Oprah Winfrey Regains Her Power – on Forbes List

Oprah Winfrey is back on top.

A year after slipping to No. 2 on Forbes' annual Celebrity 100 list, the media queen regained her crown as 2010's most powerful star worth an estimated $315 million.

Last year's title holder, Angelina Jolie, fell 17 spots while Beyoncé climbed to No. 2 with $87 million in earnings (husband Jay-Z landed the No. 15 spot).

The list – determined by a celebrity's earnings and fame – placed Avatar director James Cameron, who pocketed $210 million, at the No. 3 ranking. Lady Gaga and Tiger Woods rounded out the top five.

It was also a good year for Grammy Award winner Taylor Swift, who jumped up to No. 12 from 69, and Twilight stars Robert Pattinson (No. 50) and Kristen Stewart (No. 66). The popular franchise also helped author Stephenie Meyer earn a No. 59 ranking.

Angelina Jolie Doesn't Want Too Big of a Family

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have built a large family, and despite the rumors, it's not likely to get too much bigger – as the actress is concerned about having enough time for each child as they grow up.

Asked if she and Pitt want a seventh child, Jolie, 35, tells Vanity Fair: "We're not opposed to it. But we want to make sure we can give everybody special time."

It's easy when they're small, she says, and don't require much emotional support. But as they get older, "they're going to need a lot more talking in the middle of the night, like I did with my mom for hours. We want to make sure we don't build a family so big that we don't have absolutely enough time to raise them each really well."

The children's personalities are all blooming, Jolie says – particularly Shiloh, who turned 4 last month and seems to be taking her cues from big brothers Maddox and Pax. "She likes to dress like a boy. She wants to be a boy," Jolie says. "So, we had to cut her hair. She likes to wear boys' everything. She thinks she's one of the brothers."

Among the other kids, Maddox is the intellectual, while Zahara has "an extraordinary voice and is just so elegant and well spoken." And the twins, Knox and Vivienne, who will turn 2 next month, "are classic boy and girl," Jolie says. "She's really female. And he's really a little dude."

While family has clearly become Jolie's top priority, acting has become a secondary pursuit – one she might give up entirely in the not-too-distant future. "I don't think I'll do it much longer," she says. "Because I have a happy home. ... I got back from work last night, and everybody was playing music and dancing, and I suddenly found myself dancing around with a bunch of little fun crazy people."

And what about finally getting married to Pitt, 46, her longtime partner? Also not an issue on the front burner. They're not against it, Jolie says, but "it's just like we already are. Children are clearly a commitment, a bigger commitment [than marriage]. It's for life."

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Sue Over Split Story

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have issued a legal statement asserting that they are not about to split.

The couple's lawyer, Keith Schilling, said Monday that the pair had commenced proceedings against Britain's News of the World for making "false allegations about their relationship" – and said that the reports are not true.

"We can confirm unequivocally ... that the allegations published by the News of the World are false as well as intrusive," said Schilling in a statement.

The U.K. paper had reported that Jolie, 34, and Pitt, 46, had met with a divorce lawyer and were headed for a split.

According to Schilling, Sorrell Trope, who was identified in some media reports as the lawyer representing the couple, submitted a statement saying, "I have had no contact from them ... Angelina Jolie and/or Brad Pitt. I have never met your ... clients or had any involvement with either of them."

When news broke of a possible impending split between the superstar couple, sources close to them told said that the story was not true.

On Sunday, Pitt and Jolie publicly showed their affection for each other by kissing, cuddling and cheering when they took son Maddox to the Super Bowl.

Brad & Angelina's Affectionate Night Out

What breakup?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie stepped out Saturday night to attend the Directors Guild of America Awards in Los Angeles – and observers say the couple were as happy as can be.

"They looked very giggly," said an onlooker.

Pitt, who was at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza to introduce his Inglourious Basterds director Quentin Tarantino, was an attentive companion to Jolie, a surprise guest, who wore a gray, single-shoulder Elie Saab gown with gold hoop earrings by Ofira Schwartz, Stuart Weitzman shoes and a vintage bag.

Pitt, whose curious beard has been trimmed, pulled Jolie's chair out for her and touched her back throughout the night as they chatted animatedly with Tarantino at a table of colleagues from their film.

"They look like they are having a fun time," says an onlooker of the couple as they worked the room. "It's definitely a date."

Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie Were 'Out at Dinner' When Split Rumors Broke

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie weren't fretting over recent false reports that they were headed for splitsville. As the rumor mill was spinning out of control, the couple of nearly five years were enjoying some quiet time together, says a source.

"Angie and Brad were actually out to dinner together in Los Angeles when the rumor broke," says the source. "That's how ridiculous [the story] is."

At the time, multiple sources reported the rumor, which originated in a British tabloid, was "totally false."

Currently, the pair are sharing family time in Los Angeles with their kids Maddox, 8, Pax, 6, Zahara, 5, Shiloh, 3, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 18 months.

