America Ferrera is set to executive produce a modern-day version of Romeo & Juliet for MTV called Pedro & Maria!The Ugly Betty actress, who turns 26 this coming weekend, will join former NBC co-chairman Ben Silverman and Procter & Gamble in the project and an interactive content platform to accompany it!
According to Deadline, viewers will be able to vote on the direction of the storyline and characters through Facebook and Twitter!
