Schoolteacher Fishes Tom Brady Out of Water

In what sounds like the plotline of a romantic comedy, a Massachusetts woman fished Tom Brady out of the water.

The breathtaking rescue operation took place after the New England Patriots quarterback and his wife, Gisele Bündchen, went kayaking in the Charles River – and Brady fell in.

To save the day: local schoolteacher Robin Leeds.

"We were tying up our boat to a buoy and the boat boy came over and said, 'You are never going to guess who is on the Charles renting kayaks right now … Do you want to go check it out?' " Leeds told Boston's Channel 7 News. "I said, 'Yeah.' "

While stargazing in a motorboat, Leeds saw that Brady was missing from his kayak – and in the water. So she pulled him into her boat.

"I actually asked him why he fell in. He said he was racing one of his friends," said Leeds, who found Brady "really friendly, really appreciative that we fished him out of the Charles."

All in all, a memorable moment. Afterward, Leeds said, "I talked with Gisele. We talked about how beautiful the weather it was." And she asked Brady if he would pose for a photo with her.

"Of course," she said he replied, also telling her, "you saved my life."

Model Gisele Bundchen Weds NFL Star Tom Brady

Brazilian model Gisele Bundchen married National Football League star Tom Brady in the Los Angeles suburb of Santa Monica on Thursday, Us Weekly reported.

The celebrity magazine said the ceremony took place at St. Monica Catholic Church in the oceanfront community, and the guests were mostly immediate family members. The bride wore Dolce & Gabbana as did her three dogs.

Bundchen, 28, has been dating the 31-year-old New England Patriots quarterback since 2006. She was previously linked with actor Leonardo DiCaprio. Forbes.com reported last May that she was the world's highest-paid supermodel, with estimated annual earnings of $35 million. Brady has an 18-month-old son with actress Bridget Moynahan, with whom he broke up about the time she got pregnant.
