What Makes Julia Roberts Most Beautiful – Still!

When you're the World's Most Beautiful Woman, there are a few things to always remember before leaving the house: Brush your teeth. Don't take longer than the kids to get ready. And leave certain things (hair color and waxing) to trained professionals. Or so says Julia Roberts in an exclusive Q & A to celebrate her fourth turn as the cover girl for People Magazine's Most Beautiful issue.

Though it's hard to believe it's been 20 years since Roberts starred in Pretty Woman, her relaxed vibe about beauty has served her well over the years. "She's never looked more beautiful," says Ryan Murphy, the director of her upcoming film, Eat, Pray, Love, based on the huge bestseller. "She is so happy and fulfilled and it shows."

At 42, the mom of three (twins Hazel and Phinnaeus are 5 and Henry is 2) signed her first beauty contract in January to become Lancome's global ambassador. "It's fun to find myself with this type of new career at my advanced age!" she writes about the gig, in the issue on newsstands Friday.

While Roberts still wows on her rare red-carpet appearances, her beauty team reveals that it never takes more than two hours to get her ready – even for the Oscars. "There is nothing contrived," says her longtime hairdresser Serge Normant. "She believes you have to be comfortable – you have to have a good time."

Still, she does have a few beauty tricks up her sleeve. According to Genevieve, her makeup artist, Roberts uses a moisturizing tint (no heavy foundation – ever), followed by a creamy blush. "Her skin is amazing," says Genevieve. Then comes Roberts's fave part: eyeliner – smudged and sexy. "It's something she can't live without," notes Genevieve. Two coats of mascara, followed by a natural sexy lip "not too shiny" and she can put those 20-something starlets to shame.

But, at home, Roberts favors a more relaxed look: makeup-free and often in yoga pants. It's all part of her easy home life that she's embraced since marrying cameraman Danny Moder, 41. "She seems to have made peace with everything," says Pretty Woman director Garry Marshall, a longtime pal. "He is a laid-back guy. Surfing is his big thing. He's not a driving ambitious husband. They kind of enjoy being with each other without a big circus." And the kids? "They are very cute and have a great joie de vivre, which Julia always had," he says.

Even her old pal George Clooney agrees she's as beautiful inside as out. "There's a reason why Julia is a timeless beauty, and it has nothing to do with the way she looks," he says. "It has everything to do with who she is."

So who else has been selected by People as "Most Beautiful"? Well, you will have to pick-up this Friday's edition of People for details.

Julia Roberts Says Pretty Woman Changed Her Life

Naturally, Julia Roberts has a special place in her heart for her first big flick Pretty Woman because of the way it changed her life. She said: "Pretty Woman had a profound effect on my life, so I have an incredible affection for that movie. But it's like picking your favorite friend, it's impossible. There are different reasons to love all of my movies."

Roberts, who along with her co-star Richard Gere helped the movie rake in over $460 million at the box office, has really enjoyed working with Pretty Woman director Garry Marshall again on the new movie Valentine's Day.

She added to OK! magazine: "He's just one of my favorite people in the world, and I owe my career to him. He took a chance on me when it wasn't the easiest decision to make, and he really stood up for me. He's a great director. It's insane the people that are in Valentines Day. This movie is just about people loving each other and missing out and getting it right, and it's pretty incredible."

The all-star cast of Valentine's Day includes Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner and Anne Hathaway, among others.

Trailer: Valentine's Day

Starring just about everyone in Hollywood, Valentine's Day is out (when else) in February 2010, but that doesn't mean it's too early to promote it.

Watch Julia Roberts tease Bradley Cooper, Jessica Alba seem a tad pathetic, Anne Hathaway make out with Topher Grace, Jessica Biel vent to Jamie Foxx, and more in the new trailer.

The Gary Marshall flick also stars Ashton Kutcher, Shirley MacLaine, Eric Dane, Jennifer Garner and Patrick Dempsey – to name a few.

This will be the movie to watch (but of course) on Valentine's Day!

"Valentine's Day" Woos All-Star Cast

Roberts and Anne Hathaway are among the all-star cast lining up for the romantic comedy "Valentine's Day," to be directed by Garry Marshall.

Joining them in final negotiations to star in the movie are Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Shirley MacLaine, Bradley Cooper and Ashton Kutcher.

The New Line film's five slightly interconnecting stories play out during a Valentine's Day in Los Angeles:

* Roberts is an army officer on leave from Iraq on a flight to Los Angeles. Cooper, on the same flight, is a gay man whose lover is a closeted football player.

* Kutcher is an owner of a flower shop who proposes to his girlfriend (Alba), only to realize he is in love with his close friend, played by Garner, who discovers her boyfriend is married.

* MacLaine plays Roberts' mother, a happy retiree who reveals to her husband a long-ago affair.

* Hathaway is an assistant working at the biggest talent agency in town and dating a mailroom assistant; Biel is a publicist unlucky in love who has no date on Valentine's Day.

Major roles still to be cast are the gay football player, MacLaine's husband, the mailroom worker, a talent agent and a young boy looking to give his crush some flowers.

Katherine Fugate wrote the initial draft, and the latest version of the script is by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein.

Julia Roberts Bares All

She may be the original queen of the romantic comedy, but Julia Roberts still hasn't gotten quite comfortable with kissing co-stars and just recently took it all off for a role.

"I'm like the G-rated actress!" she told Tony Potts.

Roberts recently re-teamed up with Clive Owen to play a pair of corporate spies with a steamy past in "Duplicity". In the film, the mother of three had to show a little more than she's used to. "I sort of...disrobed."

"It is awkward, when you're not kissing your true love," the veteran admitted.

Speaking of true love, the actress is down-shifting from her high-powered career to focus on her family. "I'm not really one to work a lot," she said. "I just want to enjoy [the kids] and be able to fully participate in what's going on with each of them.

"What's the best thing about being a mom to Henry and twins Phinnaeus and Hazel? "That Danny's [Moder, her husband] their dad."

Roberts may be relishing motherhood, but she confirms the couple doesn't have any more plans to add to their brood. She confirms, "we're a trio."
