David & Victoria Beckham Expecting Baby No. 4

The Beckham brood continues to expand!

"David and Victoria Beckham are delighted to confirm they are expecting their fourth child in the summer," their rep told People magazine.

"Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz are very excited about the arrival of their new brother or sister."

With three sons ages 11, 8 and 5½, the Beckhams admitted to having a full house – but said they were willing to expand.

"I think one day, if we're blessed to have more children, it would be amazing," Victoria, 36, said when asked about additional kids with her soccer star husband. "It's a lot having three boys ... But who knows, one day?"

It appears that day has come.

Simon Fuller, the Beckham's mentor and long term business partner, was the first to congratulate the couple.

"I'm absolutely thrilled for them," Fuller said. "Family means everything to David and Victoria and this is simply the best news they and the boys could have wished for at the start of 2011."

Soccer Stud Takes Place of Becks (and His Pecs!) in Emporio Armani Underwear Ads

It’s the changing of the models at Armani this week.

First Megan Fox made her sexy debut, replacing Victoria Beckham. Now, the design house is offering a sneak peek at their new men’s campaigns, featuring David Beckham’s hot, new replacement in the Emporio Armani Underwear campaign as well as the Armani Jeans ads.

Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo strips down for print ads and billboards rolling out in February.

”I am very flattered to be asked to represent Armani,” Cristiano said in a statement. “I am very pleased with the pictures we have done together — they are certainly striking and are full of an attitude and spirit that I can relate to.”

We couldn’t agree more.

American Idol Premieres with Emotional Audition

Tuesday was audition night in Boston for the beginning of a historic season of American Idol: the last with Simon Cowell, the first without Paula Abdul. Her departure was noted at the start — and then in came guest judge Victoria Beckham, who had an odd way of batting her eyes and cocking her head when she heard a voice that interested her. Some people find her funny but that lady scares me!

The two-hour premiere, which sent 32 performers on to Hollywood with fabled golden tickets, was big on inspirational stories. The first put through to L.A. was possibly the nicest contestant of all time: Maddy Curtis, 16, is the ninth of 12 children and has several brothers with Down syndrome (most of them adopted). Simon paid her a high compliment: “You’re not annoying.” Then there was Katie Stevens, also 16, who sang in honor of a grandmother suffering from Alzheimer’s. (Katie performed a surprisingly lusty version “At Last.”) And Justin Williams, now 27, recounted his victory over cancer. A vocal coach, he apparently has all sorts of vocal tricks at his disposal — he should do very, very well.

Some other promising picks: Tyler Grady, who looked like a pencil-thin rocker of the old school and came in with both arms in casts (he’d fallen out of a tree); Ashley Rodriguez, impeccably put-together with just the right degree of commercial gloss; and Leah Laurenti, who sang “Blue Skies” with a pure, strong voice (she doubtless got bonus points for being sincerely farklempt).

The show didn’t go overboard, as it has been known to do, with awful auditions. A lot of airtime was devoted to a guy named Andrew Fenlon, who came in hostile and sulky after a day of waiting. (You almost wondered if he was Ashton Kutcher in chunky glasses punking the panel.) His attitude ticked off both Kara DioGuardi and Victoria, although Simon (rightly) warmed up to him. He actually had one of the best voices of the night. But he was sent home.

Favorite judge’s comment of the night: Victoria’s backhanded compliment to a failed contestant — she said, “I think you’re probably perfect working in retail.” And she would know!

Spice Girls to Have Their Own 'American Idol'-Style TV Show

The Spice Girls are not only going back on tour, they're hosting a talent TV show in the UK to find stand-ins for an upcoming musical about the girls.

The group, consisting of Mel C, Mel B, Geri Halliwell, Victoria Beckham and Emma Bunton, are planning to use the winners to play the 5 Spices for a production in London’s West End theatre district. The show, rumored to be called "Spice Idol," will be run American Idol-style with judging panel who dispense criticism and advice to hundreds of hopefuls. Will they get a Simon Cowell, too?

A source told Britain’s The Sun newspaper: "This is an idea which appeals to all of the original members. It's a fantastic new way to broaden out the Spice franchise and cash in on their personalities, their story and their songs. The girls would have to work intensely on a TV show for a short period of time. But then they can launch a musical which could run for months or even years. It will take on a life of its own. The concept could even be replicated in other countries. The sky is the limit with this one."

Geri is said to be the driving force behind the musical, which has been described as a two-hour "pop extravaganza." The Spice Girls, who formed in 1994, last performed together in Toronto, Canada, in February 2008.

David Beckham Shows Off His Rosy Tattoo

David Beckham didn't get his wife, Victoria Beckham, any ordinary anniversary gift to celebrate 10 years of marriage: He got a tattoo.

"Yeah, I [got] 10 roses around my arms," the inked soccer, 34, star tells Ellen DeGeneres on the September 8th season premiere of her chat show.

DeGeneres then wonders aloud if Beckham ever thinks about "getting a tattoo of me anywhere on your body." He replies: "I'm very tempted."

