On a side note, did you know that Kylie Minogue was originally offered this track, and she passed it up? What a bad decision by Kylie, as Toxic earned Britney her first Grammy for best dance video. Incidentally, it only lingered in the top 10 in 2003 and never hitting the top spot.

Twilight & True Blood to Rule People's Choice Awards

Vampires are set to rule the upcoming People's Choice Awards - with blockbuster fantasy film franchise "Twilight" and blood-sucking TV series "True Blood" leading the nominations.

The public cast more than 18 million votes online to select the nominees for next year's ceremony, and will also choose the winners in 35 categories.

The Twilight Saga will compete against Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and Star Trek in the favorite movie and favorite film franchise categories.

Stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner have earned nods for best on-screen team, joining fellow nominees Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint and Emma Watson (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince), Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds (The Proposal), Shia Labeouf and Megan Fox (Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen) and Hugh Jackman, Liev Schreiber, Ryan Reynolds, will.i.am, Dominic Monaghan and Daniel Henney (X-Men Origins: Wolverine).

Pattinson and Stewart were also nominated individually for favorite movie actress and actor, and will face-off against A-listers Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman, Johnny Depp, Ryan Reynolds, Anne Hathaway, Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Aniston and Sandra Bullock in their respective categories.

Lautner is also up for breakout movie actor alongside Chris Pine, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Sam Worthington and Zachary Quinto.

Meanwhile, True Blood was nominated for favorite TV obsession and favorite sci-fi/fantasy TV show, where it will battle for the title against The Vampire Diaries, Heroes, Lost and Supernatural.

The show's star Anna Paquin will fight it out with Blake Lively, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Katherine Heigl and Mariska Hargitay for favorite TV drama actress - while Hugh Laurie, Kiefer Sutherland, Mark Harmon, Matthew Fox and Patrick Dempsey compete for the title of favorite TV drama actor.

Musically, newcomers Adam Lambert, Demi Lovato, Kris Allen, Lady Gaga and reality TV star Susan Boyle will battle for favorite breakout music artist.

Eminem, Jason Mraz, John Mayer, Keith Urban and Tim McGraw will go head-to-head for the favorite male artist accolade, while their female counterparts include: Beyonce, Britney Spears, Carrie Underwood, Pink and Taylor Swift.

Queen Latifah will host the People's Choice Awards at Los Angeles' Nokia Theatre on January 6, 2010.

Lindsay Lohan was Dating Heath LedgerWhen He Died

Lindsay Lohan was dating Heath Ledger when he died, according to the actress' mother Dina.

In the latest leaked phone conversation between Dina and her ex-husband Michael, the Lohan matriarch claimed back in 2008 that Lindsay was "f**ked up" by the actor's fatal drug overdose in January of that year.

She says, "She was dating Heath when he died. I don't know if you know that, but I know 'cause I would drop her off and they were friends, very, very close...

"That f**ed her up."

In the tape, which appears on www.RadarOnline.com, Dina also describes her fears Lohan will suffer the same fate as Ledger, adding, "When she's drunk or takes an Adderall (prescribed stimulant) with it she will do something like Heath Ledger did in a second without thinking.

"She cannot be alone. When she sleeps here she sleeps with me... she has fears from being little..."

Michael Lohan is leaking taped conversations with Dina, Lindsay and her ex-employee Jenni Munro in a bid to convince the Mean Girls star to seek help for an alleged drug addiction.

The move has angered Lindsay, who has blasted her dad in the press, and Munro - who has threatened legal action.

Madonna has got to be a pro at the meeting the boyfriend's parents thing by now. After all, she's been married two times, and had a slew of relationships over her career. But, sources say the singer is nervous about meeting her 23-year-old boyfriend Jesus Luz’s parents in Brazil, as rumors are spreading that the two are getting serious, and might even get hitched.

A friend of model Jesus said: “She is slightly on edge. But an engagement could be on the cards.”

Jesus, who has been dating the pop star since late last year, is desperate to be “taken seriously,” get married and secure their relationship. The pal added: "Madonna really does love and need Jesus -- and she does not hold all the power in their relationship.

He grew up with strong Christian beliefs. He wants to marry and be taken seriously. She doesn't want to lose Jesus and so the visit to his parents is her way of saying she will make this relationship permanent. He wants proof of commitment and he wants her to make an honest man of him."

The meetings proves the pair have put their recent disagreement behind them. The couple reportedly rowed after Madonna, who has children Lourdes, 12, Rocco, 9, David Banda and Mercy, both 4, said she would rather be “run over by a train” than marry again following her split from movie director Guy Ritchie, with the model begging his 51-year-old love to rethink her vow.

