Steven Daigle, of Big Brother 10 and most recently gay porn fame, has been arrested for allegedly beating ex-boyfriend and fellow porn star Trent Locke.
According to TMZ, the US Big Brother 10 contestant fought Locke in West Hollywood on Monday after an argument erupted between the two.
Daigle was later arrested and charged with one count of misdemeanour battery while Locke was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
"[I am] deeply embarrassed," Locke said from his hotel room. "[I] would never take a swing at [Steven]. And I did not."
Daigle is said to still be behind bars and is being held on $20,000 bail. He could face up to one year in prison if convicted.
Michael "Mike" Verdugo, the fired Hollywood officer who once appeared in a gay porn film, can keep his police certification, a 19-member state panel ruled Thursday.
"We won,'' Verdugo, 36, told The Miami Herald just after the Florida Department of Law Enforcement hearing in Tampa. "They voted unanimously. We're done. My certification stands. I'm happy. Shocked -- in a good way.''
Hollywood Police Lt. Scott Pardon, a department spokesman, declined to comment on the FDLE ruling, which places Verdugo on a one-year probationary period and requires him to take a state-approved ethics-training course.
The Hollywood Police Department fired Verdugo last year for not disclosing previous employment -- the porn film -- on his job application, his lawyers said.
Verdugo, who also was a former Design Star contestant on HGTV, has sued to get his job back. The case is scheduled to be heard in November in Broward Circuit Court.
"Now this really puts the cards in Mikey's hand, the appeal of Mikey's arbitration,'' said Wilton Manors attorney George Castrataro, who is handling the case for free.
Castrataro said he believes the arbitrator in the case "didn't have a strong comfort level at all with LGBT [lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender] issues.''
The case went to arbitration, and the department fired Verdugo after a 1996 video turned up online showing the future cop in a 15-minute bondage scene from a gay porn flick called Rope Rituals. HGTV also dumped Verdugo from Design Star, a reality program in which 12 home designers compete for their own TV show.
Verdugo, who grew up in Hialeah and was known on TV as Mikey V, says he made the film for $700 at age 22 as a way of exploring his sexuality.
He performed nude, but didn't engage in hard-core sex, he said.
Three years later, he decided to become a police officer.
Verdugo said it never occurred to him to put the movie on his résumé when he first became a Lauderhill cop in 1999 or when he applied to the Hollywood department two years later.
Raging Stallion Studios has allegedly offered Ricky Martin $1 million to perform in a sex scene with Austin Wilde.
Raging Stallion's Chris Ward says, "We felt that Ricky Martin would be a perfect fit for Raging Stallion. Men have been fantasizing about having sex with him for years. We are no exception. Our fans would love to see Ricky and Austin. Austin is one of our hottest guys, and who better to put in bed with Ricky Martin?"
Really? Less than a month after Ricky Martin admits that he is gay, a gay porn studio offers him a million dollars to appear in a movie? This has to be a publicity stunt by Raging Stallion Studios if it is true at all. There is no way that they could possibly expect Martin to accept their offer. While his music career has be less than spectacular over the last few years, I would assume that he still has some respect for himself and would not reduce himself to being part of such a thing. Ricky Martin has more talent and skill that could be better used for positive ventures than to be reduced to appearing in porn.
Nice try Raging Stallion Studios but Ricky Martin will have to pass on that offer.
Michael Verdugo’s 15 minutes of porn film fame cost him his job as a Hollywood police officer and his budding career as “Mikey V” of HGTV’s Design Star.
Verdugo is fighting to get back his police job and is preparing to sue the police department for discrimination.
Hollywood Police fired Verdugo — and Design Star dumped him — after a 1996 video turned up on the Internet showing the future cop in a 15-minute bondage scene from a gay porn flick called Rope Rituals.
“I don’t regret it,” Verdugo, 35, said of his one-time appearance at age 22 in porn, three years before he became a police officer. “It was a time in my life that I wanted to explore.”
Verdugo — billed as Jeremy Wess in Rope Rituals — said he performed nude in the short scene, but didn’t engage in hardcore sex. “It was all role-playing bondage. I was tied. I used handcuffs later on in my career.”
Just after the video turned up in July 2008, Design Star uninvited Mikey V from a reunion episode. Hollywood Police put Verdugo on administrative leave with pay. An investigation followed and the department fired him in January 2009 for not disclosing on his police application that he had made the porn film. An arbitrator recently upheld the termination.
Now, Verdugo has asked his attorney, Alberto Milian, to file a civil lawsuit against Hollywood Police for wrongful termination and discrimination.
“When you’re a gay cop in a paramilitary organization like law enforcement, a lot of discrimination exists,” said Milian, a Coral Gables criminal defense attorney who also specializes in labor law for police officers and firefighters. “He was a damn good cop. This guy was an asset and there’s no doubt his talents were very useful to the people of Hollywood.”
Fans of 22-year-old John Gechter know him as "Vincent DeSalvo." What type of fans? Porn consuming fans, that's who. Gechter stars under that name for adult sites like RandyBlue.com. Only problem? The administration as the Christian university Grove City College found out about it — and suspended him.
Gechter, who says he used the porn income to pay tuition, is appealing the suspension and weighing legal action.

As I was about to exit, I showed the next officer my card and apparently the little note meant to direct me further to another screening area. The secondary control procedure was a slow one. Every other person was an Asian foreigner who needed a translator. The ever-so clever and sluggish customs workers seemed to enjoy mocking them.
