Cristiano Ronaldo Heats Up Emporio Armani’s New Underwear Ads

Sexy soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo is causing quite a commotion with his newest ads for Emporio Armani.

Just in time for World Cup madness — and the matchup between Portugal and the Ivory Coast — images of Portugal’s scorching hot team captain for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans’ fall/winter 2010-2011 campaign have been unveiled.

Shot on location in Madrid, where the 24-year-old sex symbol also serves as a forward for Real Madrid, the sultry shots will make their global debut in July, appearing on billboards in major cities including New York, Los Angeles and London as well as online.

Lucky fans in Milan will be treated to an ad image from Armani Jeans featuring Cristiano this week on June 17th on a billboard on the Via Broletto.

Come September, a short film and online commercial featuring Cristiano will also be released. Until then, we’ll let these hot images speak for themselves!

It’s the changing of the models at Armani this week.

First Megan Fox made her sexy debut, replacing Victoria Beckham. Now, the design house is offering a sneak peek at their new men’s campaigns, featuring David Beckham’s hot, new replacement in the Emporio Armani Underwear campaign as well as the Armani Jeans ads.

Shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo strips down for print ads and billboards rolling out in February.

”I am very flattered to be asked to represent Armani,” Cristiano said in a statement. “I am very pleased with the pictures we have done together — they are certainly striking and are full of an attitude and spirit that I can relate to.”

After four sizzling seasons of David Beckham as the face and barely-clad body for Emporio Armani Men’s Underwear, he is taking a seat on the sidelines to make way for another international soccer sensation — Cristiano Ronaldo!

Giorgio Armani announced this morning that the player for Spanish club Real Madrid and the national Portuguese team will be the “new official worldwide testimonial” for Emporio Armani Men’s Underwear and Armani Jeans starting from Spring/Summer 2010.

Posh & Becks Strip Down for Sexy Armani Ad

As if David and Victoria Beckham’s individual campaigns for Emporio Armani underwear weren’t scorchingly hot enough, the gorgeous couple has come together to pose for the newest round of ads for the fall 2009 campaign.

Photographed by renowned fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, the campaign was shot in Milan, where Armani is headquartered.

You can expect to see the sexy ads not only in fashion magazines, but also on major billboards in cities such as New York, Los Angeles, London, Milan, Rome, Paris and Tokyo starting this month.

Hopefully they won’t distract too many drivers on the road!

David Beckham Unveils His Latest Armani Underwear Ads

Soccer season may be over until he returns to the LA Galaxy in July, but David Beckham is still driving the crowds wild!

The star turned up at Selfridge’s in London to unveil the fall/winter Emporio Armani underwear campaign to a screaming crowd that even braved the London train strike to see Becks.

Armani says of Beckham, “David has a great sense of style and is an inspiring role model – this is what makes him the perfect partner for Emporio Armani underwear. I am very excited that David Beckham’s new campaign image was unveiled exclusively in his home country and where better than at such an iconic retail destination as Selfridges.”

Beckham admits to a case of nerves over the campaign, but only at the unveilings! “I don’t mind having the photograph taken but it’s a little bit embarrassing when it’s unveiled.”

Although it’s not all stressful, with Beckham saying of seeing his billboards, “I don’t know about it giving me a buzz but I’m very proud of it.”

We think that David’s ads just keep getting hotter and hotter!
