Twilight's Kellan Lutz & Peter Facinelli Shoot Down Gay Rumors

Twilight father and son Peter Facinelli and Kellan Lutz have dismissed murmurings of a secret gay romance after photos surfaced of the two actors holding hands.

Both stars find the gossip amusing, with Lutz joking there are far more damning shots of the pair together.

He tells http://www.eonline.com/, "It's the naked one (photo) of us in the bubble bath that would really get us into trouble!"

Facinelli is also poking fun at the fuss - posting the picture on his Twitter.com blog and quipping, "Co-stars caught holding hands... Guess this picture proves everything."

And the actor, who is married to 90210 star Jennie Garth, jokes, "We're just friends. It's weird how rumors get started. You're holding hands with a friend and then the rumors begin."

Facinelli reveals the paparazzi snap was taken in April: "We were coming off a plane and the paparazzi were all over us so we were just being goofy. At one point, we even pulled out a Twilight book and started reading it. If they wanted a circus, we were going to give them a good show."

Ironically, Lutz has been romantically linked to AnnaLynne McCord - a castmate of Facinelli's wife on 90210 - but he dismissed dating reports during a recent radio interview.

The actor told Los Angeles DJ Ryan Seacrest he and McCord had been friends since they were both Abercrombie & Fitch models - but they have never dated.

How Robert Pattinson Felt Doing His New Moon 'Striptease'

When Robert Pattinson bared his glistening chest in Italy last spring, Twi-hards nearly went blind. Now, the Twilight hunk breaks his silence on nearly taking it all off in New Moon!

"I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off," he told Parade.com. "I was essentially doing a striptease."

And although Team Edward devotees went berserk over the sight of his bare torso, Pattinson said shooting the scene in front of his fans – who flew across the world to be a part of the crowd – helped him connect with them on a deeper level.

"It was also one of the moments where I've really felt closest to people's emotional attachment to Edward," he says. "It was a moment where I've felt the whole weight of anticipation, and I guess responsibility as well, of being Edward, for all the people who were kind of so obsessed with the stories."

While going shirtless was "very nerve-wracking," the British hunk reveals that seeing a much more ripped Taylor Lautner on the set didn't help his ego.

"I had the same reaction as everybody else," he says of seeing Lautner for the first time. "It's like, 'Jeez, now I have to go to the gym.' "

No Nudity In Twilight Sequel

The director of upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon has been forced to deny rumours of nude scenes in the film - after British actor Jamie Campbell-Bower joked about stripping off onscreen.

The movie, which stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, was rumoured to feature more adult content and plenty of bare flesh after Campbell-Bower gave an interview suggesting several characters get fully naked in the picture.

The 20-year-old star, who plays a member of the Volturi vampire clan, told MTV.com, "We just all sit there, completely naked, for one scene. Yeah, it's me, Michael Sheen and Christopher (Heyerdahl); we just sit there, naked."

But Campbell-Bower's interview has infuriated New Moon director Chris Weitz, who has been forced to issue a statement denying the young actor's claims - putting his comments down to his "dry sense of humour".

Weitz states, "I would like to put everyone’s mind at rest and let them know that the Volturi (characters) are not naked! Jamie (Campbell-Bower) has what you might call a dry sense of humour and almost managed to convince me - which is why he’s such a good actor. Anyway, be assured that, even though we do want the look of the Volturi to be a bit of a surprise, they are always - as in the book! - fully clothed."

Twilight’s "New Moon" Sequel has a Nude Scene

First there was the studly wolf pack. Then, the ab-tastic Comic-Con sneak peek of Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson shirtless. Now, according to "New Moon" star Jamie Campbell Bower, the sexy sequel includes a nude scene.

"We just all sit there, completely naked, for one scene," the 20-year-old British actor, who plays Volturi vampire Caius in the upcoming "Twilight" follow-up, revealed to MTV.com.

"Yeah, it's me, Michael Sheen and Christopher (Heyerdahl); we just sit there, naked," he added of his costars, who play Volturi bloodsuckers Aro and Marcus, respectively.

But, Bower adds, it gets "a bit awkward" when Peter Facinelli, who plays vampire dad
Carlisle Cullen
, walks in.

"It's a full-body shot," he said. "(Carlisle) is clothed completely. They're bathing in sort of a Roman bath kind of thing."

"New Moon" will be steaming up movie screens on Nov. 20.

Robert Pattinson has "Breaking" News for "Twilight" Fans

Robert Pattinson, who shot to stardom in "Twilight" and is now filming the second and third movies in the franchise, confirmed Tuesday at the Cannes festival that there will be a fourth installment of the vampire franchise, based on the book "Breaking Dawn."

Pattinson told The Hollywood Reporter that he is committed to starring in the fourth outing but doesn't know when studio Summit Entertainment will begin production because of the actor's jam-packed shooting schedule.

Fans have been hoping for a movie version of the fourth novel from Stephenie Meyer's best-selling series, and Pattinson's commitment is the biggest fillip yet. The fourth book - caution: spoiler alert - centers on Bella and Edward's marriage and her subsequent pregnancy.

Dropping in at the Cannes festival on his way to the final four days of shooting in Italy for "New Moon," the second "Twilight" film, Pattinson said he will return to Vancouver in October to finish up "Eclipse," the third installment. In between, the British actor, who turned 23 last week, plans to star in the romantic drama "Remember Me," which Summit also is producing.

The script adaptation for "New Moon" beefs up his character's role considerably -- in the book, Edward is a "a voice in Bella's head," he said.

Said Pattinson, laughing: "You're playing a figment in Bella's imagination, so I was trying to do it in a 2-D way. I hope it doesn't translate onscreen as being boring."

First look: 'Wolf pack' Actors Grin and Bare It for "New Moon"

Step aside, aloof vampires with all your undead issues. The wolf pack is ready to howl.

Unlike cold-blooded neck biters, these poster guys for animal magnetism are hot. So hot that their temperature runs a steady 108 degrees, as anyone who has read Stephenie Meyer's series of gothic romances knows.

That gives them a great excuse to loose their shirts on-screen and expose the physiques they've been pumping up for playing werewolves in The Twilight Saga: New Moon, the sequel to last year's supernatural sensation, due out on November 20th.

Four actors — Chaske Spencer, Alex Meraz, Kiowa Gordon and Bronson Pelletier, all with Native American heritage — join Taylor Lautner, 17, who returns as a hairier, scarier Jacob Black. The plotline finds Jacob growing closer to a distraught Bella (Kristen Stewart) after her vampire beau, Edward, runs off.

Charlie Bewley: New Moon's Demetri

Newcomer Charlie Bewley has been selected to play the role of Demetri in the upcoming film from the Twilight saga, New Moon.

Demetri is a member of the Volturi, “a venerable coven of vampires who weigh and impose the laws of the vampire world.” He is described as tall and lean, having an olive complexion with a chalky pallor, and dark hair that reaches his shoulders.

The announcement came today from Summit Entertainment’s Erik Feig that principal photography has begun on the film, which is shooting on location in Vancouver, BC, and Tuscany, Italy.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner reprise their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black.

In New Moon, Bella finds herself drawn into the world of werewolves by her growing friendship with Jacob after the abrupt departure of Edward.

This could be Bewley’s big break, as was Twilight for Pattinson. Just a month ago Bewley’s Twitter update read “please let this be the last time i scandalously flirt with the bread line, dear lord.”
