coolor, are both multiple hosts of Saturday Night Live. They will follow Hugh Jackman as emcees of the biggest Hollywood award show, which like other award programs has been stung by lower ratings.

"We think the team of Steve and Alec are the perfect pair of hosts for the Oscars," said show producers Adam Shankman and Bill Mechanic. "Steve will bring the experience of having hosted the show in the past and Alec will be a completely fresh personality for this event."

The 82nd Academy Awards will be broadcast Sunday, March 7th, on ABC from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood.

"MasterChef" Cooking for Fox

Foodies, get ready for a culinary "American Idol."

Fox is expanding its line of Gordon Ramsay reality shows by giving a series order to Reveille's "MasterChef."

Ramsay will co-produce and star in the program, in which nonprofessional cooks compete to create perfect dishes. The project is based on a format that's popular in the U.K. and Australia. The show joins Ramsay's other titles on Fox -- "Hell's Kitchen" and "Kitchen Nightmares" -- and should keep the network stocked with the temperamental chef's reality fare nearly year-around.

The "MasterChef" format has aired in several incarnations in the U.K., with the earliest dating to 1990. The Australian edition premiered this year and has been a ratings powerhouse, its finale ranking as one of the country's most-watched programs in a decade.

"This is a huge, nationwide search for the best amateur cook in America," said executive producer Howard T. Owens of production company Reveille. "It's about people who are lawyers, construction workers and stay-at-home moms but whose real passion is to make great food. This is their shot to prove they have what it takes."

The details for Fox's "MasterChef" are being worked out, but the show will most closely resemble the Australian edition. In each season, contestants from around the country audition by creating a dish for a panel of three judges to earn spots as semi-finalists. The remaining contestants compete each week via team-based and individual cooking challenges until only one remains.

Since Fox is ordering relatively few episodes (between 12 and 15) compared to the Australia edition, which aired six nights a week, the format is expected to evolve over the coming weeks. Scheduling has yet to be determined. One possible scenario is Fox will air a late spring edition of "Hell's Kitchen" that will bleed into the summer and then, out of "Kitchen," unveil "MasterChef."

"Hell's Kitchen" is the network's second-most-popular reality series after "American Idol," yet it's more versatile than the singing competition -- Fox has aired "Hell's" all over its schedule and at different times of the year, and the show always performs competitively. "Kitchen Nightmares" has been a more modest performer and is expected to return sometime next year. Fox also has a live cooking special coming up with Ramsay called "Cook Along."

Southland Lives, Thanks to TNT!

TNT has picked up the cop drama Southland and will air it on Tuesday nights starting in January.

The drama stars Ben McKenzie, Regina King and Tom Everett Scott, among others and, best of all, has the prominent gay character of officer John Cooper played by Michael Cudlitz (pictured above).

As you recall, NBC produced 13 episodes of the series (seven aired last spring) then in a bizarre move, canceled the series before it even made its scheduled season premiere this fall.

TNT, already home to such terrific dramas as The Closer, Saving Grace and Raising the Bar, will air all of the completed episodes of Southland. If the ratings are strong, the cable channel will produce new ones.

“This is a perfect opportunity for us to introduce the series to new viewers,” Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks, said in a statement.

Rihanna Breaks Silence About Chris Brown

Nine months after her fight with Chris Brown, Rihanna finally opens up about the night that left her bruised and bloody.

"This happened to me. … It can happen to anyone," the singer, 21, tells Diane Sawyer in an interview airing Thursday on Good Morning America and on 20/20 on Friday.

Rihanna says it was particularly difficult because of the special place Brown held in her heart: "He was definitely my first big love."

Both singers have worked to move on. Brown is serving his sentence and working on new music, his album Graffiti will drop December 15th; and Rihanna is shaking things up with her edgy fashion and releasing her fourth album Rated R on November 23rd. The album's first single "Russian Roulette" debuted last week.

Adam Lambert & Ferras: Halloween Hotties

Adam Lambert dresses up as a glammed-out vampire for a special Halloween party in Los Angeles on Saturday night, October 31st.

All night, the newly single American Idol vet, who recently split with boyfriend Drake LaBry, was seen hanging out with pop rock singer Ferras, who dressed up as an Arabian Prince with Markus Molinari.