As for how he and Victoria, 35, keep their marriage fresh after 10 years and three kids together, he says, "We always try to do special things. It's not always about buying gifts for each other. We just make sure that we spend time together or go for dinner together and do special things. That is important to us."

One of the things they did together was pose in some sexy Emporio Armani underwear ads. "We never get a chance to work together and when we do, it's amazing," says Beckham. "It was great to work with her on the day."

Victoria Beckham Hopes Simon Cowell Gives Her a Hard Time

Victoria Beckham plans to be the nice judge when it comes to critiquing contestants on American Idol — but she expects to trade some not-so-nice barbs with prickly judge Simon Cowell.

“I like that fact that’s he’s honest. I think he’s very funny,” Beckham told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Friday. “He has a very tongue-in-cheek British sense of humor, which I have too. I’m looking forward to a bit of banter. I hope he does give me a little bit of a hard time. I love that. I feed off of that.”

Beckham, 35, says she doesn’t know Cowell well, but has one very pointed memory of him. “He is the only man in the music industry who turned down the Spice Girls and said we would never work,” Beckham said with a laugh.

Asked if she plans follow in the footsteps of Paula Abdul, who’s always been the most kind and nurturing judge on the show, Beckman says, “I want to be nice to people. I know how it feels to stand there and be judged … I don’t want to shatter anybody’s dream, but at the same time there’s nothing wrong with constructive criticism.”

As for whether she feels guilty replacing Abdul, she says, “I don’t. I’m a spiritual person and I believe that you get back whet you put out there, and I hope she does something that is bigger and better …. There’s something great for her around the corner, I’m sure.”

So how should prospective contestants aim to please Posh Spice? “What I’m looking for [in an Idol winner] is a great singer and somebody who has that star quality. It’s about the whole package.”

One other quality the fashion-savvy star would like to see: a contestant who possesses “natural style.”

Beckham is currently in Denver, where she’s set to participate in the first round of auditions for the upcoming season of American Idol.

Victoria Beckham to Be Guest Judge on Idol

As the dust settles on the shocking departure of Paula Abdul, 47, from next season’s American Idol, now comes confirmation from Victoria Beckham’s publicist that the former Posh Spice, 35, will make a “one-off appearance” as a guest judge on the top-rated FOX show, according to Britain’s Sky News.

Just don’t expect Beckham to take up a permanent perch next to judges Simon Cowell, Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi — as she reportedly doesn’t wish to take time away from overseeing her fashion line.

Victoria Beckham in Sex and the City Sequel

Victoria Beckham has accepted a cameo role in the upcoming Sex and the City sequel. The new film project will start shooting on location in New York City in August.

Beckham was offered a walk-on role in the first movie but had to turn it down because she was heavily involved in her Spice Girls Tour. She was up for another opportunity when the sequel was announced and has even taken some acting lessons in anticipation.

Beckham made an appearance on season two of Ugly Betty and also appeared as a guest judge on Project Runway.

The original four cast members, Kristin Davis, Cynthia Nixon, Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker, have all completed their contract negotiations, reportedly for a substantially better payday than they received for their work in the first film.

The Beckhams Want Baby Number Four

David And Victoria Beckham are trying for baby number four - and they're desperate to add a girl to their brood.

The high-profile couple already has sons Brooklyn, 10, Romeo, six, and Cruz, four, but soccer star Beckham is hoping for a female addition to the family in the near future.

He says, "I really want more kids and I hope it happens soon. I want a little girl. That would be amazing."

Last August, former Spice Girl Victoria appeared to rule out more children for the couple, insisting she was "far too busy" to fall pregnant.

David Beckham Denies Affair with Model

The latest controversy surrounding David Beckham and his wife Victoria Beckham are reports that David has been carrying on an affair with Hungarian model Mariann Fogarasy.

It has been alleged that David and Mariann enjoyed a candlelit dinner together after his game in Budapest. They were said to have been photographed together. No photographs have been leaked to the media.

Coming up on his 10 year wedding anniversary with Victoria in July, David is denying any extra-marital affairs. “I have no desire for another woman. I only love Victoria. Ninety percent of everything written about us is invented. The last one was this story about the Hungarian model. I have never been out to dinner with this young lady.”

It isn’t often that the pro soccer player takes time to deny rumors and he said he wouldn’t have time to have a career if he did so all the time.

Beckham: Inside Me There is a Gay Man Who Wants to Come Out

Former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham has said she has more in common with gay men than other women.

The wife of footballer David Beckham, is close friends with prominent gays Sir Elton John and his partner David Furnish.

In an interview with the Italian version of Vanity Fair she said:

"I love women. I like them as friends, as interesting people to speak with. But I love gay men. I always say it. Inside me there is a gay man who wants to come out!

"With heterosexual men I have nothing in common - excluding my husband, brothers and father, you understand."

Mrs Beckham also revealed she would like to have a daughter - she has three sons with David, who plays for LA Galaxy but has been loaned to AC Milan.

Last year the England star said that his famous Giorgio Armani underwear ads were all him and no digital manipulation of his bulge took place.

“When people talk to me about being a gay icon I think of it as a great honor," he told GQ. "To have that kind of effect on so many people around the world, I was honored.”
