With Season 10 of Dancing With the Stars going down to the wire, one more pair faced elimination Tuesday night.
It’s become Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger‘s competition to lose. But on Monday night’s performance show, Erin Andrews made a comeback and Chad Ochocinco enjoyed a second strong dance in a row, while Evan Lysacek did not meet judges’ expectations and Niecy Nash again finished at the bottom.
It was, inevitably, Nash and pro partner Louis van Amstel who went home, their Viennese waltz pleasing the crowd but disappointing the judges.
“I’ve had such a fantastic time being able to live out my dream,” said Nash, adding that she felt like she accomplished her goal of redeeming herself as a dancer.
“Thank you for molding this lump of clay into something,” she told van Amstel, and thanked her mother and her “Mr. Wonderful,” as she calls her boyfriend, for showing up every week.
Rather than part in tears as other ousted contestants had, Nash requested: “Can we play something so we can get crunk in here?” She and van Amstel danced on the floor and were quickly joined by their castmates, who danced along to “All She Wants to Do Is Dance.”