According to the singer’s biographer Randy Taraborrelli, she has already had a change of heart. He said: "Madonna is telling close friends and family that 'I definitely see myself marrying him. It's on the table'."

If the nuptials go ahead, this will be Madonna’s third wedding. She was also wed to actor Sean Penn between 1985 and 1989.

ABC Drops "Eastwick" & Kathy Griffin's Dance Show

ABC has opted not to order additional episodes of "Eastwick," its rookie supernatural comedy-drama starring Rebecca Romijn.

"Eastwick," a fresh take on the hit 1987 movie "The Witches of Eastwick," will finish production on 13 episodes; ABC plans to run them all.

ABC is also yanking its reality show "Let's Dance," which was supposed to premiere on November 23rd with Kathy Griffin hosting.

Sources said ABC had difficulty casting the series, which is a common problem for networks when developing celebrity-driven reality fare, though usually such projects don't get so far in the process as to have a premiere date.

In its place, ABC intends to air "Find My Family," in which people get to meet long-lost families or loved ones. The network has six episodes planned.

It has also picked up five more episodes of its Tuesday crime drama "The Forgotten," starring Christian Slater.

Ben Foster & Woody Harrelson: Kiss Kiss!

Ben Foster plants a kiss on co-star Woody Harrelson’s cheek at the premiere of The Messenger in New York City on Sunday.

The film, opening November 13th, is about two soldiers whose job it is to notify families of soldiers who lose their lives in Iraq. Ben, 29, plays a soldier who falls for a widow, played by Samantha Morton.

Speaking to the LA Times, Ben had nothing but nice things to say about Woody: “When you go through something and you’re taking an emotional leap with someone else, you’re either going to connect or not,” he said.

“It just so happens that he’s a remarkable human being. I’ve never cried or laughed in someone’s arms so much as Woody Harrelson’s.”

In case you missed Eating Out 3: All You Can Eat when it had its brief theaterical run last month, the gay comedy sequel is out on DVD today!

Okay, so the movie isn’t going to win any Oscars but it’s fun and hilarious. Rebekah Kochan, in the female lead role, is the only holdover from the first two movies and she makes the most of her increased role.

Director Glenn Gaylord was able to surround her with several newcomers all making their feature film debuts including Daniel Skelton, Chris Salvatore, Michael Walker, John C. Stallings, Maximiliano Torandell, and Rick D’Agostino. – all openly gay actors.

Well, in EATING OUT 1, a straight guy pretends to be gay to get the girl. EATING OUT 2: SLOPPY SECONDS saw a gay guy pretending to be straight to land another guy. This time out, you will meet Casey, the geeky cutie, who is taken under Tiffani's wing and pretends to be Ryan, Tiffani's hot, straight ex, in order to seduce the smoldering Zack online. Jamie Foxx & Martin Lawrence to Don Drag Again

Comedians Jamie Foxx and Martin Lawrence are teaming up for a new gender-bending movie - the pair will play drag queens in upcoming comedy Sheneneh And Wanda.

The funnymen will slip on stockings and stilettos to play cross-dressing bank robbers.
Foxx will write the script and will produce the film with Lawrence through their Foxxhole and Runteldat production companies.

According to Daily Variety, the project originated as a spoof trailer for a film called Skank Robbers, which Foxx and Lawrence made for the Bet Awards in June.

Levi Johnston to Sue for Joint Custody of Son Tripp

The man who was almost Sarah Palin's son-in-law will pursue legal action to gain joint custody of his son with Bristol Palin, according to reports.

Levi Johnston, 19, is the father of 10-month-old Tripp with his ex-girlfriend Bristol, the daughter of the former Alaska governor. The two were engaged to be married, but broke off their relationship in March.

Johnston is seeking joint custody at the end of the month because the Palin family is allegedly making it difficult for him to see his son, he told The Insider.

"It's not working. I'm done," he said. "It's going to have to go to court. They just finally pushed me over the edge."

The relationship between Johnston and the Palins has taken a particularly nasty turn in the last few weeks, with Johnston calling Sarah Palin a hypocrite, and Palin lambasting him for his upcoming nude pictorial in Playgirl.

The Palin camp did not respond to requests for comment. Sarah Palin's lawyer, Thomas Van Flein, told Britain's The Guardian newspaper on October 30th, "Other than noting that Tripp's father is always welcome to visit his son, we are unable to respond to these allegations as it is inappropriate to discuss child custody matters publicly."

