Javier Bardem will join the ranks of Neil Patrick Harris, Olivia Newton-John and Josh Groban when he goes Gleek next season.The Academy Award winner is expected to appear on FOX’s Glee as a rock star who befriends Artie (Kevin McHale), reports EW.com.
“We’re going to rock the house,” Bardem says. “We’re going to do some heavy metal — Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.”
Bardem reportedly became hooked on the show after watching the show’s entire first season in one week and then pitched a Glee cameo to creator Ryan Murphy, who directed this summer’s Eat Pray Love, which stars Bardem and Julia Roberts.
John Stamos is also expected to make an appearance on season 2 of Glee.
