British Actor, John Barrowman had tried, without success, to make it in US prime-time television with the mid-90s CBS soap Central Park West then about five years later with NBC’s short-lived Titans. Both were star-studded Dynasty knockoffs that did not click with the public.Well now news comes that Barrowman, who stuck gold with Torchwood in the UK, is joining an established hit, Desperate Housewives. The show will be all the more delicious for his presence.
The Daily Mail reports that Barrowman will fly to Los Angeles in March to film several episodes. He will be the show’s main villain in the last section of the current season.
No word yet on who his character will be inter-connecting with on the hit show. Hopefully they decided on a juicy storyline with the resident gay couple, Bob (Tuc Watkins) and Lee (Kevin Rahm).
