That's what happened to British insurance claims assistant Kent Devey, but with a twist: The PDA he purchased contained the contact information of several A-listers, including Jude Law, Natalie Portman and Julianne Moore.
Devy bought the device for £16 (about 23 bucks) and was perusing it when he noticed an old e-mail. This prompted him to scroll through the address book where he found the numbers and e-mail addresses of over 50 celebs.
After calling up actress Julie Walters to see if the numbers were a hoax, Devey decided to return the phone to where it came -- from Working Title Films (no word on how it ended up on eBay in the first place).
In exchange, the company is giving him a new Blackberry and some tickets to the stage production of "Billy Elliot."
What, no meet-and-greet with Mr. Law? Online shopping is such a ripoff.
