Did Michael Bolton Survive Dancing's Elimination?

Michael Bolton started off his jive performance with Chelsie Hightower on Monday night Dancing with the Stars in a doghouse, a ballroom prop set up to go with their music selection, Elvis Presley's "Hound Dog."

By the end of the routine, Bolton was in the figurative doghouse with the judges for what Bruno Tonioli called "the worst jive I've ever seen." He gave him just three points, while Carrie Ann Inaba gave him four and Len Goodman gave him five for a total of just 12 out of 30, a season low.

Find out what happened on Tuesday's results show – and if Bolton survived or if he was the second sent home, after David Hasselhoff.

No surprises this time – Bolton is gone. But he didn't go quietly.

"Last night, Bruno was inappropriate and disrespectful," Bolton said. "Other than that, it was a phenomenal experience."

Former Dancing with the Stars Contestant Excited for The Situation’s Shirtless Dances

Although Bristol Palin has vowed to stay conservative with her clothing choices on Dancing With The Stars this season, one former constant is betting viewers will get their fair share of flesh from none other than The Situation.

“I want to see how many dances he’s going to do with his shirt off,” former Dancing contestant Louie Vito said. “That’s his trademark, so I want to see if they’re going to play that up or not.”

Not shy about his physique, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is sure to be shedding some clothing during Season 11 of the ABC hit show. And although Sorrentino already labeled himself the underdog, Vito isn’t so sure that the Jersey Shore star will be exiting the stage too early in the season.
“It’s all about the package,” Vito said. “If the package is good then they’ll do well with people voting. I think The Situation could have some good packages. I’m interested to see how he’s going to do without the rest of his crew with him.”

But make no mistake about it, Vito isn’t necessarily hoping The Situation takes home the Mirrorball trophy at the end. He’s more of a Michael Bolton fan this season, who is teaming up with Vito’s season 9 partner Chelsie Hightower.

“I always have to cheer for Chelsie ,” Vito said. “She’s my girl there. I’ll always cheer for her no matter who her partner is.”

Jake Pavelka Says Tearful Goodbye to Dancing with the Stars

Jake Pavelka isn’t afraid to show his emotions! The former Bachelor star gave a heartfelt goodbye to Dancing with the Stars Tuesday after fans voted him off following a flawed performance with partner Chelsie Hightower Monday.

Through tears, he admitted he never “imagined how hard it would be to say goodbye,” as his heartbroken fiancĂ©e Vienna Girardi watched from the audience.

“Right now we’re a little bummed out, but it’s okay,” a more collected Pavelka said backstage following the show.

“It’s always a little bummer when you go off the show,” Hightower agreed. “But at same time, I feel at peace because there was nothing more that we could’ve done in this competition to do well.”
Pavelka said what he’ll miss most “is the camaraderie with the other dancers,” and particularly his “best friend” Chelsea.

While toting the disco-ball trophy may not be in the stars for Pavelka, he guarantees dancing will be part of his future. “Dancing is part of me now!” he said. “The Latin dances are where my passions are.”

And Vienna better dust off her dancing shoes: Pavelka promises his future wife will join him on the dance floor soon. Until then, the couple is looking forward to some quality down time.

“I feel pretty sure that we will go to Tahiti or Hawaii and kick our feet up for a little while and focus on our relationship and just see where life takes us right after that,” Pavelka says.

Find Out Who's Done on Dancing with the Stars

Following a night of Argentine tangos, sexy sambas and a swing marathon, the seven remaining pairs on Dancing With the Stars — including low-finishers Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel and Jake Pavelka and Chelsie Hightower — faced another elimination Tuesday night.

Thanking his partner Hightower for being “one of my best friends,” Pavelka was bounced from what he called “the best season of Dancing With the Stars I’ve ever seen.”

“I can’t put into words how much I’ve enjoyed this,” he said through tears. “I didn’t imagine how hard it would be to say goodbye.”

Jake Pavelka Strips Down to His Tighty Whiteys on Dancing With The Stars

Reigning Bachelor Jake Pavelka channeled Tom Cruise in Risky Business on Monday night’s Dancing With the Stars by stripping down to his skivvies. And whaddaya know? He and partner Chelsie Hightower ended up in the top 3 for the first time!

“You leave it all on the dance floor, and there’s some skin out there, I think,” Jake said afterward. “Once in a lifetime opportunity! And my knees will heal.”

Maksim Chmerkovskiy stated to E!: “He’s desperate…with his pants off. I don’t blame him. You’re in the bottom two, you wanted the numbers, there’s nothing to lose, so he just took his pants off.”

To recreat Tom Cruise’s iconic underwear scene from Risky Business was, well, risky for Jake Pavelka.

He’s jumped into hot tubs on The Bachelor, but dancing the cha cha in undies required baby steps.

“I rehearsed for the first time in underwear and there was about five people,” Pavelka told People Magazine. “Then about 20 people, and then for dress rehearsal about 40 people. And then we did it tonight for about 25 million people.”

Pavelka’s partner, Chelsie Hightower, “was loving every minute of it,” she says. “I was laughing my head off.”
Meanwhile, Derek Hough was impressed: “I love how he just comes out and doesn’t hold back. He just goes for it,” he says. “There’s no way my chicken legs are ever making an appearance on this show!”

Dancing in his tighty whiteys paid off as he survived elimination this week.

Dancing with the Stars’ Double Elimination

It was a double elimination at Dancing with the Stars Tuesday night and actress Melissa Joan Hart was the first to go.

“I kind of went deaf when he announced my name, and then I went, ‘Oh no, was that us?’” Hart recalled after the show. “I’m going to miss the costumes, the lights, the music [and] walking down the stairs.”

And what about her partner Mark Ballas?

“I feel like I’m going to see him all the time. I’m not going to be able to get rid of this guy,” she joked.

Ballas says he was proud of her dancing, especially since she had never danced before appearing on the show. He reminded Hart about her Charleston, which earned her high marks and sent her to the top of the leader board a few weeks ago.

“You’ll always have that Charleston. You’ll always have that 10,” he told Hart. “A lot of people don’t get that.”

Hart says she will miss the other couples, including snowboarder Louie Vito and his partner Chelsie Hightower who also performed their last dance this week.

In the show’s first ever dance-off, Vito and NFL football player Michael Irvin — who had the lowest scores — were forced to compete and perform 30 seconds of their favorite style of dance. The judges decided who would stay.

“I hate losing. I hate it. It’s probably one of the worst things in the world for me,” says Vito, who danced the jive while Irvin chose the samba. “I really wish I was on the other side of this one and (Irvin) was shaking our hand and congratulating us and they were going home. That’s the competitor inside me.”
