Which Couple Gets Sex Counseling from Holly Holliday on Glee Next Week?

We’re less than a week away from the much-anticipated return of Gwyneth Paltrow’s Holly Holliday on Glee and Entertainment Weekly has some juicy scoop to reveal about Holly’s second stint at McKinley High.

They already broke the news that she would be subbing for the school’s sex ed teacher. But Holly’s sex-pertise will not be reserved solely for the classroom: Entertainment Weekly has learned exclusively that she will also be counseling one of the series’ major couples. Which one?

SPOILER ALERT! Newlyweds Emma (Jayma Mays) and Carl (John Stamos).”Holly ends up counseling them a little bit,” says star Matthew Morrison. “It turns out their sex life isn’t all that.” Adds Morrison, “At the same time, I find out the glee club is having a lot of sex and they’re not really informed as to what’s going on. Holly and I come up with an idea to teach them through song about the dangers of sex.”

Morrison adds that by the end of next week’s episode, there’s also potential for a Holly/Will romance. Says the actor, “By the end of the episode, we kind of get together. She has to leave again but there’s a possibility of a future between Will and Holly.”

In fact, Paltrow is currently shooting yet another episode of Glee, her third this season.

Elton John May Appear on Glee

Elton John has been in talks about appearing on Glee.

Jane Lynch, who plays Sue Sylvester in the show, said she had encouraged the gay legend to meet series co-creator Ryan Murphy without realising the pair had already discussed the idea.

She told Access Hollywood: “I said, ‘You should be on it!’ And he said he and Ryan just had coffee or something and they talked about that, so that would be really fun.”

Meanwhile, Matthew Morrison, who plays Will Schuester, said recently that John could appear as a love interest for Sue.

He said: “We should find a spot for him to be on the show. That would be awesome. He’s a living legend. He just brings such a great energy and a great validity to everything he does.

“He should do something with Jane Lynch. I think he should maybe play her boyfriend or some kind of love interest for her. I think that would be fun.”

Elton John & Matthew Morrison 'Gleeful' Duet

Elton John was filled with 'Glee' to do this duet.

Speaking at his Wednesday gay marriage fundraising gala, John touched on the recent work he did with 'Glee' star Matthew Morrison on his upcoming solo album.

"I just did it! It's a duet. It's great, really fantastic. He sings great on it," he told Parade Magazine. "It's a medley of 'Mona Lisas and Madhatters' going into 'Rocket Man.' I did it on Monday."

John had spoken in October of his plans to do the project with Morrison, who attended the Wednesday soiree.

"I'm supposed to be doing something with Matthew Morrison for his album," the singer told Entertainment Weekly in October. "[Matthew and I] had a little meeting together, so hopefully that's going to happen when I get to L.A."

No word yet on whether the high school glee club show will cover one of his songs, but John was enthusiastic about that possibility, too.

Morrison's solo album will be released in February.

E! Online cornered the men of Glee (that's the kind of sacrifice they are willing to make for you fans) at the TCA press tour to get the goods on their television love lives, and they didn't hold back. For starters, Mr. Schue is pretty darn sick of feeling jealous over Carl (John Stamos), and now it's Emma's turn!

"Carl hasn't been back yet, but you know Gwyneth Paltrow is coming back and I think her and I are going to get a little loving going on," Matthew Morrison tells us. "So it'll be my chance to show Emma up a little bit. Make her a little jealous because she's been making me really jealous lately." Understandable. Stamos is kind of a dreamboat.

Remember when Quinn and Puck had a kid? Mark Salling does, and he thinks there still might be a chance for those two crazy kids to get together. "I wouldn't rule anything out," he says. "We don't know what going on until the week before when we get the script, so who knows?" We're sure Quick fans will hold onto that little string of hope like a lifeline, right?

And now, ladies and gentlemen, your teenage dream Darren Criss has a message for those desperate for Blaine and Kurt to get together. "There's going to be some fun things. Every day Chris (Colfer) and I are both equally curious to see what's going to happen between the two of those guys," he spills to E! Online. "We're definitely going to start seeing some layers to the two of them. The pink elephant in the room will finally be addressed, let's put it that way."

Speaking of pink, Glee has a Valentine's Day episode coming up! Kevin McHale is especially anxious for fans to see that one. "[Artie] is with Brittany [Heather Morris], and it's a very fun and cute episode," he tells us. "We get to do a lot of fun numbers. This number I get to do, I can't say [what it is] but I'm very, very excited to do it. There's slow motion! I love slow motion."

