Perez Hilton Tops the List of Most Googled Gays

Hollywood gossip blogger Perez Hilton has topped the list of the most Googled Gays compiled by the Advocate based on Google Trends data.

Sir Elton John (4th), Ricky Martin (5) and George Michael (12) appear on the list. Here is the Top 20 list:

Is This Ricky Martin's Boyfriend?

Ricky Martin's coming out of the closet was really no big surprise for many.

Martin has been rumored to be gay for years, and recently Barbara Walters was quoted as saying her biggest regret as a celebrity interviewer was asking him if he was gay on air. Martin neither confirmed nor denied the rumors to Walters during that interview.

On Monday, March 29th, Martin posted on his website an eloquent statement acknowledging his sexual orientation: "I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."

Is he blessed with a boyfriend, too? Perez Hilton seems to think so.

http://www.perezhilton.com/ on Tuesday, March 30, posted a photo of a man with Ricky, asking whether he is the singing star's boyfriend. Sources in Puerto Rico tell me that Martin does have a partner and they have identified him as Carlos Gonzalez.

The sources indicate Martin and Gonzalez have been together for more than a year and half and Gonzalez is a frequent visitor of Martin's house in the Dorado, a small town near San Juan. Gonzalez, in his early 30s, has worked as a financial broker and comes from a wealthy family in Guaynabo.

Gonzalez does not deny being gay. Sources describe him as "very masculine and straight acting."

Perez Hilton: John Mayer is a Closeted Gay Man

Perez Hilton made some wild claims to radio host Big Boy on his Thursday broadcast: John Mayer performed oral sex on a man, watches gay porn and he believes he’s a closeted gay man.

These revelations come on the heels of John Mayer’s controversial Playboy interview, in which he used the n-word, f-word, dished dirty details on sex with Jessica Simpson and infuriated Perez by describing his infamous smooch with the blogger as disgusting. “I grabbed him and gave him the dirtiest, tongue-iest kiss I have ever put on anybody – almost as if I hated f*gs,” he told Playboy. “I don’t think my mouth was even touching (his) when I was tongue kissing him – that’s how disgusting this kiss was. I’m a little ashamed. I think it lasted about half a minute. I really think it went on too long.”

And now Perez has revealed that the two had a bizarre, secret friendship via e-mail and text message for more than a year and a half. He claims that in October, Mayer confessed to Perez that “he had the P-E-N-I-S word in his mouth,” he told Big Boy. “I will take a lie detector test,” he added. Mayer also told Perez that he enjoys watching gay porn, and says his favorite porn star is baby-faced Brent Corrigan. Perez also claims that he heard from sources close to Jessica Simpson that Mayer wanted to “enjoy her through the back door.” When asked what he would say if John Mayer asked him to label his sexuality, Perez says that he would tell him he’s “very” much a gay man because he doesn’t believe in bisexuality for men.

Jaclyn Smith Wants an Apology From Perez Hilton

Former Charlie's Angels star Jaclyn Smith has called on celebrity blogger Perez Hilton to "do the right thing" and apologise for going public with an erroneous story suggesting the actress had shot herself.

The Internet gossip misreported an incident involving Smith's one-time stunt double last month, and had the star's fans, family and friends fearing the worst.

Hilton's article suggested Smith had shot herself while on vacation in Honduras, but the actress quickly denied she had been injured. In a statement she explained she was "safe and home with her family".

The injured woman was, in fact, the actress' lookalike Sandra Franklin, who sustained a bullet wound to her stomach during an incident at her home.

Smith has been waiting for an apology ever since, stating, "I've moved on but apologies are always nice.

"It's irresponsible. It can be hurtful and painful to people that love you."

The actress did see Hilton's correction, but she tells news show Access Hollywood the damage had already been done - her son was already in a panic.

She explains, "My son was working that day and people came up to him and said, 'Your mom, your mom...' He said, 'I just talked to my mom!' He knows me, he knows I wouldn't have done something like that. But you don't wanna hear that."

Black Eyed Peas Manager Charged in Perez Hilton Fight

Toronto police have charged the manager of chart-topping hip-hop band the Black Eyed Peas with assault after a confrontation with celebrity blogger Perez Hilton at Sunday's MuchMusic Video Awards.

Liborio Molina, 36, was ordered to appear at Old City Hall in Toronto on August 5 to answer the assault charge.

Hilton first alerted the police via Twitter that he had apparently been involved in an altercation with the Black Eyed Peas entourage at an awards show afterparty during the early hours of Monday morning.

"I'm in shock. I need the police ASAP. Please come to the Soho Metropolitan Hotel now. Please," Hilton tweeted at around 3 a.m., according to local media reports.

Hilton's next message alleged that he had been assaulted by will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas and his security guards. "I am bleeding. Please, I need to file a police report. No joke," he added.

Will.i.am reportedly created his own Twitter account to deny Hilton's story.

Hilton was a presenter at the MuchMusic Video Awards, and Black Eyed Peas performed and picked up an award for best international video group for their hit "Boom Boom Pow," which has spent 11th weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart.
