The guessing game as to who will replace Simon Cowell on American Idol continues but the question of who will replace Ellen DeGeneres is apparently already answered: Jennifer Lopez.It has been reported that negotiations with Lopez began in secret about a month ago and was closed earlier this week clearing the way for Ellen’s departure to be announced. DeGeneres apparently made it clear a few months ago that she wanted off the show which saw its ratings drop last season.
It seems like a terrific time for Lopez to join Idol since her once red-hot recording and movie career has cooled.