As for whether Hollywood's golden couple will attend this year's Academy Awards together in March, at the moment their schedule includes filming so they don't have plans to be there, says a source

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Split Rumors Not True, Say Sources

While reports are swirling that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are headed for a split, multiple sources close to the family have said that the rumors are false.

"Everything is fine" with the couple, who are parents to six kids, a source says.

Another source says the split reports, which were first published in a British tabloid, are "totally false."

In recent weeks, it's been business as usual for the busy couple – movie shoots, family outings, charity work – and several observers say they saw nothing amiss.

Couple Time

On January 2nd, Pitt, 46, and Jolie, 34, shared a romantic dinner for two at the French restaurant Le Perigord. "You could tell they wanted to spend time alone and didn't want to be bothered by anybody else," says a source. "It was wonderful to see a couple so much in love."

Busy Work Schedules

With filming wrapped, the two headed back to Los Angeles to work on pre-production for their upcoming movies: Jolie's The Tourist and Pitt's Lost City of Z. On January 16th, Pitt took their eldest son, Maddox, on a boys' trip to the New Orleans Saints' playoff game, while Jolie was spotted grocery shopping and dropping by an Apple Store in L.A. with daughters Zahara and Shiloh.

In the last few days, Jolie reportedly jetted to New York City for a Vanity Fair photo shoot, while Pitt stayed in L.A. to participate in friend George Clooney’s Hope for Haiti Now telethon. (Both Pitt and Jolie made major donations to the relief effort.) Pitt didn’t attend Saturday's Screen Actors Guild Awards, where his Inglourious Basterds picked up the award for best ensemble cast.

Brad and Angelina Break-Up...Is This a Hoax Too?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are calling it quits, according to the Daily Mail.

The Hollywood power couple is reportedly meeting with lawyers to negotiate a division of assets totaling $330 million.

Preparations for the break-up began in December when Brad and Angelina met with a top Los Angeles divorce firm to work out details of their split.

Legal documents allegedly signed earlier this week reveal they plan to split their vast fortune and share custody of their children.

“The document was signed in early January. ”The contract was like a tailor-made version of a pre-nuptial agreement except for an unmarried couple’s split. It seemed clear they want the world to know they’ll both play a part in the upbringing of the children.” a source told News of the World.

While the agreement gives them joint custody, the children – three of whom are adopted – will live with Angelina.

The news comes after months of speculation that Brangelina’s five-year relationship was on the rocks. There were reports on January 6 of a heated argument between Pitt and Jolie at Altos restaurant in New York. Sources said Pitt demanded Jolie get psychiatric help for the depression she has suffered from since the death of her mother three years ago.

Reps from both the Pitt and Jolie camps have declined to comment.

The gay actress and TV personality has revealed Jolie once gave her her telephone number and the odd couple chatted, but the relationship never went any further.

In a radio chat with DJ Howard Stern on Monday, O'Donnell recalled, "We talked on the phone two or three times, but that was that. There was a tentative plan to have dinner that never came through.

"I was a little afraid of her. She’s scary in a sexual kind of way."

But she has never been able to get Jolie out of her mind: "I have dreams about her a lot still."

The Changeling star reportedly experimented with her sexuality before she wed Thornton - actress/model Jenny Shimizu has often claimed she was involved in a romance with the star a decade ago.

Brad Pitt: Talks About Marriage & Gay Children

Brad Pitt is busy promoting his upcoming film Inglourious Bastards out later this month and gives a candid interview to Parade Magazine.

In it, the vocal supporter of same-sex marriage discussed the flak he took for stating that he and Angelina Jolie would not be getting married until everyone had the same right.

“I have love in my life, a soul mate–absolutely,” he said. “When someone asked me why Angie and I don’t get married, I replied, ‘Maybe we’ll get married when it’s legal for everyone else.’ I stand by that, although I took a lot of flak for saying it–hate mail from religious groups. I believe everyone should have the same rights. They say gay marriage ruins families and hurts kids. Well, I’ve had the privilege of seeing my gay friends being parents and watching their kids grow up in a loving environment.”

On his kids - he and Jolie have six children: “Would it bother me if a child of mine turns out to be gay? No, not one bit. Listen, I want my kids to live the lives they want to live. I want them to be fulfilled. I hope I teach my kids to be who they really are.”

Jolie And Pitt To Adopt From India?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are to extend their multinational brood with a child from India, according to reports.

The pair already has three adopted children - Maddox, seven, from Cambodia, Pax, four, from Vietnam and Zahara, three, from Ethiopia - as well as biological daughter Shiloh, two, and their seven-month-old twins Vivienne and Knox.

Jolie recently revealed plans to adopt from India when she met the child stars of Oscar-winning film Slumdog Millionaire.

When ten year old Azharuddin Mohammed Ismail asked the Tomb Raider star why she hadn't adopted from his home country, she replied, "Well, I'll let you into a little secret, we will soon."

A source tells British newspaper the Sunday Express that the couple originally showed interest in adopting from India when they visited the country's Priya Darshini Orphanage in 2006, but were too busy to finalise the details.

The insider says, "They filled out all the paperwork but had to put the adoption on hold because of all their other commitments."
