Charlie Sheen: 'It's Not an Act'

Yes, Charlie Sheen is acutely aware that plenty of people think he's crazy. And he doesn't care.

"It's not an act," he tells People magazine in this week's cover story. "Here's the good news: If I realize that I'm insane, then I'm okay with it. I'm not dangerous insane."

During the course of a late-night interview at his Beverly Hills home, Sheen, 45, addressed everything from his ongoing "war" with Two and a Half Men co-creator Chuck Lorre to his two-girlfriend living arrangement to his self-styled path to sobriety.

Expressing disdain for the Alcoholics Anonymous model of recovery, he says, "I'm not interested in addiction, disease, all that crap. Twenty years they took from me. I just decided that I was going to think differently, that I was not going to believe anything I'd been taught."

As for his unorthodox home life with 24-year-old girlfriends Rachel Oberlin and Natalie Kenly, he says, "everybody's needs are met, everybody's cool."

The actor is more reflective on the subject of his young children: 2-year-old twins Bob and Max with ex-wife Brooke Mueller and daughters Sam, 7, and Lola, 5, with ex-wife Denise Richards.

"There's a feeling ... that I haven't spent enough time with them, and they're getting older," he says. "Not the boys, but the girls. But rather than sitting here and going, 'What have I done?' I just change it."

Lost Two and a Half Men Episode Had Charlie Sleeping With a Man!

Had Charlie Sheen returned to the Two and a Half Men set this week, he would’ve had a surprise waiting for him: a possible same-sex hook-up!

According to some casting intel acquired by TVLine, one of the show’s four “lost” episodes was to find Sheen’s onscreen alter ego spending the night with a man.

Just prior to the plug being pulled on the season, Men producers were casting the role of Jonathan, a fortysomething client of Lyndsey’s (Courtney Thorne-Smith) who just so happens to be gay. Charlie befriends Jonathan, and the two end up partying the night away.

Cut to the following morning when they wake up in bed together with absolutely no memory of what may or may not have happened.

Hopefully Charlie will clean up his act and return to the Two and a Half Men set next season, and we have the pleasure of seeing this episode. Stay tuned!

Charlie Sheen Found Drunk and Naked in New York Hotel Room

Charlie Sheen was found drunk and reportedly naked in a New York hotel early Tuesday morning.

"Police responded to a call for an intoxicated male," a source confirmed. Sheen, 45, was taken to the hospital "in the company of a female, unharmed." He was removed from the scene for "for alcohol abuse and psychological evaluation" and considered an "aided case," meaning no arrest was made.

According to Sheen's rep, "What we are able to determine is that Charlie had an adverse allergic reaction to some medication and was taken to the hospital, where is expected to be released tomorrow."

A police source told People magazine, "I believe he was irrational and intoxicated." Sheen was taken voluntarily to New York Columbia Presbyterian Hospital by ambulance.

Police were sent to The Plaza Hotel in midtown New York after a call from hotel security, according to the New York Post. The room was trashed when police responded, including damage to a chandelier and hotel furniture.

Sheen, in addition to being recently rehabbed, less than a month ago walked his daughter down the aisle. The Two and a Half Men star is visiting the city with ex-wife Denise Richards, 39, who accompanied him to the hospital, and their two daughters.

Charlie Sheen Will Serve Jail Time in Plea Deal

Charlie Sheen will plead guilty to a misdemeanor offense and get 30 days jail time, says a source close to the negotiations in the star's ongoing domestic violence case.

"Charlie intends to go to court on June 7 [to] plead to a misdemeanor and immediately begin serving his 30 days in jail," says the source. "With good behavior, he could end up doing 15 or so days."

While Sheen, 44, had been charged with felony menacing, misdemeanor third-degree assault and misdemeanor criminal mischief following a Christmas Day fight with his wife, Brooke Mueller, 32, in Aspen, Colo., the source adds that Sheen would not be placed on probation once he completes his jail sentence.

It's not been an easy spring for Sheen or Mueller. In February, Mueller entered rehab for substance abuse with Sheen seeking treatment a week later as a "preventative measure." The couple have been living in separate homes for more than a month while they "work on their marriage," and are currently sharing custody of their twin boys, Max and Bob.

Earlier this month, Sheen agreed to return to his CBS hit Two and a Half Men for two more years. The plea deal would allow Sheen to serve out his jail sentence with time to spare before the new season starts shooting at the beginning of August.

Charlie Harper is back!

After publicly considering leaving Two and a Half Men, Charlie Sheen has agreed to return to the hit sitcom for two more years.

