I have been enjoying American Idol since it's first season and each year I pick one or two favorites from the beginning as the ones to watch. My picks have included Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Chris Daughtry, Nadia Turner, Carly Smithson, David Cook and now the phenomenon...Adam Lambert.
Never in the eight year history of American Idol have I "loved" a performer as much as I love the incredible and authentically talented Adam. Each week Adam has selected the right song has made it his own. And, if he wins (or not) it will not really matter as Adam has the word "SUPERSTAR" written all over him.
I've enjoyed all of his performance, however his rendition this week of Tears for Fears' "Mad World" brought me chills and goosebumps. He definitely made it his own and should eventually release it as a single.
Here's the video, in case you missed the live performance on Tuesday night.
