The Dilema's Channing Tatum Taken From Behind by Director, Ron Howard

Jimmy Kimmel asked Channing Tatum to recall the most memorable aspect of working with acclaimed film director Ron Howard, and Tatum replied that it involved being “bent over and taken from behind in a very sexual way” by Howard.

Tatum, who stars in The Dilemma, told Kimmel about the hands-on way Howard blocked out one of his intimate scenes with Winona Ryder, and how it made him feel.

“I can probably, honestly say, that I am one of the few, if not the only one, ever on the planet, as a male, has been bent over and taken from behind in a very sexual way by Ron Howard.”

Tatum added that Howard was “gentle,” as if he “had done it before.”

The Dilemma also stars Vince Vaughn, whose character says, "Electric cars are gay." The line drew criticism from voices including the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and Anderson Cooper in the fall at the height of coverage surrounding LGBT teen suicides. Universal Studios removed the line from the trailer, but the company and Howard have refused to delete the line from the film.

Watch the interview with Jimmy Kimmel below. Tatum recounts the story around the 1:00 mark.

Channing Tatum Gets Some Interesting Fan Mail

Dear John star Channing Tatum has quickly become one of Hollywood's biggest heartthrobs, and he admits some of his female followers show their affection in strange ways.

He said: "I do get quite a bit of fan mail and most of it is just nice normal stuff. But I have had underwear sent to me and one pair had my face on it, which was rather weird. My mom sorts through some of it for me and it's the best job for a mom to do -- they love it!"

Although Channing receives lots of mail, he admits he can't reply personally because his handwriting is poor.

The 29-year-old hunk -- whose Dear John character stays in touch with his girlfriend by letters, told BANG Showbiz: "In the film they wouldn't let me use my own handwriting for the letters as it looks like a three year old has written or a chicken! I spell everything wrong so writing letters is not my strong point."

Channing Tatum Demonstrates to Ellen DeGeneres What Male Strippers Do

He stars in the No. 1 movie of last weekend, and she's just joined the cast of TV's top-rated show – why shouldn't they make beautiful music together?

And though the music wasn't exactly beautiful, new American Idol judge Ellen DeGeneres did seem rhapsodic at having her talk-show guest Channing Tatum demonstrate some of the moves he made in his former job as a male "dancer."

"What kind of dancer were you, Channing?" DeGeneres asked Tatum, 29, for an episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show which aired on Wednesday.

"I was a stripper," replied the Dear John star, prompting loud applause from the in-studio audience. "Look," he said, "I'm not proud of it, but I'm not ashamed of it."

Explaining that he appeared at a venue named Male Revue, Channing was asked if he did lap dances. "I don't know what men strippers do," DeGeneres admitted.

And so, Tatum demonstrated what men strippers do – though, if the photo provided by the show's publicity department is any indication, not a thread was removed. Still, said Tatum, "Now I'm embarrassed."

And while she was short of cash, DeGeneres, as usual, was not short on comment.

"I wish I had a dollar," she said after his up-close-and personal routine with her. "If only I had cash I would've kept you going."

Having the final word, Tatum said, "Don't worry. That one was on the house."

Channing Tatum Planning Stripper Movie

Actor Channing Tatum is bringing his experiences as a stripper to the big screen - he's developing a new movie based on his colourful past.

The G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra star worked as an exotic dancer as a teenager before he broke into acting - and now he's basing a new film project on his former job.

He said in a recent interview, "I did it for almost a year. I've lived a crazy life, for sure. It seemed like a fun thing to do at the time and I got out unscathed. It's nothing I'm ashamed of and I'm not proud of it either.

"I've already got the director picked out. I'd like Nicolas Refn, who did the movie Bronson, to do it because he's insane for it. It needs to be a crazy film and I think it's also possible to do a cute, romantic movie."

And Tatum is eyeing a starring role in the picture: "I'm going to be getting back in my thong again."

Channing Tatum Gives “Details” of His Penis Injury

Poor Channing Tatum!

The hunky star of GI Joe, Stop-Loss, Step Up and the upcoming Dear John, suffered a penis burn while filming a scene of The Eagle of the Ninth in Scotland.

So how the heck did rhat happen? He explains in the new issue of Details magazine that it happened after he had to wade into freezing water:

“The only way to keep warm was by pouring a mix of boiling water and river water down your [wet]suit. We were finally done shooting for the day, and one of the crew guys asks if I want to warm up before I go. I’m like, Nah, I’m good. And then I thought, Why not? Thing is, he’d forgotten to dilute the kettle water. So he poured scalding water down my suit. And I was trying to pull the suit away from my body to somehow get away from the boiling water, and the more I pulled the suit away, the lower the water went. It just went straight down and pretty much burned the skin off the head of my dick.”

Ouch!

He even showed photos of his scorched penis to the writer who describes it as looking like “a hot dog that’s been left too long on the grill. The tip is hot-pink, singed, and shriveled. It appears angry.”

Says Channing: “It was the most painful thing I have ever experienced in my life,” he says, flipping through photos on his iPhone until he lands on a grainy snapshot of a scorched member. His scorched member. “I’m good . . . now,” he says with a grin. “Now my penis is fantastic! One hundred percent recovered. Put me back in the game, Coach.”

Channing Tatum Goes Shirtless for GQ

G. I. Joe never looked this good.

Channing Tatum, who stars in next month's G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra, based on the popular toy line, shows off his action hero body in a sexy photo shoot for the August issue of GQ.

Channing Tatum To Sink His Teeth Into Eclipse Role?

Heartthrob Robert Pattinson is facing some serious competition - movie bosses are eyeing pin-up Channing Tatum for a lead role in the vampire franchise's third outing Eclipse.

Pattinson has become one of Hollywood's hottest young stars since he landed the role of bloodsucker Edward Cullen in Twilight.

But it could be time for the young Brit to stand in the sidelines - screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg is desperate to sign former model Tatum as nasty vampire Riley.

She tells E! Online, "There's a very big battle at the end with Riley, and I think Channing would do that so well.

"And there are some complexities to that character. He really is tragic. He's a puppet for Victoria (vampire character). So he has to break your heart a little bit at the end when he realises that she doesn't want him. Channing could do that beautifully."