We wonder what the already slow Brittany is like in slow motion...does she just stand still? These are the important questions, Glee fans want to know.

The next new episode of Glee will premiere on Super Bowl Sunday, February 6th, right after the game on FOX. It's sure to be a "Thriller"!

Gwyneth Paltrow Returning to Glee for Two More Episodes

Gwyneth Paltrow is set to return to hit TV show Glee to romance Matthew Morrison's drama teacher Will Schuester.

The Oscar winner scored a ratings bonanza for the series when she appeared as substitute teacher Holly Holliday last year, and now Glee creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed she has agreed to come back for two more episodes.

He explains, "She's coming back specifically to date Will. Those two have become really good friends in real life and had really good chemistry. She's coming back as a sex education teacher.

"Gwyneth and I are emailing, talking every week: What are we gonna sing? We're trying to do something fantastic. She comes back in January and she's with us for three and a half weeks, I think."

And Murphy has revealed he's also using Lady Gaga's new song Born This Way as a major theme for an upcoming episode.

He tells Entetainment Weekly, "We're going to do a whole episode that's about that song."

Glee's Matthew Morrison to Tour This Spring

Glee star Matthew Morrison, aka Mr. Schuester, is finishing up his solo album and is preparing for a tour once the hit Fox series wraps its second season.

“I’m going to be touring in the hiatus,” Morrison told Entertainment Weekly. “I’m gonna go all over the world actually. I start band rehearsal in two weeks when we go on our little Christmas break.”

Morrison won’t be the only Glee star performing for audiences: the younger cast will recreate their very successful concert show in the UK and Ireland.

Meanwhile, Morrison says that his album, due in May according to the actor, is just about finished. “We’re almost done,” he admits. “We have like two more songs to record and then it’s off to the mixing stages. I’m really really happy with it and I can’t wait for people to hear it as well.”

What Was Glee's Most Surprising Twist?

Change was in the air Tuesday on Glee's "Special Education" episode – from a shakeup in the club's usual lineup to plenty of personal drama.

To start, Mr. Schuester decided to refresh his predictable approach to songs and singers for the upcoming sectionals competition. Instead of relying on Rachel for a shining solo and giving her a duet with Finn, Mr. Schu spread the spotlight around, showcasing Quinn and Sam's chemistry, Santana's voice and Brittany's and Mike's dance moves.

Meanwhile, Kurt – who was always a strong force at McKinley High – got off to a rocky start with Dalton Academy's glee club, The Warblers. On his first day, Kurt jumped in with lots of suggestions for numbers with more "panache" – but the group's rigid decision-making system left little room for his personal flair.

Even after performing a rousing version of "Don't Cry for me Argentina" as an audition for a solo spot, Kurt was rejected and told by his pal Blaine not to "try so hard" next time.

In terms of personal drama, Rachel found out about Finn's hookup with Santana, which happened before they were dating. Tina convinced Artie that their respective partners, Mike and Brittany, were cheating on them together during their long dance rehearsals. And although he knows she's happily dating another man, Mr. Schuester invited Emma to be his plus-one at sectionals.

At the competition, New Directions started to lose their team spirit and devolve into in-fighting backstage until Mr. Schuester told them, "Look, I don't care if you guys hate each other. All I want is for you guys to go out there and sing together."

And they did. The New Directions – fronted by Sam and Quinn singing "I've Had the Time of My Life" and Santana singing "Valerie" – got a standing ovation. But was it enough to beat The Hipsters and The Warblers? In the end, New Directions tied for first place with The Warblers, so both groups will head to the next level of competition – regionals.

As for all the turmoil, it turned out Mike and Brittany did not cheat, so Tina and Mike happily got back together, as did Brittany and Artie. Rachel and Finn weren't so lucky, though. The golden couple broke up after Rachel admitted she made out with Puck to get back at Finn.

But Emma had an even bigger surprise for Mr. Schuester: She went off to Las Vegas for a romantic trip with her dentist beau Dr. Carl – and got married! Mr. Schuester could barely muster the breath to say he was happy for her.

Glee's Matthew Morrison: I'm Not a Good Boyfriend

You might be really into Matthew Morrison. Trouble is, he might not be that into you.

"I'm not a good friend right now. I'm not a good boyfriend," the Glee star tells Details in its December/January issue.

But it's not personal. "It's not that I'm selfish," he says. "I'm just focused."