Eventually I got to my second interrogator. He fed me the same tedious questions that I had already went over. Then he got his amateur Scooby-Doo sleuth on. He questioned if I had cash or credit cards. I responded that I only had $300 cash because I forgot my wallet at home. He found it unbelievable that I could survive on such little funds for my 24-hour trip. He rudely questioned, 'Do you really expect me to believe this?' and I fittingly responded, 'Absolutely.' I supplied proof that my hotel and transportation fees had already been paid. He questioned why I was staying in a five-star hotel and who was paying for this. He yawnfully threatened me with, 'Do you understand that I have the authority to force you on a plane back?' to which I calmly responded with another, 'Absolutely'. I continued to sit idle and destroy his idiotic quiz. Then Nancy Drew wanted to call my friend who set up my trip. After that satisfying chat he signed me off to proceed.
Lastly, in this torture chamber assembly line, I was to have all my bags emptied and rummaged through. Of course I had my movies on me, a stack of nude pictures to sign and lube. The essentials. Homophobia was running rampant with these captors and they were highly offended by said essentials. They questioned why I had so many images that depict me nude– I told them it was for my friends who enjoy my movies. They wanted to make sure I was not planning on selling my devil films to their innocent public. I assured them that the despicably sinful merchandise was only for my friends…lest they captors would pistol whip me.
Finally after two hours of incessant questioning trying to dig up anything so that they could banish a gay porn star back across the border, I was granted my freedom.
Actor, producer and adult industry legend Jack Wrangler died today in New York City. He had been suffering from complications from lung disease.
Wrangler enjoyed a prolific career encompassing scores of gay and straight adult films throughout the 1970s and '80s, and his life and career was the subject of 2008 documentary "Wrangler: Anatomy of an Icon." He was 62 years old.
Wrangler is survived by his wife, cabaret chanteuse Margaret Whiting. Their surprise marriage in 1994 reignited Wrangler's tabloid notoriety, but the partnership endured.
"The world just lost a gay hero," director and Channel 1 Releasing principal Chi Chi LaRue.
His blond, rugged good looks, deep voice and confident swagger came to define masculinity for a generation of gay men. Wrangler was among the first erotic performers to capitalize on his fame with a variety of products and personal appearances at nightclubs and bathhouses.
He first worked as a child actor. Post-adult, Wrangler fostered a successful career as a theatre producer, director and composer, and conceived the 1997 Broadway production "Dream: The Johnny Mercer Musical."
Director Jeffrey Schwarz enticed the reticent performer to be interviewed for the documentary that became "Wrangler: Anatomy of an Icon," which last month won the GAYVN Award for Best Alternative Release for its distributor, TLA Releasing.
The film introduced Wrangler to a new generation of fans. Gossip columnist and culture vulture Perez Hilton commemorated the passing on his popular blog, a sign of Wrangler's status as a pop icon.
"Making this film was a great opportunity to pay tribute to a man who lived his life with grace, humor and confidence," Schwarz said. "Jack and the filmmakers he worked with were true pioneers in the industry, and I hope this film can remind us that porn can be revolutionary, inspirational and just plain fun."
"Jack was one of the earlier pioneers in helping to bring awareness to the gay community by being open about who he was and about following his dreams," said Lewis Tice, director of marketing and publicity for TLA Releasing.
"We are deeply saddened as he is an essential part of our gay history. Our sympathies go out to his family."

Which is why we're all over Billboard-charting dance artist Ron Perkov's new CD "Intimate Chill-Out", an ambient collection of music that sounds like it could be a soundtrack to one hell of a hot sex session. And guess what? It is.
After a chance meeting with Colt Studios Marketing Director and Buckshot director Kristofer Weston on Fire Island, Perkov offered his services as a composer. Weston decided to take him up on his offer, hiring Perkov to compose the score for the upcoming Buckshot Video release "Boy Country".
"When I first heard Ron's music, I closed my eyes and got off on the beautiful voice and harmonies and knew instantly it would work well for a sex scene," Weston tells Unzipped. "His music is very relaxing and sexy."
Using his CD as his jumping-off point, Perkov fashioned a dreamy, atmospheric soundtrack of sounds that ebb flows with the action in Boy Country, foregoing the dark, dungeon-style music that has become commonplace is so much of today's adult films.
"I approached the job very carefully, watching each scene from beginning to end to decide how I wanted to tie my CD with the DVD," Perkov says. "I wanted them to coincide with each other so if someone was watching the film and liked my music, my CD would be very similar. I took out all the vocals, though. I didn't think the vocals were appropriate for this type of film."
To his delight, Perkov found the job to be rather, er, stimulating. "For me, I like music with a beat but not too dance-oriented—more like a Buddha Bar-type feel with a very European flavor—that you can relax to. I took a similar approach to music for Boy Country. If it was a b*** j**, I would not add as many instrumental sounds as if it was full-blown f***ing. From the b*** j** to the f***ing, I was slowly building up the musical sound adding more instruments as the actors were getting more into it, so would the music build, sort of like climbing to a climax."
Weston says he was so impressed with Perkov's score that he hopes to work with him again soon—in more ways than one. "Ron is so handsome. When I first met him, I wanted to put him in a movie as well, but had to settle for just his music. Maybe he'll change his mind for our next movie."
According to Perkov, Weston just might have a shot at getting his wish. "I'm a little shy!" he giggles. "I think I'll just stick to doing music instead for now, but you never know. I never say never."
