Hugh Jackman has healed the longrunning rift with his mum after she walked out on him as a kid - the pair has been spending time together in New York.
The Aussie star's dad was left to look after Jackman and his four siblings after his mum Grace moved out of the family home when he was eight years old.
Grace and her estranged husband, Chris, later agreed Jackman's sisters would be raised in their mum's native England, while Jackman and his two brothers stayed in Australia with their father.
Jackman has since admitted he doesn't blame his mum for deserting them - because she was suffering from undiagnosed post-natal depression.
And now he has put the past behind him - he has been snapped enjoying his mum's company in New York, and she's been helping him care for his two adopted children while his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, is in Australia.
A source tells The Sydney Daily Telegraph, "Grace has been helping Hugh with the kids while Deborra-Lee is in Australia for Adoption Awareness week."