When does the queen of all media share the cover of her own magazine with anyone?

When that someone is fellow talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

That's right: For the second time in its history, O, the Oprah Magazine is letting someone share the cover with Oprah Winfrey, in its December issue, out November 12th.

In fact, the duo posed for four different versions of the cover. One photograph features Winfrey, 55, and DeGeneres, 51, all in white, with Winfrey perched atop a giant gift box. Another has DeGeneres tied up in a string of holiday lights.

Inside, Ellen chats about life with wife Portia DeRossi – and her new job as an American Idol judge.

"They came to me, and it was a total surprise," she says. "I like to try new things because I get bored so easily. And I like the show, so I thought it was a great idea."

And so was having her on the cover of the magazine, Winfrey adds.

"Ellen DeGeneres is a woman who can make things happen," Winfrey says. "When she decided she wanted to be on the cover of O, she pulled out all the stops. It worked – for only the second time in O history, I'm sharing the cover with a woman I adore."

"When Ellen arrived at the photo shoot for our cover, I didn't have to ask her how she was doing: it showed on her face," she continues. "She radiated the kind of peace and satisfaction that comes only when you're living at your highest potential."

Winfrey first shared the cover with First Lady Michelle Obama for on the April 2009 issue.

Madonna’s Next Role: Dolce & Gabbana Model!

After two seasons as the face of Louis Vuitton, the Queen of Pop is ready to take on her next high-fashion challenge: modeling for Dolce & Gabbana!

The Italian design duo announced on their online magazine www.Swide.com, that Madonna will be the face of their Spring/Summer 2010 campaign.

This won’t be the first time the Italian designers have teamed up with Madonna. They first collaborated with the star back in the early ’90s when they designed the iconic costumes for her 1993 The Girlie Show tour and then, just last year, they designed costumes for her return to the stage during the Sticky and Sweet tour.

“To have Madonna in our campaign is a dream come true,” Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana tell their online magazine. And with their Sicilian-inspired Spring/Summer collection revisiting iconic pieces, such as their signature corset, it is only fitting that Madonna, who shares an Italian heritage with the designers, brings the collection to life.

Madonna’s Dolce & Gabbana ads were shot last week in New York City by photographer Steven Klein. We can’t wait to see the photos!

Gerard Butler Usually Picks the Wrong Ladies

Although Gerard Butler has been romantically linked to beauties like Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, he swears he doesn't have a type. In fact, the ladies he chooses are usually too crazy for him to handle.

He explained: “I don’t know because often I feel that I meet a girl that is unexpected. There is no rhyme or reason. I always thought I don’t want a girl who is too crazy, too much for me, and then I meet a girl who is crazy and I go, ‘Wow, she is amazing.’ But I can’t ever give a definite kind of woman because there are different things in different women I might like. I might like a girl who is gentle and innocent, but then again I might like a woman who is more statuesque and strong and powerful, it’s the polar opposites. It just depends on the moment, on the person, on magic.”

As he approaches his 40th birthday this Friday, The Bounty Hunter hunk has been forced to consider his future as he eventually wants to settle down and start a family.

He explained to Scotland’s Daily Record newspaper: "Right now I question a bunch of things in my life and I am in a lot of ways more comfortable than ever. I know what still excites me, what can excite me and what is just never going to happen."

"But then also there are things I have different opinions on. Sometimes I think, ‘God, I wish I was married now, had kids.' Other times I think, ‘Thank Christ I am not married and don’t have kids yet. I can do that later.’"

Did Steven Tyler Quit Aerosmith?Joe Perry Thinks So

Aerosmith has been together since 1970, but it looks like they won't make it to the 40-year mark. The guys have canceled a bunch of shows this year, and singer Steven Tyler injured his shoulder after falling off a stage in August, so it's been a rough few months for the rockers. They might even be broken up already. Guitarist Joe Perry allegedly said in an interview with the Las Vegas Sun: "Steven quit as far as I can tell."

He continued: "I don't know any more than you do about it. I got off the plane two nights ago. I saw online that Steven said that he was going to leave the band. I don't know for how long, indefinitely or whatever. Other than that, I don't know."

The guys performed together in Abu Dhabi last weekend, but it sounds like things weren't the greatest. Perry said Tyler doesn't return phone calls, and before the gig, no one in the band had talked in months. "He has had no contact with me or the other band members," Perry said.