A few weeks ago, Adam and Ferras, both 27 years old, were also seen partying together at the Star Magazine 5th Anniversary shindig. The pair have been collaborating for awhile now. Back in June, Ferras tweeted, “Spent the afternoon writing with Adam Lambert! Havent seen him since before idol- we’re writing a great song. Its gunna be sick ya’ll. :)”

Kelly Clarkson is Working on a New Album

Good news, Kelly Clarkson fans; the American Idol fave is already working on her fifth studio album, and plans to release it next Fall.

In a recent radio interview, the All I Ever Wanted songbird revealed: “We’re already working on it. [The songs] are really different. The next record is going to be really different."

As for how many Kelly Clarkson originals will be on the new collection, the singer, who will be on tour until March 2010, isn't sure yet:

“If I end up liking stuff that I’ve done then I’ll include it, but if I like other stuff better I’ll use that. Sometimes you’re just more inspired I guess, and sometimes if you have records that come out really close together it might be more other peoples' songs. Because there’s not enough time to write and sing and perform and do everything.”

Either way, it should be exciting to hear what she cooks up.

Michael Jackson's "This Is It" Moonwalks to Top of U.S. Box Office

Michael Jackson's "This Is It" rehearsal documentary has soared to the top of the U.S. box office, taking $21.3 million in its opening weekend.

The film, which follows the Thriller legend as he prepared for his ill-fated London concerts, premiered worldwide on Wednesday.

Within five days This Is It has earned a massive $32.5 million in the states and $101 million worldwide - prompting Sony bosses to extend its run in the U.S. until Thanksgiving weekend, and add showtimes in other territories on a country-by-country basis.

However, its success still falls short of last year's $31.1 million U.S. opening weekend for Hannah Montana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert.

This Is It bumped low-budget horror film Paranormal Activity from number one to the second spot, with $16.5 million in earnings; however, moviegoers proved they were seeking a thrill over the Halloween weekend, helping Jamie Foxx and Gerard Butler's crime drama Law Abiding Citizen land at number three with $7.3 million in earnings.

Rounding out the top five is Vince Vaughn's comedy Couples Retreat and horror film Saw VI, earning $6.1 million and $5.6 million respectively.

Cheyenne Jackson, from Broadway to '30 Rock'

Either Cheyenne Jackson has a great agent or the actor's really on a roll. Maybe both.

The 34-year-old actor opened this week on Broadway in the revival of the musical "Finian's Rainbow," which has received nearly unanimously positive reviews. And now comes word that Jackson is set to join the cast of NBC's "30 Rock," starting with the November 12th episode.

A post on http://www.afterelton.com/ reports that Jackson will play an actor on "TGS," which is the show-within-the-show. The story says that Jackson's character is named "Danny / Jack Baker" and that the other characters aren't entirely happy with his arrival.

The site even has pictures from "30 Rock" showing Jackson acting alongside Tracy Morgan and others. It's not clear if Jackson is joining the series as a regular cast member or a recurring guest star.

On top of that, Jackson and Michael Feinstein will release their album of show tunes titled "The Power of Two" on November 3rd.

Jackson, who is openly gay, is a staple of the New York theater scene and has performed in such high-profile Broadway musical productions as "Xanadu" and "All Shook Up."

In "Finian's Rainbow," playing at the St. James Theater, Jackson plays the character Woody, a small-town lad who finds himself caught up in a comic plot revolving around a pot of gold. The reviewer for Variety wrote that "Jackson's supple voice and relaxed leading-man confidence are a smooth fit" for his character.

Some actors only dream of career synergy like this. We hope Cheyenne is enjoying it while it lasts.

Flu Forces Elton John to Cancel Concerts

The flu may be on everyone's minds, but it happens to be in Elton John's system – prompting the British musician, who is said to be in a London hospital for treatment of E-coli bacterial infection and influenza, to postpone the Seattle and Portland, Oregon, dates on his current tour, costarring Billy Joel, the BBC reports.

According to his official Web site, Sir Elton 62, postponed a Dublin performance on Thursday after earlier shelving concerts in London, Liverpool, Sheffield, Newcastle.

The American leg of the tour was also put on hold in July, when Joel, 60, was ordered to rest after suffering "flu-like symptoms" and "extreme fatigue."

The Pacific Northwest gigs are likely to be rescheduled for December, according to promoters.
