Eric Dane & Rebecca Gayheart Welcome Baby Girl

Hollywood stars Eric Dane and Rebecca Gayheart have become first-time parents. The actress gave birth to a baby girl in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

Dane revealed the sex of his baby in a recent interview, but insisted he and his wife would wait to see their daughter before naming her.

He explained, "Rebecca wants to see her before we start calling her it... You want to make sure the name sticks."

But he confirmed the pair have had a couple of names in mind for some time - and neither are bizarre showbusiness names: "We went straight down the middle."

The baby's name and other labor details have not yet been released.

Grey's Anatomy star Dane, 37, and Gayheart, 38, shared their good news in September by stepping out once the actress began to show, but never formally announced the pregnancy.

The couple were married in a 2004 Vegas wedding.

News of the Gayheart-Dane baby's gender was first reported by E! Online's Marc Malkin.

Eric Dane & Rebecca Gayheart Sue Over Nude Tape

Eric Dane and wife Rebecca Gayheart are suing the pants off the parent company of a blog that posted their nude tape last month.

The couple, who appeared in the 12-minute home video with former teen beauty queen Kari Ann Peniche, 25, are suing Gawker Media for copyright infringement for more than $1 million.

Nick Denton, publisher of Gawker, responded in a Twitter message: "To quote the great Marty Singer – Eric Dane's lawyer – if you don't want a sex tape on the internet, 'don't make one!'"

In the lawsuit, Singer argues that Gawker was warned that posting the video on its Defamer.com violated the couple's legal and privacy rights, but that the blog "went on to maliciously distribute an uncensored copy" of the tape.

Dane, 36, and Gayheart, 38, "were partially and sometimes fully disrobed in the video, recorded it behind locked doors in Peniche's bedroom," the lawsuit states.

Singer, as well as a publicist for Dane, weren't immediately available for comment.

Grey's Anatomy star Eric Dane and his actress wife Rebecca Gayheart have hit back at a new magazine expose, which alleges the couple indulged in a cocaine binge at a 2008 Hollywood party.

The actors have become tabloid fodder in recent months with details emerging about their sex lives and reported drug taking.

The latest report in the National Enquirer suggests Dane and Gayheart were spotted snorting a white powder at a bash in the Hollywood Hills in late 2008.

A source tells the publication, "I think Eric and Rebecca were there to get high. It didn't take long before she asked where the coke was. They went into another room and started snorting lines of cocaine. I watched them do it... I saw Rebecca snort lines a couple of times - and Eric at least once."

But the couple has slammed the allegations, blasting the insider's account as a "bunch of lies".

Their representative tells GossipCop.com, "It's mean and untrue. If it happened, where are the photos?"

Dane and Gayheart made headlines last month when home video footage of the pair frolicking naked with pal Kari Ann Peniche leaked online.

The video featured the seemingly intoxicated threesome passing a camera around and dreaming up porn names for each other.

In a statement released Monday evening, the actor’s lawyer, Marty Singer, said of the tape: “This is simply a private, consensual moment involving a married couple, shot several years ago, which was never intended to be seen by the public. Although the participants are nude, the tape is not a ’sex tape.’ It is a private tape made for only my clients’ personal use, and nobody has the right to exploit it. If anyone exploits the tape, they will be violating my clients’ rights and will be exposed to significant liability.”

Rebecca Gayheart in Naked Drugs Scandal

Rebecca Gayheart is embroiled in a drugs and nude photo scandal, after a tabloid published pictures of the actress naked and holding what appears to be crack cocaine paraphernalia.

In the pictures, Gayheart and an unidentified, seemingly intoxicated, woman are shown in a bathtub. The star is clutching a lighter and a glass pipe.

The National Enquirer report suggests the pictures were taken in February 2003, 18 months before Gayheart married Grey's Anatomy hunk Eric Dane.

A source tells the magazine Gayheart took the photos as a gift for her then-boyfriend.

The eyewitness is quoted as saying, "It happened on the Los Angeles party scene. Rebecca agreed to do a nude photo session for a boyfriend who wanted to have pictures of her as a turn-on. He told me they were partying and smoking crack together."

The insider alleges Gayheart kicked drugs after a spell in rehab.

It's not the first time the 37 year old has found herself in the spotlight for the wrong reasons; in 2001 she pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter after a car crash that killed a nine-year-old boy, while she was allegedly using her cellphone.

The star's representatives had yet to comment about the Enquirer's report as WENN went to press.
