Star Trek’s George Takei and husband Brad Altman are the first gay couple to ever appear on The Newlywed Game in the history of the show.Joining the first same-sex couple ever include Christopher Knight (The Brady Bunch) & Adrianne Curry (America’s Next Top Model) and Damien Gurganius & Nicole Brewer (The Biggest Loser: Couples 2).
The episode airs on Tuesday, October 13th at 6:00 pm (ET) on GSN. The new season of the game show premieres on Monday, October 12th and is hosted by Carnie Wilson.
George and Brad celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary last month. They were married on September 15, 2008.