“To put a fitting end on the two and one-half months of whirlwind speculation, I’m looking forward to returning to my CBS home on Monday nights,” Sheen says in a statement.

The actor, whose contract expired last month, recently denied reports his salary negotiations for a new contract were an 11th-hour negotiating ploy, saying he had remained firm on his terms to return since last June.

CBS is expected to officially announce Sheen and the show’s return before unveiling its fall lineup to advertisers on Wednesday.

No Charlie Sheen = No Two and a Half Men

How could Two and a Half Men ever continue without Charlie Sheen? Well, it can’t and apparently it won’t.

For months the highest paid actor on televsion has been going through nothing but drama.

In March Sheen plead not guilty to domestic violence charges, then there was the speculation that he was leaving his hit sitcom, and of course his latest problems include addiction issues and the whole shaving head incident. Needless to say, Charlie seems to be hitting rock bottom.

Did people really think the show could go on without the lead character? Many have assumed it was just a negotiating tactic, while others predicted the show would continue on without the actor.

An insider told Radaronline, “There has been absolutely no discussion about reworking Two and a Half Men without Charlie. No one is even considering it, at this moment, if Charlie doesn’t come back, that’s the end of the series.”

Rumor has it that after spending seven years on the sitcom, Charlie is ready to move on to other endeavors. The break would certainly give him some space to get his personal life back together before he works on his professional life.

The upside is that Two and a Half Men would be going on while still on top — not a bad place to leave things.

Charlie Sheen Leaving Two and a Half Men?

After seven seasons, CBS’s hit sitcom Two and a Half Men will be down one man after the April 9th taping, sources have stated. The reason? “Charlie’s just done,” says a set source. “And he’s quietly telling his friends he’s not coming back.”

Although sources say the network hoped the star would sign a new contract for an eighth season, Sheen recently turned down the offer. “He wants to move on,” says a friend of the actor, whose contract is fulfilled after he tapes this season’s 22nd episode. “Leaving is 100 percent his idea.”

Sheen rep Stan Rosenfield would only say: “Charlie’s deal is only through this current season.”

Sheen, who faces domestic violence charges stemming from a Christmas Day fight with wife Brooke Mueller, entered rehab on February 24th as “a preventative measure” and has been returning to rehab after work each night.

A CBS spokesperson says the network doesn’t comment on contract issues. But a source close to the show says “negotiations are ongoing and nothing has been determined.”

Charlie Sheen Enters Rehab as a 'Preventative Measure'

First his wife entered rehab, and now Charlie Sheen is in treatment, too.

"As a preventative measure, Charlie Sheen has entered a rehabilitation facility," his rep says in a statement. "He will take some time off his series Two and a Half Men."

Sheen, 44, is also facing domestic violence charges stemming from a Christmas Day fight with wife Brooke Mueller, who herself went into rehab earlier this month, then switched centers amid complaints that her privacy was breached.

The statement did not elaborate on the reason for Sheen's treatment. The actor has reportedly gone to rehab programs at least twice before for drug and alcohol abuse, but a source says that this time the problem relates to the emotional fallout from the domestic violence case and his desire to avoid temptation. A relapse would be a violation of his bail terms and could send him back to jail.

"Charlie is stressed. He's tired. The kids are on his mind. Brooke's on his mind," the source stated in a recent interview. "A lot of things are on his mind. He didn't want to get a place where he had the urge to get high. He's not using and he doesn't want to. He felt like he needed to get away from negative influences around him and clear his head, rest and take a short break."

The source adds that Sheen's twin boys would be staying with his parents, actor Martin Sheen and wife Janet, and with Mueller at her rehab facility. Mueller's mother also planned to travel to California from Florida to help.

Production of Sheen's show "will be temporarily suspended," says a statement from CBS and the show's producer, Warner Bros. Television. "We wish him nothing but the best as he deals with this personal matter."

Charlie Sheen Charged with Assault on Wife

Charlie Sheen was charged Monday with a felony menacing charge and two misdemeanors but the judge eased the terms of a restraining order so the actor may now return home with Brooke Mueller and their two young sons.

The star of Two and a Half Men and Mueller both appeared in an Aspen, Colorado, court for the hearing stemming from their Christmas Day fight that sent the actor to jail.

"Charlie and Brooke kissed and hugged and looked pretty happy to get beyond this hurdle,” Mueller's lawyer Yale Galanter said in an interview. "They are on their way home to Los Angeles together."