Working 15 hours a day leaves the actor little time for romance. "It's been a while," he says. "Meeting people, you wonder, 'What does this person see in me?' "

It wasn't always so. Morrison, 32, fondly recalls being smitten with the opposite sex as a young actor performing in musicals in New York. "I definitely hooked up with a lot of girls when I was a young guy on Broadway," he says. "It was exciting. Very joyous and free."

Still, he remains a bit conflicted about his attractiveness to women. "I'm not comfortable with the idea of my sex appeal, but I know in my job I have to use it," he says. "I wish I could say I got to this point in my career based on my talent, but I don't think that's true."

The maturity Morrison found on the other side of 30 allows him to be a teacher not just in the Fox show but also on set.

"I am a teacher to them," he says of his younger castmates, whom he refers to as "the kids." "I've taken a few under my wing."

And he wishes some of them could be less publicity driven. "I find myself learning a lot from the set," he says. "I do look at stuff people on the show are doing, and I don't judge them, but I question it. I say to myself, 'Keep quiet.' Fame. It's like a handgun – in the wrong hands, it's dangerous."

On being a straight actor in a theater scene dominated by women and gay men:“There was so much opportunity. There were all these beautiful, beautiful dancers. As a straight guy I had some room. There were the shared interests in singing and dancing, and I always find dancing with someone very evocative and sexual. I definitely hooked up with a lot of girls when I was a young guy on Broadway. It was exciting. Very joyous and free.”

On being perceived as a sex object which still confuses him: “I’m not comfortable with the idea of my sex appeal, but I know in my job I have to use it. I wish I could say I got to this point in my career based on my talent, but I don’t think that’s true.”

On his dating life now: “It’s been a while. Meeting people, you wonder, ‘What does this person see in me?’ ” That’s not where his head is at. “I’m not a good friend right now. I’m not a good boyfriend. It’s not that I’m selfish. I’m just focused.”

Glee Creator: Gwyneth Paltrow Pulls Off 'Really Hard Dance Number'

In addition to dropping the 'F' word for her upcoming appearance on Glee, Gwyneth Paltrow pulls of a "really hard dance number," according to show creator Ryan Murphy.

"She had to sort of stamp around with Matt [Morrison] and the kids in a full tank of water for 12 hours," Murphy said at the 24th Annual Emery Awards in New York on Tuesday. "She loved it, actually. She's just the best."

Paltrow, who performed at Wednesday's CMA Awards, will sing a mash-up of "Singin' in the Rain" and Rihanna's hit "Umbrella" on the episode airing Tuesday at 8:00 pm (ET).

It didn't take much work for Murphy to convince his "good friend" Paltrow to show up at McKinley High. "I've always loved her when she sang. And I said, 'You should sing and dance, and show people what you can do,' " Murphy says. "She has a movie coming out in December, Country Strong, so she said, 'Oh, that might work.' "

And the actress had some special visitors on set – daughter Apple, 6, and son Moses, 4. "Her kids came and watched it. She had a ball," Murphy says. "She's the easiest, breeziest gal around, she's such a professional. She was so prepared, she worked so hard."

Glee's Kurt Finally Gets His First Gay Kiss (But NOT From His Teenage Dream)

Glee fans have been speculating for weeks that McKinley High's openly gay student Kurt would get his first kiss on last night's episode. And while finally happened, it certainly didn't pan out as expected.

The scene had been set for Kurt (played by Chris Colfer) to spark up a romance with Blaine (played by Darren Criss), another gay student from a rival glee club.

Blaine charmed Kurt with his group's rendition of Katy Perry's Teenage Dream at the Dalton Academy for the Boys and a passionate moment seemed imminent.

But to the surprise of viewers it was Karofsky (played by Max Adler), a 'Neanderthal' football jock who had been subjecting Kurt to bullying about his sexuality, who locked lips with him.

Kurt was left reeling after the kiss and took Blaine to confront confused Karofsky, who responded with only aggression.

Colfer said last week that the cast had been sworn to secrecy over the kiss.

He said: "It's so big that we had a full meeting about it that we can't say anything. That's never happened before."

It wasn't the only eyebrow raising moment in the episode, titled Never Been Kissed.

Mr. Schuester (played by Matthew Morrison) gave Coach Beiste (played by Dot-Marie Jones) her first ever smooch.

The episode had already received the stamp of approval from singer Katy Perry, whose song was one of the highlights of the show.

'This just brought a sweet tear to my eye!' the singer Twittered after seeing the routine. 'Teenage Dream on GLEE makes my heart go WEEE!"

