First acts announced for the revived Lilith Tour in 2010 comprise a diverse bill of seasoned and breaking female artists across a wide span of genres.Moveable fest will hit at least 18 major markets in the U.S. and Canada next year; specific dates have not yet been announced.
Veterans of the top-grossing 1997-99 Lilith Fair treks returning to the tour’s stages next year include co-founder Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow, Emmylou Harris, Indigo Girls, Tegan and Sara and Erykah Badu.
Other performers include recruits from rock and pop (Metric, A Fine Frenzy, Brandi Carlile, Corinne Bailey Rae, Colbie Caillat, Sara Bareilles, the Submarines, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals), R&B (Mary J. Blige, Jill Scott, Ke$ha) and country (Sugarland, Miranda Lambert).