It sounds like even if the singer is donezo, Perry and the guys might try to carry on without him. "As far as replacing Steve, it's not just about that, it's also four guys that play extremely well together, and I'm not going to see that go to waste," he said. "I really don't know what path it's going to take at this point, but we'll probably find somebody else that will sing in those spots where we need a singer and then we'll be able to move the Aerosmith up a notch, move the vibe up a notch."

Movie Trailer: "A Single Man" Directed by Tom Ford

In his directorial debut, desinger Tom Ford brings to us "A Single Man", starring Colin Firth and Julianne Moore. It is a story that centers on an English professor who, after the sudden death of his long-time partner tries to go about his typical day in Los Angeles.

The movie will be released nationwide on December 11th after being showcased in several worldwide movie festivals, including most recently the AFI Fest.

Jennifer Lopez Sues Ex-husband Over Film Plans

Jennifer Lopez has turned up the heat on her ex-husband's plans to release a satirical documentary about their short-lived marriage - she is suing her him for $10 million in damages.

Ojani Noa, who was married to the actress/singer between 1997 and 1998, is preparing a documentary, entitled "How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story."

Due to a legally-binding settlement in which Noa agreed not to release any information about the former couple's time as husband and wife, Lopez's legal team issued a cease-and-desist missive demanding that he scrap all his plans for the film.

However, Noa has laughed off the threats, insisting his movie is "100 per cent parody" and therefore does not breach the agreement the pair made in 2005.

But Lopez doesn't find the situation amusing, and after hearing home movie footage from the pair's honeymoon would feature in the satire, she filed suit at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Friday claiming the terms of their settlement have been broken.

Lopez is demanding a permanent ban on Noa releasing any footage of her, and wants a whopping $10 million in damages.

Eddie Cibrian Files Suit Against Magazine

Eddie Cibrian is preparing to sue Life & Style magazine over claims he is cheating on new girlfriend Leann Rimes with a former lover.

Aspiring actress Scheana Marie Jancan recently told Life & Style magazine that the TV star is a serial cheat who will sleep with women behind Rimes' back, as he did to his ex-wife Brandi Glanville.

Jancan warned Rimes, who quit her own marriage to date Cibrian, that the hunk will dump her after he has had his fun.

And the same publication, Life & Style, went on to claim Jancan was once again in Cibrian's bed - behind Rimes' back.

But the actor is fuming over the allegations, and is getting a case ready to file a libel lawsuit against editors of the glossy mag.

A statement from the star's rep says, "Unfortunately Life & Style Magazine has chosen to go out with a story filled with inaccuracies and deceitful lies, presumably to titillate sales, but clearly resulting in harm to Eddie Cibrian and others.

"This is irresponsible and reckless journalism. Eddie has met with his attorneys and will be filing a suit for libel and other actionable grounds shortly.

"It's a shame that Life & Style resorted to a story of this nature and they will regretfully now have to face scrutiny of untruthful reporting in a court proceeding."

Another Superhero Reeve as Carney Lands Spider-Man Role on Broadway

Little-known actor Reeve Carney has landed Broadway's most-anticipated new role - as Spider-man.

The young star, who also fronts rockers Carney, has beaten thousands of hopefuls to land the role of Peter Parker and his superhero alter-ego in mega-budget musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark.

He'll join Evan Rachel Wood and Alan Cumming, who have already signed on for Julie Taymor's ambitious project, which has been scored by U2 stars Bono and The Edge.

Carney's biggest role to date came in 1999 film Snow Falling on Cedars, in which he played Ethan Hawke's character Ishmael as a child.

Director Taymor asked the 26 year old to try out for Spider-Man after impressing her on the set of her new film The Tempest.

The Spider-Man musical will open at the Hilton Theatre in New York next spring. A set date for the run has yet to be announced.

Susan Boyle to Appear on Dancing with the Stars

Susan Boyle is set to dazzle the Dancing with the Stars crowd – with her singing, not her dancing feet.

The Scottish singer, 48, will fly to Los Angeles for an appearance on the hit show early next week. "She's excited and happy," says her brother, John Boyle. "She loves America and loves the people. She appreciates their honesty."

Boyle, who made a previous U.S. appearance on America's Got Talent last September, will likely sing material from her upcoming CD, I Dreamed A Dream, due out November 24th.

And she is beginning – on a modest scale – to enjoy the fruits of her recent labors: Boyle bought a three-piece sofa and recliner set in burgundy leather for her small home in Blackburn, Scotland, and a new refrigerator. "Moneywise, she's very frugal," says her brother.

He adds, "She wasn't happy staying in London full-time. She can walk around in Blackburn. Just say, 'Hi' and 'How's it going?'to the locals."