Jane Lynch: Sue Sylvester's Getting Married

No stranger to wedding bells herself, Jane Lynch's ever-scheming character on Glee, Sue Sylvester, is going to have a surprise wedding, the Emmy-winner said – who also reveals some other big moments coming to the show, including guest spots by Gwyneth Paltrow and Carol Burnett.

"Sue gets married – that's all I'm going to tell you," Lynch, who tied the knot with psychologist Laura Embry in June, said at the BAFTA/LA's Brittania Awards, where Betty White was honored.

"I probably shouldn't have said anything!," added Lynch, who would only say that the TV wedding will take place within the next three or four episodes – and it won't be a big musical blow-out.

Then there's Paltrow’s guest shot: "I did a couple of scenes with Gwyneth. She's got the goods," says Lynch, 50. "She can sing, she can dance. I really was [blown away]. I saw them doing a mash-up of 'Singin' in the Rain' and 'Umbrella,' and they are singing and dancing their hearts out, and Gwyneth is leading them. She's amazing."

As Lynch explained, "She's a substitute teacher for Will [Matthew Morrison]. Will gets the monkey flu and I expose him to it – I turn a sneezing kid on him so that he gets the monkey flu."

The upshot? "So Gwyneth Paltrow is the substitute, and the kids start to all love her. So there's kind of a rivalry between Schue and Gwyneth's character."

As for Sue's relationship with the new sub, "It's friendly – and then, of course, as with all relationships with Sue Sylvester, it turns antagonistic."

Her relationship with Burnett, when the comedy legend appears on the show, turns musical. Burnett will play Sue's Nazi-hunting mother. Says Lynch, an avid Burnett fan: "We sing '[Why, Oh Why, Did I Ever Leave] Ohio' from Wonderful Town, the 1950s musical."

It's "The Rocky Horror Glee Show" Tonight!

It's Halloween. What's a Gleek to do? Let's put on The Rocky Horror Picture Show is what Will (Matthew Morrison decides to do!

The reason that New Directions is putting its spin on the 1975 cult classic (at least according to the plot) is that Emma's (Jayma Mays) a big fan and Will wants to impress Emma, so... it's time for "Time Warp."

That's Kurt (Chris Colfer) underneath the bald Riff-Raff wig, by the way. Movie alums Barry Bostwick and Meat Loaf are in the guest cast, playing station managers at the TV station where Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) hurls her "As Sue Sees It" darts. And, yes, Sue's scheming to stop the show.

The Halloween-themed episode will be broadcast tonight at 8:00 pm (ET) on FOX.

Lea Michele Not Ready to Record Debut Album

Glee star Lea Michele is putting off plans to follow her TV co-stars Matthew Morrison and Mark Salling into the music industry by releasing her own album, because she's not ready to make such a "big commitment".

The singer/actress, who has shown off her powerful vocals on Broadway as well as on the hit TV musical, admits she would love to one day record a disc of her own songs, but she would need enough time to nurture the project from start to finish.

She tells Us Weekly, "I think it's definitely in my future, but that's a really big commitment. (Her Glee character) Rachel's my baby, and making an album would be like taking care of another baby. And I'm not really ready to have another kid yet!"

Morrison is set to make his mark on the pop charts in February with his debut solo album Bringing it to the Masses, while Salling releases his second album, Pipe Dreams, next week.

Matthew Morrison Wants Justin Timberlake to Come to 'Glee'

Glee star Matthew Morrison knows exactly which guest star he'd like to welcome to the set: Justin Timberlake!

When asked who he would like to see make a cameo in the series, he said: “My top choice would be Harrison Ford, but as a close second, Justin Timberlake. I’d like him to play brother actually.”

Morrison is also a huge fan of Justin's music and admits the singer has been a big influence on his upcoming debut album.

The 31-year-old star, who releases Bringing it to the Masses in February 2011, added to Stylist magazine: “I’ve actually been working with some big producers in London. The style’s what I like to call Bublake -- a cross between Michael Buble and Justin Timberlake.”

Britney Spears recently appeared in a tribute episode of Glee, which featured a performance of her debut single "Baby One More Time" by Lea Michele, who plays the character Rachel Berry.

Several other guest stars are due to appear in the second series, including Gwyneth Paltrow, Javier Bardem and Carol Burnett.

Elton John to Work with Matthew Morrison on Actor's Debut Album

Elton John recently revealed to Entertainment Weekly that he’ll be working with Glee star Matthew Morrison—aka Will Schuester—on the actor’s forthcoming debut album.

“I’m supposed to be doing something with Matthew Morrison for his album,” John told Entertainment Weekly, when he called to talk about The Union, John’s album collaboration with legendary pianist-songwriter Leon Russell, which hits stores Octoctober 19th.

