American Idol Finale Tonight (Part Two): Who Will Be the Winner!

Host Ryan Seacrest took the stage at the Nokia Theater L.A. LIVE on Tuesday night, May 19th for the final showdown between Adam Lambert and Kris Allen for the last live performance show of Season 8.

Adam and Kris performed three songs each: their favorite song choice from this season, a Simon Fuller pick, and the winners song titled "No Boundaries", co-written by judge Kara DioGuardi, Cathy Dennis and Mitch Allan.

Adam’s favorite song pick was "Mad World" and Kris chose "Ain’t No Sunshine." The judges liked both performances but Simon Cowell called Round 1 a win for Kris Allen.

The Simon Fuller pick for Adam was "A Change Is Gonna Come" and for Kris he chose "What’s Going On." Simon called Round 2 a win for Adam.

Both contestants sang "No Boundaries" as their final performance song, which will be the first song recorded by the winner of American Idol Season 8. The judges agreed that Lambert did a better job on the song, with the key too high for Allen. Simon called Round 3 a win for Adam again.

Now it is up to who the American viewers voted to become the newest American Idol. My choice is none other than ADAM LAMBERT!!!

Watch the two-hour finale tonight at 8:00 pm (ET) on FOX. (Note: Ryan Seacrest recommended for us to set our DVRs to record longer than two hours as they expect to go on "overtime."