"They finally got their restraining order lifted. They're finally able to communicate," adds Sheen's attorney, Richard Cummins. "You can imagine how hard it is to be married and not have any communication for some time. They're heading out to California so they can they work on their issues between them, and take care of their children and move forward with their lives."

At the hearing, Sheen, 44, was formally charged with felony menacing and two misdemeanors: third-degree assault and criminal mischief. But the judge modified a retraining order so that the couple can now be together as long as Sheen refrains from drinking alcohol, possessing guns or harassing Mueller, 32.

"Charlie is looking forward to going home and being with his children and with Brooke," says Mark Burg, Sheen's friend and Two and a Half Men producer who gave Sheen a place to live while the restraining order was in effect. "Hopefully this will all be behind him soon.”

Mueller arrived in Aspen over the weekend after spending 10 days at the Two Dreams Outer Banks Drug and Alcohol Rehab Center where she “has become herself again”, her mother Moira FIore stated.

"We will have to see what happens down the road,” Galanter says. "But for now we are glad to move on from the holiday issues. We will see where the next few weeks takes us."

Charlie Sheen and Wife to Undergo Counseling After His Arrest for Domestic Violence

Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller are planning to undergo counseling after a heated fight at a dinner party in Aspen, Colorado, that landed Charlie in jail on domestic violence charges Friday morning.

"They were fighting at a dinner in a friend’s house and it continued until the next morning," a source close to Mueller stated. "Both of them were drinking and neither was supposed to be. They both have histories of alcohol abuse and have made every effort to stop. But things got out of hand."

Sheen, 44, was booked at 11:20 a.m. for second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief, according to a spokesperson for the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Department in Aspen, Colo. The actor posted an $8,500 bond Friday night and was released from jail at 7 p.m. He is due in court on February 8, 2010 at 10:30 a.m.

"Charlie went right back to Los Angeles after he was released from jail," the source said. "Both he and Brooke will undergo counseling and Charlie will get anger management counseling."

Despite reports, the couple had not been separated in the weeks leading up to the Christmas morning 911 call at the house they were renting with their twin boys, Bob and Max, 9 months.

"Brooke and Charlie have never been separated," the source said. "And the boys are fine – so precious. They knew nothing about a fight between their parents."

The actor's Colorado-based attorney Richard Cummins said, "They have two children together and they love one another and they’re going to work through what is a difficult time and they’re going to do that together and as privately as possible."

Sheen's rep, Stan Rosenfield, had no further comment.

Mueller, 32, plans to stay at her rented house in Aspen, and there is no talk of divorce at this time.

"Brooke loves to snowboard and wants to be in Aspen now," the source stated. "After this unfortunate event, they need to be apart for awhile."

Twin Boys for Charlie Sheen & Brooke Mueller Sheen

Two and a Half Men star Charlie Sheen and wife Brooke Mueller Sheen welcomed twin boys Saturday night. The children, named Max and Bob, are the first for the couple, who married in May 2008.

"They're doing great," Sheen's publicist Stan Rosenfield tells People of the babies, who weren't due for another few weeks. "And Brooke's doing great."

The family is "very happy," Rosenfield says, adding that Charlies is "ecstatic. He's a family man – now he has three daughters and two sons. He's a wonderful father."

Sheen, 43, has daughters, Sam, 4, and Lola, 3, with ex-wife Denise Richards, and another, 24-year-old Cassandra, from a previous marriage.

Brooke, 31, was hospitalized with early contractions last month, but released shortly after. The couple were feted at a sports-themed baby shower a few days later at the Los Angeles home of Dr. 90210 star Dr. Paul Nassif and wife Adrienne Maloof-Nassif. Celebrity guests included Christine Taylor, Jon Cryer, Paris Hilton, Eric Dane and baseball star Barry Bonds.

Despite the early delivery, Sheen and Mueller Sheen had already put the finishing touches on the boys' nursery. "Forget being a babies' room. If I had a room like that growing up at any point, I would have been over the moon," Sheen, 43, told People in February.

Sheen Stays Employed

According to sources at CBS, the network is set to make an unprecedented renewal, ordering a full three seasons of the Two and a Half Men.

The Charlie Sheen starrer is the top-rated comedy on TV.

The deal would carry it through its ninth season.

At the same time, its prime-time partner The Big Bang Theory will reportedly get a two season renewal.

This allows the network to plan on having popular, anchor shows in the schedule. That is not only appealing to advertisers, but lets execs schedule new shows as part of a successful comedy block.