“[Matthew and I] had a little meeting together, so hopefully that’s going to happen when I get to L.A.” John says the collaboration with the Glee star will likely happen sometime this month. John also recently fanned rumors that he may contribute to Lady Gaga’s upcoming album, Born This Way. “There’s a chance I might do one track with her,” he told Entertainment Weekly, “but she’s so busy, and I’m so busy, we can never get together!”

Considering his upcoming collaboration with Morrison, though, could an all-Elton episode of Glee—or even an appearance on the show—be that far off? It’s not in the works…yet. “I love Glee, but no, no, no,” the legendary singer said. “Of course, I’d be into that. It’s always great when someone covers your songs, no matter how good or bad the version is. You know, I started out as a songwriter, so I always get a kick out of that.”

Matthew Morrison is Nothing Like His 'Glee' Character, Will Schuester

Matthew Morrison says he's nothing like his Glee character. In fact, he admits he's quite an a**hole! He plays singing Spanish teacher Will Schuester in the series, and jokes that he's not such a charming guy when the cameras aren't rolling.

He joked: "Playing a character on television is very different to film where there is a little more distance between you guys and the fans. And Will Schuester is a likable, trustworthy guy. If only they knew that I was a "f**king a**hole."

However, the former Broadway star admitted that playing his on screen character is not difficult because he often teaches singing classes.

He explained: "I wish I could say my part's an acting stretch but it isn't. I go back and teach master classes at college and at my high school."

Matthew also spoke of his admiration for Jane Lynch, who plays hi on-screen rival, Cheerios cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester. He told Vogue magazine: "She's the sweetest woman you could meet. She's so great..I crack up in her face a lot."

However, he admitted that working with Jane could be terrifying. He added: "When I heard that we were going to improvise, I was terrified. But over the last year, she's raised the expectations I have for myself."

Glee's Matthew Morrison on His Solo Album

We all know Glee star Matthew Morrison can sing but does he have what it takes to be a big-selling solo artist?

We’ll find out when he releases his first CD next year which, he told MTV this week at the Glee premiere party, is coming along well.

Matthew says he hooked up with former boy bander JC Chasez for one of the tracks on the album.

“I wrote about half the album so far, but I’ve definitely co-wrote. I’ve definitely teamed up with some great producers, some great songwriters,” he said. “And yeah, I just did this great song last week with JC Chasez that was very, very cool. It turned out really well. He’s such a good songwriter.”

Matthew revealed the name of the track: Dancing in the Rain.

There are other collaborations but no naming names just yet: “It’s very eclectic. I’m doing some great duets. I can’t release who they’re with yet, [but it's] some people that you’ve probably heard of before, that you’ve definitely heard of before.”

“It’s gonna be a little adult contemporary,” he adds. “And there’s gonna be some pop songs that you can shake your moneymaker to in the club.”

First Look!: John Stamos' Smile Lights Up Glee

This won't hurt a bit, Mr. Schuester. Actually, it might — a lot. But it's Will's heart, not his teeth, that is most in jeopardy when John Stamos joins Glee in Season 2's second episode as Emma's dentist beau, Dr. Carl Howell.

"Just when Will thinks he'll win Emma because he can sing and dance, we find out Carl used to be in an '80s boy band," reveals John, who'll likely sport a mullet for flashbacks. "I discover Will's chewing his teeth, so the other day I had, like, four fingers in Matthew Morrison's mouth."

Carl will also be administering anesthesia to hygienically challenged students Rachel, Artie, Brittany and Santana, inspiring a dreamy sequence that will take them into the world of Britney Spears. "Poor Brittany has cavities in every tooth," says John, who will also appear in the Rocky Horror Picture Show — themed Halloween episode. "I can't tell you what character I'm playing, but I will be singing," he promises. Talk about doing the "Time Warp!"

Glee Gets Reality TV Spin-off

Hit musical comedy Glee is getting the reality TV treatment, an unscripted spin-off is reportedly set to debut next year.

Bosses at cable TV network Oxygen have acquired syndication rights to the Fox channel's high school musical series starring Matthew Morrison and Jane Lynch, with plans to begin airing reruns in 2013.

And network executives are planning to launch a reality companion series in the mean time, reports Entertainment Weekly. Details of the spin-off show have yet to be released.

A proposed Glee reality show, in which unknowns would compete to appear in episodes of the fictional show alongside its stars, was reportedly scrapped by Fox bosses last week.
