Amy Winehouse is back in the U.K. after her extended stay in the Caribbean and is also back in trouble.The 25 year-old singer has been charged with assault for a September incident at the upscale End Of Summer Ball in London's Berkeley Square. She will have to appear in court later this month for the alleged melee.
A London Metro Police rep said, "The singer has been charged. She will appear on bail at City of Westminster Magistrates Court on Tuesday, March 17th charged with common assault."
The police did not identify the individual Winehouse is said to have whupped, only that it stems from "an incident in Berkeley Square on September 26th."
